I love deep massages and not only was she up for the challenge of my super tense back, and rocked it! I was grateful for her skills and I left feeling so much better. I was in serious pain before going and though I'll need a few sessions to get where I need to, my session was just what I needed and it was a huge relief to get that help. The office itself was great and pleasant. I missed the turn, so keep an eye out for the drive! : ) Once you pull-in it's easy to park and find with great signage, etc. The location is in an office building with a sign to go downstairs (well-lit, professional space) and there is a nice, relaxing waiting room. I've been going to Lisa for over 2 years now. I have chronic neck pain and it will spasm to an 8 on the pain-scale pretty quick. I've been able to get into her last minute and walk out a new woman! I also recently started getting Ashiatsu from her and it is incredible. The shoulder and neck work she's done on me has greatly reduced the amount of neck spams I get. In fact, I don't think I've had one since I started getting ashi a few months ago! She's also worked on my hip that's been bothering me for years and she has relieved a lot of tightness and tension. Not only is she a great massage therapist, I absolutely love chatting with her. If you're not a chatty person, she's totally cool with that too. I found this office because it was along my route to work, the location is easy to access. I was thrilled to discover that Lisa, the massage therapist that I worked with, had so many years experience. Normally when I find an affordable massage, it is someone with less experience. I have fibromyalgia and a deep tissue massage is wonderful to help manage the inflammation. The deeper the better! My first experience was miraculous! Somehow she found all my hot spots without me even having to tell her. Not only was Lisa much stronger than most of the therapists that I have worked with in the past, but she now offers Ashiatsu massage which is even more powerful. I'm new to sports massage as a training marathoner. After just a few treatments under the strong and professional hands of Lisa, I'm a total convert! My chronic difficulties with ITB pain, plantar fasciitis and ham string tendonitis have markedly improved, despite my running 50 miles a week!! This is a small (large) miracle!!! I got an appointment for a Sunday, which is shocking that they were even open. I was greeted right away and it was a very relaxing vibe. After filling out new patient form, I barely had to wait to get my room ready. Lisa really tries to get to know you but I was just too relaxed and fell asleep.
