    Part of 100 euro menu
    Tommy L.

Barcelona is home to numerous Michelin starred restaurants so it was hard choosing one. I knew that I wanted to go during lunch since it was going to be a large meal. We ended up choosing Oria for their executive lunch menu at 65 euros which was a bargain compared to what you can get here in the states. However the day of, we all decided to opt for the traditional menu which was 100 euros, which is also not bad! Starting off , they asked if we would like champagne. We all said yes and the server generously poured glasses of Louis Roederer "Collection 242" for our party of 7. Not sure why but I thought that it was included in the menu- we found out when we received the invoice that each glass was 20 euros , which wasn't too bad. The wine prices here wasn't bad at all actually-my partner who has an affinity for nice wines ordered a bottle of 2010 Vega Sicilia for 530 euros, not too bad of a markup. Now the food, everything was delicious. Abdul did a good job at explaining all the food that came out. There was so much attention in everything that was brought out. The traditional menu was more seafood forward which I appreciated. My favorite was probably the fish and the pork. The pork almost melted in your mouth. The entire experience was 3 hours long , I couldn't believe how long we stayed there. I highly recommend Oria for your fine dining experience in Barcelona.

Incredible service, amazing bite in each taste, and the wine list was an actual list for Spain. The classic tasting menu will definitely leave you happy and full. This was a well deserved Michelin Star restaurant because the service matched the food. Service never missed a beat and was always quietly watching and anticipating your needs. For example, during bread service, I'm a crust only girl, so I tend to leave the filling out. I noticed that our server, Abdul, who is so sweet and attentive, mentioned to the other servers to only give us bread that was mostly crust, and they both delivered. The chef also came out to greet us, which is always a nice touch.

A Michelin star restaurant that offers bang for your buck and yet a truly distinctinguished culinary experience. Everything from first impressions, to food to service was spectacular. If you are looking from a break from eating tapas, look no further. Please excuse my poor descriptions in my picture captions. I promise everything is much more elegant than I described them to be.

It's been one of my bucket list goals to try a Michelin star restaurant. Fortunately Barcelona has many of them, with a lot of them being relatively affordable and fairly easy to get reservations. Oria is located in the Monument Hotel. The inside is beautiful and spacious. Service was very attentive and friendly. They did a good job of explaining all of the dishes they brought out. I didn't see this on the menu online, but they were offering an option where you name your price (anywhere between 50 and 100 euros), and the chef will "surprise you". I was given about 10 courses. The items seem small, but I was still full at the end of the meal. Some of my favorites were the oyster dish, fish, ice cream & granite, and coconut ice cream. I loved the balance of textures and flavors in each dish. There were only a couple of items I thought were overly pretentious (marshmallow cube w/ coconut flakes). Overall I thoroughly enjoyed almost all the food, and it was a fun experience. In the beginning they ask for any allergies or dislikes. I stated "chocolate". Despite this they still tried to give me a chocolate dish for my petit fours. There was also a bone in my fish. The pacing of the meal was also not timed well. The first few rounds came by fast, to the point where I couldn't savor my meal and felt rushed. The last third was a lot of dead time waiting for the next course. I feel like these kind of mistakes shouldn't happen at a Michelin star restaurant.

Fantastic! Visited during my vacation with family to Barcelona. Was able to get a table at short notice as we stayed at the Monument Hotel. Lived up to its Michelin stars. Gastronomie at its best! A beautiful experience. The restaurant manager was equally great and offered us a variety of free culinary delights. Love it! Will definitely visit over and over again. Bon Vivant!!

This restaurant located in the Monument hotel, you enter next to the Rolex store. Three of us went and had the tasting menu for €60. We also asked for the dishes to be paired with wine. It was a fantastic gastronomic experience. The local Spanish wine was really well paired and delicious. The Wagyu and Hake were phenomenal. Maybe the most impressive thing was the service. It was 5 star service at an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Barcelona.

Nestled in an unassuming network of cobble stone lined alley ways are hidden gems worth discovering. We came looking for tapas, paella, sangria; and we found just that. Location: Plaza de España is within a 5 min walk, blocks away from shopping, and 30 minutes from the airport by way of shuttle. Used Google Maps with several sharp turns to find this local favorite. Service: the owner employs his pet Pomeranian, that follows the wait staff unconditionally. This is a no frills restaurant; grab a seat anywhere you like, and order off the menu. What we ate: Table service - pitted olives; briny and herbaceous. So delicious as an appetizer. Crisp Potatoes - served with aioli and red pepper sauce; so simple yet so comforting. Fried Calamari - can't go wrong with crispy calamari. Pork & Mushroom Paella - I know we're used to seeing seafood, but pork and mushroom with crispy rice is different, bold, and worth each bite. Sangria Blanco - I won't lie, it was heaven with the first sip, and it left me wanting more. Unlike its red cousin; white sangria is lighter and more fruit forward. So refreshing! After 18 hours of transiting; this was a delectable experience.

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

I had no idea how huge and elegant the restaurant was until I went inside to use the bathroom before leaving. We were there just after 7 pm so it wasn't as busy as I imagine it will get later, because in Barcelona, people don't have dinner until 9 or 10 PM. We ordered fresh salmon with dill, coroquetas de jamón iberico, a cod fritter, and chicken cannelloni with foie gras and black truffle sauce. We also ordered the pan with tomate, of course to soak up the truffle sauce. The cannelloni was amazing! I mean it melted in your mouth amazing!! After our snacks... We ordered dessert. We ordered their homemade Belgian chocolate ice cream, which is hands-down, the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. And we also ordered their version of a crème brûlée called crema Catalonya! Both desserts were amazing, however, I highly recommend the Belgian chocolate ice cream. Overall, the experience was amazing and I hope to pop in again before we leave. Enjoy!

Both my son and I are very picky about Lebanese food having been spoiled by the excellent Lebanese in our home town Los Angeles, so we ordered with trepidation. The very first must-try dish immediately set our minds at ease: please, do yourselves a favor and order their Fatoush salad. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish. The service was slow (as everywhere in Barcelona) but it was efficient, and our Egyptian waiter had good recommendations for everything. He was funny and personable.
