However, there was a misunderstanding. I had severe headaches & dizziness, & both doctors suggested I get an MRI. I asked how to do this, bc I was new to Lane County, & both told me to go to ER to do so. And, I did. I thought I did the correct thing, but obviously, I made a big error. Hospital found a meningioma behind the right occipital lobe in my brain, with very slight brain bleed. It scared me. When I returned in a few days after the diagnosis, both Allergist & Primary Care fired me as a patient. I'd gone to see my Allergist, Kraig, & he was having issues w/home health w/his wife who was suffering from MS. He wasn't in a pleasant mood, & neither was his assistant, who made my visit a very sour one, as she was belligerent/ (this was around 2010). To this day, I don't understand what I did or didn't do. I felt so sad, bc I really liked my care @ Oak St. Medical! Above all, I loved both my doctors. I'd recommend them both to anyone, even though I was asked not to come back after my diagnosis.

Well, as a former employee myself, I never expected to become a patient, especially not an ICU Heart patient. It has been so long since I retired that nobody there knew me except for one nurse. I was very grateful for the level of professionalism I was accorded and the timeliness of everyone involved. Having a Triple Bypass is no picnic. However, the staff continued to assure me all along the way. All accommodations were made for my needs and that of the Mrs. Staff were exceedingly polite and very patient with us as we navigated this 'other side of the coin'. Everyone from Registration all the way to the CNA that wheelchaired me to the exit door were very nice. It is amazing how differently people come across when your life is in their hands. I am exceedingly grateful and appreciative of all the staff and care I received while I was there. Now I am home and completing recovery from my successful surgery. I feel great and look forward gratefully to the next few decades this surgery has provided me.

He is specifically a pediatric neurologist, but there are many others that work at this office that have all kinds of patients. Definitely a 5 star rating would be more appropriate for Dr. Frank! This office is attached to the largest hospital in Eugene/Springfield, so it is well located, very nice and spacious. The one issue I have had with this office was one phone call on which I was placed on hold for 40 minutes, when I finally had to hang up and not get the assistance I needed that day. This was a one time experience, but it was so frustrating, I had let the office know about it, and am waiting to see how they handle it so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Normally, I have not found this to be the case, they generally have answered their phones in a timely manner.

My expectation was that I would see a Neurologist but without any disclosure whatsoever I was only seen by a nurse. She did not help me in the slightest and I left the office totally depressed that my expectations for some results to improve my daily suffering just did not happen. Also, after filling out tons of paperwork prior to my visit and submitting it to them, I was informed by the receptionist that all my efforts in providing personal information was lost! Due to my headaches I have been slow in responding to their bill and I just received a letter from them that I owe just $60 and if I didn't pay immediately they would hire a COLLECTION AGENCY TO GO AFTER ME !!! I found this type of total disrespect for their clients to be repulsive and greedy. All I can say is find another option to deal with your neurological issues. In conclusion, this is a disreputable business that is totally failing to meet the needs of their clients. This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that in some cases a significant number of their reviews are in the POOR CATEGORY! As a community I feel it is important for all of us to Boycott Oregon Neurology Associates in order to make it clear that we will not tolerate a business that consistently abuses their patients. Let's facilitate the process of driving them out of business and leaving our community! Also Note: Oregon Neurology Associates charges a significant amount of money for their services. This means that a significant of their patients have wasted not only their own funds but also wasted the money of their insurance company without any satisfaction with the services they experienced. This is especially tragic if a particular patient is then forced to start the whole process again with another neurology company and experience further out of pocket expenses. Sincerely, Dwight A. Janssen, M.S. Education & Psychology from U of O

AND THE WORST 'HEALTHCARE' AS WELL-though I'm hesitant to even call it that. I did not at all feel like Jan cared about my *personal* needs. She was warm and friendly enough until I asked her to order some tests that I wanted, or to think outside of her narrow thoughts. I was only asking for a comprehensive thyroid panel-we aren't talking expensive hypochondriac things. When I told her that a topical medication she prescribed was causing dryness and irritation, she dismissed my concerns and told me to keep using it. I took my son to see Dr. Copperman for a specific concern and he told my son that his issues were his own fault. His blaming alienated me, shamed my son and did NOTHING to address the concern we came in for. I have NEVER been treated this way before by anyone. His care was so terrible that I sat in the car crying from anger. I asked for a referral for my son, and was handed a list of providers and told they would send over a referral. When I called to follow-up, the referral told me they weren't accepting new patients. I called the clinic back but no one was available to help me. 3 days later they returned my multiples calls and said they'd send it through to another. That one ALSO was not accepting new patients. And then it happened a third time. Finally, I started calling around and then asked the new clinic to call for a referral and it took a week to receive it! As if that wasn't enough, the front office told me that I did not need to make a co-pay for a visit. I told them, are you sure? I usually do. They told me no, and refused to take any payment. When I was then billed for it, I called to find out why and was placed on hold, or hung up on, and never got an answer. When I went in for the next appointment, they told me at the appointment that I had to pay a $100 deposit to be seen since I was delinquent on my bills. DELINQUENT. It was a $20 co-pay. I was there for an appointment and had no other choice if I wanted my son to be seen.
