I have been seeing E.J. routinely for over a year specific to shoulder impingement. It did not take long for me to experience improvement with my mobility and also reduction in pain which was huge for my quality of life. E.J. is especially compassionate and thoughtful with her approach. When other issues arise, she works with me to prioritize and addresses them as well. She has worked on headaches, neck mobility, thoracic and lower back pain. I genuinely trust E.J. with my care and consider her one of the best specialists I have seen. The office location is easy to find with parking always available; the setting is comfortable and very private. Exceptional Care and Effective Rating: 5 ! In the summer of 2023 I first visited Oriental Acupuncture Clinic and had an outstanding experience. The atmosphere was calming and professional from the moment I walked in. The acupuncturist E.J. Han welcomed me at the door and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. E.J. Han was incredibly skilled and took the time to explain the process and address my concerns. I initially sought treatment for shingles on the left side of my face. E.J. Han focused on this issue, and I started experiencing some relief within the first week. Within a couple of weeks, the majority of my symptoms were gone. I highly recommend Oriental Acupuncture Clinic to anyone seeking effective acupuncture treatments. I have continued returning for more sessions! read more

Dr EJ Han is a knowledgeable and amazing acupuncturist! She was recommended by a friend to help my lower back pain and neck&shoulder tension. I started working with EJ since August, which was also my first time trying acupuncture. Since then, I've been very impressed by the results and EJ's skills! My lower back pain is almost gone, and neck&shoulder tension is in a manageable condition now. Each time after the session, I feel an overall relaxation too, which helps destress. EJ also adapts the schedules for me based on the conditions. I'm grateful for all the help from EJ! read more

Dr EJ Han is the best Chinese medicine and acupuncturist in the Seattle area Ive ever experienced. She allocates extensive time for each patient, typically an hour with both verbal and physical therapy, which is many times longer than the typical session from other practitioners. I first visited her office as I had a lot of pain in my arms, but she was able to cure it with a single session. She was extremely proficient with acupuncture, so was easy for me to cope with the procedure even though I am scared of needles. My family is now a regular patient and receive periodical tune ups from her when we have any pain. She is fluent in both English and Korean and is always sincere and caring for each of her patients. I highly recommend Dr Han for all your preventive care needs as well as pain and muscle relief. read more

My wife was originally referred to E.J. by an orthopedic M.D. following an injury, and she was helped immensely. A few years later I was experiencing lower back pain and decided to see if acupuncture might help so I made an appointment with E.J. I was a bit nervous at first, having never tried acupuncture, but my trepidation proved unfounded and the results were fantastic. And, she is such a caring person. Since that initial visit I have continued to see E.J. on a regular basis throughout 2023 and into this year. EJ is very sweet and scheduling with her via email is fairly smooth. She patiently explained acupuncture and cupping to me for my first time and I felt the benefits of the treatment within 24 hours. Considering, I'm also doing PT and on medications, I'm not certain the acupuncture is solely responsible for my recovery for back pain, but it surely hasn't hurt! Parking outside her office is fairly cheap--I believe it was $1-2 for the hour. read more

