This was my very first massage experience, and I was extremely underwhelmed. I was a little nervous and they were polite but very distant. I will grant that it was an apprentice massage, but I didn't feel like it was much more than just rubbing my skin with lotion and occasionally pressing on a knot/sore area. I specifically asked to focus on my lower back, which was pretty much ignored. They only accept Venmo, cash, or check, but the internet service inside is pretty bad. It wasn't a bad experience per se but I didn't leave feeling any better or less stressed than when I arrived. Also just in an awkward location with a crazy steep driveway of sorts. read more

The best, best, best massage ever! I was so pleased with this visit. When I pulled up I was a little cautious, if I remember correctly the building is next to a law office so I didn't know what to expect from the interior. But it was great! My masseuse was ready for me the moment I walked in and we got right down to business. I saw Jessica, who is a Therapist (as opposed to an Apprentice), so it was $50 for 60 minutes, and it was SO WORTH IT. She was hands on for the entire hour and then she was ready for me with a water when I was dressed and exited my room. She was completely focused on me the entire time I was there and made sure to give me the best experience possible. Before I left I even asked if I could book another appointment (I never do that!). Orem Center For Massage is as good, if not better than many of the massage places around. You can get an apprentice 60 minute full body massage for $30 plus tip. My wife and I have been coming here a while now and have had massages by several of their apprentices and have always been happy. If you are planning on setting up an appointment you'll have to make sure to do it a week or two in advance because they are always busy. Yesterday I went in feeling like my beck muscles were tight and and my lower back hurting a bit and today my beck feels completely relieved and so does my back. No more knots that I can feel. Some of my favorite apprentices that I've had are Michael, Tember, Megan. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a great full body massage for a very low price. read more

Megan is a pressure point expert. I honestly feel like a happy puffy cloud after 90 minutes with her. As a 2nd year law student I'm *kinda* stressed. Went in with a hundred knots, came out stumbling around because my muscles were so relaxed. And you can't beat the price! $45 for 90 minutes with an apprentice, easily the same quality as any other professional massage I've had for way more $$! Just go ok? read more

Well our experience here was disappointing to say the least. We had called and scheduled for our anniversary to get a couples massage. When we arrived they were super confused and said well I'm sorry but somebody else took your couples massage. They continued to awkwardly stand just expecting us to come up with the solution and prompted us to do just two separate massages in separate rooms. Just in general they handled the situation very poorly and offered to push our appointment a few hours or just leave. Not professional at all. read more

I have had a lot of different messages by a lot of different places and people but this was by far the best I have ever experienced. This place is clean and well decorated. The employees made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The massage was perfect. She worked all of the areas that were needing additional attention. Would not recommend. Went with a friend and her masseuse talked to her the entire time. My masseuse used more pressure than I requested and had sharp nails she kept accidentally poking me with. When we finished and it was time to pay, she informed me that they only took cash or check. I called to schedule ahead of time, so they should have made me aware of this no debit/credit policy ahead of time. I don't usually keep a lot of cash on me, so I had to run down the to the gas station ATM and pay a withdrawal fee to pay for the massage. Overall, it felt very unprofessional. I come here every other week for a massage and have loved them. I have booked appointments for friends and family here who have gone back time and again. However, I had a scheduling conflict and called but their phones were not working. So I missed the appointment and made a new appointment the same day at a later time. My appointment was made with the same therapist and for at least 10 min during the massage she interrogated me about why I missed my appointment and how their phones were not working, etc...then at the end of the massage when I went to pay. I left her a $10 tip, which I always do, but she proceeded to say that I needed to pay her half of the other appointment or I wouldn't be able to book with her again as she could have filled that spot. Remember that appointment I had come to was open 2 hours before the time available so she may not have even booked it. She also would not have been able to collect anything anyway had I not come in as they could not have charged for half of that appointment. Just very odd. I understand missing an appointment but when I rescheduled and made an effort to contact them it just seems very rude. All I can say is I am extremely disappointed by this experience as ALL of my experiences in the past have been VERY positive with the other therapists. I will be taking my every other week massages and referrals elsewhere because of this uncomfortable and assumption experience. Too bad cause I really liked them, their therapists, price and convenience. read more
