However, their policy for warranty is one month only at time of purchase, there is no option to extend that warranty at all. This made me uncomfortable, as, to me, a longer warranty would have shown that they put more trust in their work. T.L.D.R. Respectful staff, no negotiation hassle, but be mindful of vehicle quality.

In the beginning, the owner was great, but then began to respond very slow, sometimes at odd hours of the night, and now flat out ignoring my messages. I had to book an impromptu flight to pick up the vehicle because the dealer insisted I couldn't have a check cut for the vehicle to be shipped included in the total amount of the sale. This is something I've done both in state and out of state before. When I finally agreed to pay for shipping separately he failed to respond to status updates of the paperwork for almost two days yet had already cashed my check. He told me I can't have the vehicle picked up until the paperwork is done. This is a mom/pop kind of dealership and is not busy at all, so there is no excuse for dragging his feet once the paperwork was returned. Paperwork process. Wasting time and money. I'm getting charged a substantial doc fee yet he isn't processing DMV paperwork, and mails purchase orders and other pertinent documents via USPS. NOT FedEx or UPS overnight. What the hell did I pay for? I didn't even need a purchase order for my credit union yet he insisted. Vehicle condition. I have screenshots of the vehicle's listing which indicate "Excellent Condition". Bullshit. Upon picking up the vehicle I immediately noticed the coolant was low, battery was shot, the alignment is off, and there is a tire pressure monitor error on the dashboard. The vehicle would not even start after driving it to put gas in it 1 mile away. Speaking of gas, I've NEVER purchased a car from a dealer that didn't have at LEAST a quarter tank of gas. The car was literately left on fumes for buyer delivery. The car's listing also stated new spark plugs and coil packs and a recent oil change. That was a lie. The car suffered TWO misfires in separate cylinders while on the drive back home. I immediately inspected the spark plugs and coil packs. Of the six coil packs only ONE had been changed, and on top of that it's not even the same brand as the others. You do NOT mix coil packs in a BMW. I immediately replaced the spark plugs and every single one I took out looked very old. I don't trust the oil was actually changed and will be draining it and sending a sample out to Blackstone Labatories. An additional inspection found the front shocks and wheel bearings are also bad. Again... this vehicle was listed as excellent condition. I'd say fair condition at best. You always know a dealer is hiding something when a car engine bay is completely spotless. Since this was an "as is" sale there is no warranty, but I am considering suing for false representation/fraud to recover money I now have to put into a battery, oil, spark plugs, coil packs, shocks, wheel bearings, alignment, tire pressure sensors etc. I would strongly recommend you do NOT purchase a vehicle from this lot unless you are mechanically inclined or have a pre-purchase inspection done.

I was a loyal customer for years. Tom and Pat built an incredible shop. They knew their stuff, stood behind their work, treated customers with respect, and earned every bit of the reputation they had. I was genuinely happy for them when they retired. Unfortunately, the shop they left behind just isn't the same. Since the ownership change, I've had one frustrating experience after another, and almost all of them have involved the front office. One visit was for squeaky brakes. They inspected everything and told me my brake pads had plenty of life left and that the caliper design on my vehicle can squeak under light braking. Weird, but okay. I understood, thanked them, and hung up. A few minutes later, I got another call from the supervisor because apparently the first advisor didn't think I understood. I assured him that I did. I understood the explanation the first time. Getting called back just so someone could explain the exact same thing again felt incredibly condescending. Then came the A/C issue. My A/C makes a loud hissing noise through the vents whenever the compressor is running. They found it was low on refrigerant, added dye, and the noise disappeared... for about two days. When it came back, they cleaned a vent actuator even though they admitted it wasn't the problem. Then they told me the noise only happened when the climate control was set to Auto and suggested I just not use Auto. I explained, again, that it happened in Auto, Manual, and Defrost. Basically, anytime the A/C compressor kicked on. Their response? "Then just use Auto." At that point, I realized we weren't having the same conversation. The one person who absolutely deserves recognition is the woman who came outside afterward to talk with me. She listened, understood why I was frustrated, and treated me like a human being instead of someone who needed the same explanation repeated three different ways. She was professional, empathetic, and honestly the only reason this review isn't even lower. JC Motors isn't the shop it used to be. I no longer trust them with my family's vehicles, and I can't recommend them to friends or family anymore. I sincerely hope Tom and Pat are enjoying retirement. They built something special. I just wish that same standard of customer service had survived the ownership change.

Joe, the owner, was polite and helpful at first. The boat was mid-repair at the time, with the dash in pieces, but Joe assured me it was a great boat and everything worked properly. Unfortunately, I trusted his word and made the mistake of skipping a test drive and independent inspection. Big mistake. The first time I took the boat out--with my family onboard, including two young kids--it started taking on water, and the check engine light came on. A very scary and dangerous situation. I brought it back to Joe, and after a few days he claimed it was ready. I asked him to winterize it as originally agreed in our deal. He initially resisted, but eventually followed through. Come spring, I checked the oil and found it milky--clear evidence of water in the engine. When I contacted Joe for help, he accidentally sent me a message meant for his sales team that said: "We are doing zero to help this individual." That message says everything you need to know about how this business treats its customers once the sale is complete. If you're considering buying from Luxury Sport Auto/Marine, do yourself a favor: Test drive it thoroughly Have a third-party mechanic inspect it before purchase Friendly words at the point of sale are meaningless if the product is unsafe--and the customer service disappears when there's a problem.

I jump through their hoops anyway and started filing out their form. They wanted a phone number to text, but I don't have one for that, but she was fine with an email address to do the same, and said it would work. She said they would contact me for diagnosis (or something?) but she was already annoyed. She refused to let me finish filing out ALL the info on their form, snapped up her clip board from me, walked to the back, and that was that, never saw her again, and I've NEVER received an email quote either. Apparently business is so good they can treat customers poorly and throw money away. That's - THAT.

The noise over the years got progressively worse and with the car being under warranty I would routinely take the car over to Wilsonville Mercedes and my experience there was not awesome. Over three years I had the truck in the shop for months trying to fix or even claim to replicate the issue. Eventually the warranty runs out and the noise keeps getting worse. Well, at that point I start throwing parts at it. Changed the upper CA's, the right wheel bearing/hub, all the inner/outer tie rods, the air struts and despite everything I had done I could not resolve the issue. I made an appointment with Star Motors and took the truck in for a diagnosis. Spent a good amount of time going over what I'd done and what was happening. I dropped the truck off hoping for the best but recognizing that this was not fixed by many people. Welp, three hours later I get the call that they think they figured it out and fixed it. I biked over to get the truck and sure enough, it's fixed!!! My truck drives like a brand new truck again!! No clunks, no noises and with all the stuff I swapped it's like better than when I got it. I found my people. No reason to take a Mercedes anywhere else. I'm one happy human.