I have been seeing EJ over about 15 months for multiple problems (low back and shoulder pain, migrane headache, indigestion, many other miscellaneous symptoms due to my PhD study). I have been getting huge help from her to release pains and stress. Many of my problem is kind of chronic and since I have seen her, my general condition is getting better and any new problems I have are also well taken care of. I see her every week and I feel so good after she gave me acupuncture and cupping treatment. The night after I see her, I have really good sleep. EJ is always very welcoming, friendly, and happy person. She is really good at working for muscular-skeletal system, female reproductive system, stress, anxiety, insomnia, and all other primary health problems that traditional Chinese/Korean medicine usually deal with. She is also very nice to straighten out my short term and long term care plan. She always have really good advice about my general health. I have lower back pain for about 2 years now. I have tried chiropractic sessions, physical therapy and have had massage therapies as well. While all those have their benefits, I feel acupuncture by Dr Han gives me the most relief. The back pain literally disappears right after the session, its like magic! Its such an amazing feeling every time I walk out of her office. It does come back slowly which is why I need to be regular on my exercise routine. I've been going to EJ's acupuncture clinic for a while now as I have high arch pain on both feet and frequent stomach flu due to a weaker immune system. She always does an excellent job and I definitely see myself improving hours after and sleeping better. EJ has helped me avoid surgery, not once, not twice, but three times! About two and a half years ago I saw a neck surgeon about the debilitating neck pain and numbness I was having. I had an MRI which showed a bone protruding into my spinal cord. Surgery and/or PT was recommended. After several weeks of PT which was not effective, my PT therapist referred me to EJ Hahn. Within a few months of acupuncture treatments the neck pain was gone. It felt miraculous! That pain has not returned. About a year later, I injured my shoulder due to over use during two simultaneous big moves. The pain was as debilitating as the neck pain. So I called EJ, who began treatments and also recommended that I get an MRI to get a true diagnosis, which was a tendon tear. The shoulder surgeon said PT would not repair the tear, and so I scheduled surgery, and continued treatment with EJ. Sure enough, the pain went from about a 10 to a 3, so I canceled the surgery. Now a year later my shoulder pain is still only minimal. More recently, EJ is treating my ankle which had been giving me pain over the years, but lately had gotten much worse, preventing me from being able to walk very far, much less go for long walks. For a diagnosis I consulted an ankle surgeon and had an MRI done, which revealed some worn out tendons and some bone abnormalities. The surgeon said PT would not help, so we scheduled surgery. EJ has been treating my ankle now for a couple of months and the pain has reduced to about half - enough so that I'm able to go on short walks. I have cancelled that surgery too. In the span of two and a half years, I have avoided three surgeries because of EJ's acupuncture treatments. I am SO GRATEFUL for EJ and recommend her to my friends and coworkers whenever they tell me about any severe physical problems they're having. read more

I definitely will return when needed! Thank you E.J. ! read more

EJ is absolutely amazing and has helped me so much. I was recommended to her by my physical therapist 2 years ago and have been seeing EJ ever since. I had severe neck pain in November that landed me in the hospital. EJ quickly got me an appointment and used both acupuncture and cupping to relieve my continued pain. After seeing EJ, I had much larger range of motion and most of my pain was gone. She is extremely knowledgeable and while I stared going to her for back pain (which she has gotten rid of completely!) she has helped me with vaious other injuries I have had throughout the years. Her office is very clean and she is so kind. I would absolutely recommend coming to see EJ! read more

I've been seeing EJ for over a year and a half. I suffer from back pain and used to visit a chiropractor for relief. After an excellent referral to the Oriental Acupuncture Clinic from a dear friend I tried acupuncture for the first time with EJ. I was an immediate acupuncture convert and see EJ every 3-4 weeks. My back pain has greatly improved and I look forward to each acupuncture appointment I have. The relief from pain is wonderful and it's an added bonus to spend time with EJ. Since starting acupuncture with EJ I have not returned to my chiropractor who could not alleviate my back pain to the same degree acupuncture does. read more

Oriental Acupuncture Clinic is simply the best! Your sessions will be professional, respectful, patient, focused, and tailored to your specific needs. I have been going to E.J. for over 6 months for severe nerve pain throughout my lower lumbar, upper back and neck (6-8 dull pain level 24/7), and today I'm down to a 2-3 (uninterrupted/sustained relief)... 5-6 when I get flare ups. Honestly, E.J.'s work is incredible! Physical Therapy helped to restore my muscle's, but never addressed the pain. Chiropractic and massage therapy for me wasn't worth the co-pay-- Yes, I felt relief during the session but 2 hours after an hour long therapy session, it was like I never received care. Do not waste your money on temporary and expensive care--See EJ! Notables: * Clinic: professional, cozy, and located in quiet/safe Westlake on the marina * Sessions: only 6 one hour sessions for my pain level to decrease from an 8 to 2 * Treatments: Japanese and Chinese needles, electric stimulation and cupping * Cost: Covered under my insurance read more
