I usually never care enough to write reviews but this is crazy. I'm new to oregon and quite literally just got healthcare. Robin was asking specific questions that I didn't exactly have the answer to considering I literally just got insurance and I'm an ignorant young adult. And the attitude i got in return made me feel incredibly embarrassed. No point in the right direction, no understanding, nothing. Just "I-I- don't know" "I- I- can't", you would think if you were qualified enough to be hired at place that practices medical service you could at least have the decency to be welcoming and understanding of someone who doesnt know certain things. read more

Warning: Do not see Dr. McPartland. What was supposed to be a routine eye exam resulted in unexpected over-billing to my medical insurance without any prior discussion. During the exam, I was told everything looked normal. No diagnoses or treatment recommendations were mentioned. It was only after I received the bill that I learned Dr. McPartland had diagnosed me with dry eyes and farsightedness, despite having no symptoms or need for glasses. I was not informed of a glasses prescription or given a copy until I visited their office in person to discuss the billing issue. I have serious concerns about questionable billing and unnecessary diagnoses, which I have tried to resolve without success. I followed up with phone calls, an in-person visit, and a letter, but no one ever followed up or provided answers. The office only communicates via text messages, which feels very unprofessional and was not helpful. Their only attempt at resolution was to offer a follow-up appointment, but only at my expense. Overall, I do not recommend Dr. McPartland and strongly advise reviewing your billing carefully before accepting any charges. read more

In spring of 2021, as part of a routine annual eye exam, Dr. Graham McPartland suggested a procedure that would help me with dry eye. I asked what it would cost. After they checked with my insurance company, I was told it would only cost me a $45 copay. The procedure was performed, and I paid the $45. Over 18 months later, I was contacted by Dr. McPartland's billing office stating that they made a mistake, and that I owed almost $800 (the total cost of the procedure). I would not have had this procedure done had I known the true cost. When I tried to gain some understanding about what happened I was met with belligerence and arrogance and told that they would send me to collection if I did not pay. Do not do business with this office. Don't believe them. They take zero responsibility. They are self-serving, incompetent, and follow terrible business practices. read more

I have been wearing glasses for over 20+ years and new to the area so needed to find and eye Dr. My insurance recommended Oregon eye and I wish I would have read the reviews before going because I left VERY disappointed. Came here as only one of very few places that accepted my wifes' insurance. Facility is nice however the vibe is very, very cold. Front desk staff - Brittney?in particular - very abrupt both on the phone and in person. While seated there waiting, also witnessed her being short and condescending to a couple inquiring about past billing, etc. For people so concerned about HPAA, was surprising to be witness to her detailing their prior experience including dates, co-pays, etc. The tech staff who performed initial screening was nice and seemed efficient. On the to doctor, who did not introduce herself and sped along through the exam. Was happy to get a "good report", but not sure that I can trust the results. As another reviewer suggested, seems that their main "side" gig/money maker is pushing their own glasses. The whole experience did not feel comfortable for either me or my wife. read more

Extremely unhappy with this office. My insurance changed last year, and we went here for the first time. The office staff WAS friendly, the eye doctor left a lot to be desired. I have awful vision and it's important for me to see someone who can handle it along with all my questions. I guess I should have seen the other doc that everyone in the reviews are raving about but she was supposed to be the contact "specialist". She had me keep my contacts in for the exam (first time in 37 years) and told both my partner and I we needed to see specialists for different issues. At the end of the exam, I had to ask her if my vision had changed because she was ready to send me on my way without the information. My partner went to the specialist who didn't see anything wrong with her eyes. In the last 3 months we have tried to call the office every other week for different needs and not once have they returned our calls. I cannot go to the office in person because I too work 9-5 and see patients. My time is important also. I understand the COVID/staffing issues. What I don't understand is why no one can take the time to return any calls. Update, since writing this review I ordered my contacts through an online service which they had to verify the RX. THAT prompted a call but there was no answer for why they didn't call back the other 3 times. Also, after talking to my wife several times they JUST decided they needed to follow HIPPA, even though I gave them the ok to talk to my wife over a year ago. Barbara who called this afternoon was EXTREMLY rude. That is NOT the way to correct YOUR mistake of not calling your patients back. Very bad customer service and we will not be returning to this office or recommending them to anyone else. read more

The wait time to see the doctor was well over 20 minutes and very unprofessional. They leave you in a room after some initial screening for 20+ min. The exam over all was OK and the doctor was nice. However, the staff is TERRIBLE. When I went to pick out frames, I was treated poorly and when I asked legitimate questions about pricing and charges, I was treated with hostility from Barbara. She was defensive and condescending. What I learned was that this place is very overpriced and treats buying glasses and frames like dealing with a shady used car salesman. So many better options in the Rogue Valley that have significantly better professionalism and etiquette. I would NEVER recommend this business. read more

Dr. McPartland and his staff are amazing! I have never had an optometrist take as much time and care to get me the right lens prescription. And Barbara was very patient and informative while I tried on about 50 different pairs of frames until I found the ones I love. I highly recommend Oregon Eye and Vision! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The gal at the front was rude and short, customer service is not their strong suite. My exam seemed to take longer than it should. He made me wait in the exam room forever. It also took me over a month to get into an appointment, I would not recommend this eye care facility. read more

My Wife and I were pleased to find an Eye Doctor closer to home. The facility is convenient and clean. We are both very pleased with the professionalism of the Doctors (we have seen both). The exams were proficient and thorough. However we were disappointed in their optical department. Staffed entirely by young and barely trained persons, hardly the level of professionalism we had hoped for. Glasses are complicated and expensive, and the selection and fitting should be performed by an experienced, competent Optician. read more
