I was looking for a place to see about a riding lesson for my wife and I as she used to ride horses as a child and not at all in the past 20 years. I knew she would enjoy getting back on one, so I asked a lot of stables. I wasn't sure which ones offer this, so I cast a wide net. I checked out Triple Rise's FB page and saw pictures of people riding horses. Mostly championship style riding horses, which is what most stables tend to show. I sent them a message on FB to ask if they offered riding services -- and if they didn't, if they knew of anyone close by that did. I noticed that within an hour, someone on the account viewed my message. Unfortunately, nobody bothered to answer. A week later and still no answer, but at this point, it doesn't matter. They could have just said, "Sorry, we don't offer that service" and I'd have been good to go. If you have need of championship horse services -- or even horse riding lessons -- Arcuri Stables is the place to go. Prompt response, very helpful, and great customer service. Horses are expensive. Better to entrust your care to a business that responds and pass on Triple Rise.

Horses hooves are even picked by staff after they have been outside. Feed quality is great- horses are fed as much as they need and have individualized feeding plans that are adjusted as needed. The barn is quiet and peaceful. There is never traffic in the arena and the property is well-maintained. There is little tolerance for drama and Elsie ensures that the dynamic at the barn (whether it is staff or boarders) stays pleasant and professional. If you are looking for quality care, a quiet and kind social dynamic, and a beautiful place to spend time with your horse, Wild Rose Farm is a great option.

She cares about cleanliness and proper care - ensuring everyone cleans out their waters, scoops their manure and sweeps the walkways. This helps with fly problems and just keeps the facility nice for everyone. She always has hay available if you don't want to haul it in and waters the arena so it's not dusty. There are trails by her house in the mountains that you can take too if you're feeling adventurous. If you have drama here, it's definitely your own fault. This is a super mellow place! In…read moreaddition to the stalls basically flooding and becoming 1 foot deep with mud in Winter, the owner, whose property abuts the Willamette River, has declined putting up a safety fence of any kind after owning the farm for 20 years and knowing the risks of the river and how the bank is sluffing off gradually. Our mare, who had a vision issue fell off the riverbank and disappeared into the Willamette which is very high right now. This is our best guess. We have not found her. The owner did not say "Sorry" 1 time. She states she will refund our boarding fees. We will see. The main positive aspect of this facility is it is cheap, but in this case, you get what you pay for.

The surprising urgency with which Green Hill works to find good homes for their pets is impressive. They've been known to slice their adoption fees in half for animals not immediately adopted; all of the animals adopted have all of their shots / vaccinations; they are potty trained and have chips implanted, too!
