Save yourself some time and support local small businesses! They don't money gauge, are honest and are supporting their local community! I will never buy my tires anywhere else ever again!

Both techs worked on my set and had them mounted and balanced quickly. I probably wouldn't have minded if the service took a few mins longer if the techs wiped down the tire seating lubricant, but, that didn't bother me enough to remove a star. I grabbed a paper towel from them and wiped them down, myself. Pricing seemed relatively reasonable. Thanks for taking care of my tires. I'll be back next time.

I bought a new set of tires from the Hillsboro American Tire in October 2023. Since then I've had…read moretwo leaky/flat tires. Both times Hillsboro American Tire took care of the problem tires. The second time, though, they really went above and beyond. The second flat tire was from sidewall damage, so the nearly new tire was shot. Unfortunately the Hillsboro store did not have the exact replacement in stock, they would have to ship it in from another location and it wouldn't be there until the next day. This is where the Hillsboro American Tire really stepped up. Not only did they order the new tire and set me up with an appointment for the next day to have it installed, they also loaned me a tire to use for a day until the new one arrived so I wouldn't have to drive around on quickly leaking tire. The next day when I arrived I only had to pay a small fee for the new tire (mileage prorate on the damaged tire reduced the sell price) AND they did not charge me for the multiple mount/balances of the loaner, and new tires. I've never received such amazing service like that from the other local big store (Les Schwab) and I've ran into problems with Costco not honoring their service warranty. I would recommend the Hillsboro American Tire to anyone!

Popping up and down, making noise, barking orders to his employee that was late and carrying on a conversation with me all at the same time. Impressive! I could immediately see why he had been in business for 30 years and that he was still in complete control of his empire. I was just looking for a quote but was thinking during this that if he was close I was gonna use him just out of respect. I liked him that much. The shop was busy but the customers were waiting patiently not anxious or feeling ignored so that was a good sign. The shop was clear and clean for a tire shop. After I went back and got my tires it was the same environment. So I'd recommend Hillsboro American Tire to anyone.

Read my review HOWEVER there's one employee who is exceptional who was off when this all happened…read more His name is VICTOR! He is the one to work with!!! None of this is Victors fault! I am updating my review. After getting my new tires, wheels and window tinting spent almost $3k im mad! Two weeks after getting my Tires I got a nail in my tire. I had to be late for work for two hours because their website states they open at 730 but that was incorrect. They fixed the tire. Ever since then I've had to nurse my tire and stop at any place that could put air in it. I finally got off work early today and so my tire read 29psi. Victor wasn't there so I dealt with the new guy. I wasn't impressed with his customer service but I just wanted it fixed. Then when they gave me my car back they told me the kid didn't put it in the plug correctly. So they apparently fixed it. Then my tire was loosing air and automotive outfitters guy said six minutes and it will reset. Nope now I'm at Les Schwab because automotive outfitters is not willing to fix it properly. I bought a warranty with my tires but I'm now having to pay for Les Schwabs to fix it correctly. I called this guy who treated me with disrespect on the phone. I said well the owner reached out to me which he did "Harrry S" on my five star yelp review. He told me the owner sold this business years ago retired and nope he did not. I need my car for work. He also told me on the phone maybe your part is bad. I told him my car is new and I have an app that keeps records of everything that goes on with my car. So I guess I have to go to small claims court since I paid for a warranty have only had my tires for 60 days and I'm having to pay to have it fixed properly. I'm so disappointed and I'm sitting at Les Schwabs for two hours now just to have it fixed right. I just left Les Schwabs and they wrote everything down what they found that automotive outfitters did wrong on my tire. Sad. A woman makes a purchase like this gets spoken to like that and to find out you trusted the wrong people.
