Good chair massage. 30 minutes for $35 plus tip. Tom, strong-looking and age 55+, in black with a little ponytail did a nice job. Ensure the chair is adjusted so that you are not hunched and that your Adam's apple is not touching the crossbar. read more

Orchid Massage - Menu of services and prices - Massage Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

I've been coming to Orchid Massage for...must be going on 15 years now, with all manner of muscular gripes and complaints, and each time I have walked out completely refreshed and rejuvenated. I have a favorite masseuse, who knows me on sight (despite my having lost a good 50lbs since the last time I saw him), and he is incredible: frightfully strong, competent hands, that somehow know what I'm suffering from, and how to fix it, without me uttering a word. Last night's visit was a little different. My wife has been suffering from a pinched nerve in her back for almost two weeks now, which has caused all manner of excruciating pain in her neck, shoulder blade, and radiating all down her right arm, to the point of bringing her to tears. Despite her incredibly high pain tolerance, she has declared, on more than one occasion, that she would "rather be in labor again" than have to deal with the agony any longer. It was time to call in the big guns. Fortunately, my long time masseuse was still there, and available. After sitting her down and explaining her situation, he went to work for 30 minutes, focusing on all of the locations mentioned. He seemed to intuitively know what to do, and at the end of it all, my wife sighed in relief...the first time in two weeks...at the almost total alleviation of her pain. Overnight, the pain did come back, but greatly reduced from before, along with a little expected soreness. Whereas before she was nearly paralyzed at times, she's able to move about, and function like a human being again. Issues like this rarely go away after a single treatment, but as several chiropractic and urgent care visits, as well as a cocktail of pain killers, haven't been able to mitigate her suffering at all, the fact that a single visit to Orchid Massage was enough to set her to rights is just about the best recommendation I could give for this place. We'll absolutely be back for a follow-up visit (or two) for her, and maybe I'll get around to addressing that knot in the back of my neck, as well. I know just the guy who can do something about it! read more

It's a great foot massage except I went there TODAY and ask for this new guy and wanted foot massage, I sit down, another girl came in ask for table and he totally blew me off my feelings were hurt So other guy idk was going to do it but I left I got an emergency phone call read more

Great place. The price is reasonable and the foot massage is amazing. I highly recommend read more

We had a couples massage - without an appointment. We have went to this place twice now - they provide a very good massage. We were impressed with how good we felt afterwards- hence a returning customer. read more

I had a deep tissue table massage and it was unlike any other massage I've ever had. It was great and the provider was capable, responsive, and respectful. I look forward to returning! read more

Great massage. Especially foot massages. I have been going regularly for 2 years. Great price too. About a dollar a minute

Other then the couple not speaking a word of English I got great pressure point massage. I was in intense back and leg cramps going in for my massage and nothing hurt walking out. I will be back....they have a Groupon also read more

This place charges more than what you specified with them. Especially the female masseuse..she isn't honest. I specifically pointed to her the service I want but she will deliberately massage you lightly...and when you ask her to make it harder, at the end of the session she will charge a different rate pointing to the deep tissue. Communicating with them is terrible since they only speak their language. She gave me a rate that was high enough that you'd think she already included the tip. I didn't tip her because she was dishonest. If you want a deep tissue massage without being charged extra ask for a guy. I don't even know if they're better. read more

i can't remember who massaged me, but he spoke a little bit of english. he was amazing!! definitely nice and knew what he was doing. definitely coming back read more

My partner regularly goes here and kept prodding me to get a massage here because he thought it would help my low back pain. We go to the mall often so I was pretty familiar with the staff since he goes there so much. That said, I want to say something before I go into this review. A lot of these reviewers should be ashamed of themselves. From the women mocking some of the massage therapists language barriers (trust me, they speak more languages than you do) to people who refuse to tip because "only rich people tip", of course they glared at you. For a massage, this place is inexpensive. If you can't afford to tip these people for their training and experience, don't go. So on to my experience. I have been twice on my own now. I went in and asked if I could get a table massage. I asked for 30 minutes but realized they generally do 20 or 40 from the sign, so I went for 40. Each time they have taken me to the back where it is less bright and had me remove my shoes and lie down on a table. The table was comfy and everyone kept their mask on and followed COVID protocols. They don't usually ask me what I'd like to do, they just start which is kind of nice because most of the time I don't really want to engage in small talk. They will ask if they are pressing too hard if I moan or wince, and the two different massage therapists had very different styles but each was enjoyable. (An older man broke up some oil and a hot towel on my back, which was heaven, and a younger fella did not but was more specific in working on small sections rather than broader areas. Most times when we are done I feel a little dizzy almost standing up and feel lighter, which I like. I will definitely be back. It's a shame how rude some people are to the staff here. But I promise you, stop in. They are very to the point and professional, the price is inexpensive, and you don't need an appointment. read more

Orchid Massage - Massage Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Beware - when asked about deep tissue, my sister clearly said "No". They did it anyways and charged her for it. Several days later, she is still in pain. Total rip off!! We won't be going back ever again! read more

I requested a female massage therapist for a 90 minute "table" massage. I experienced a language barrier which made the experience a awkward. This massage was awful. Twice I had to ask for a firmer massage. It never got better. The massage therapist was simply rubbing my back in the same pattern over and over. It was annoying. Very little actual massage. I asked her to move off my back after 40 minutes. She never actually did a massage. I finally stopped the massage before 60 minutes elapsed because her "rubbing" was unbearable. As I paid, she actually asked for a tip. I am usually a generous tipper, but this massage was terrible. She should have been embarrassed that I ended the massage before completing an hour, when I wanted 90 minutes, and I had to continuously ask for a better massage while I was on the table. 2stars just because they accommodated a walk-in and the prices are fair (if in fact you got a professional massage). read more

I prefer this place over any other because not only do I not have to make an appointment, they also don't make small talk, and they are very quiet. I have anxiety and find it hard to hold conversations with people, so this helps a TON and allows me to actually relax. I've mostly just gotten the chair massages, but plan to go back and try more. I have to admit that it can be painful at times, as they go very hard. However they are never "rough", and i leave feeling better than when i went in, with no soreness or pain no matter how hard/deep they press. read more

This is come up before and other people's complaints read your credit card statements if you pay by credit card I paid by credit card a couple's massage it was very expensive $178.30 and they still wanted to dick around with the tip which was $65 that's plenty figure it out it's much more than 20% it's like but the massage was good and I was very clear I said so you're going to charge my credit card $178.30 not one penny more because they were added fees blah blah blah yes they promised me when I checked my credit card statement they charge me $180.25 not a lot of money but it's the principle of the thing I will never be back there again they're rip off. So the telephone number on the receipt doesn't work how convenient for orchid so you can't even speak to them about it. When I called my credit card company and talked about the overcharge they just said the amount was so small that they would just rebate the money but never even contact orchid massage meaning that they'll never be accountable for overcharging people. So I say to people check your wallets when you leave check your money because these people will rip you off blind and there's no accountability for their actions. They seem to not understand English except when it comes to money. Avoid it all cost read more

I got chair and foot massage combo. Do NOT waste your time and money for chair massage. They charge $5 extra for deep tissue and it's not even close to deep tissue. Foot massage was ok. I will not return to this place. read more

If I could I would give them no stars! I've come here before and have gotten a decent chair massage for getting one in the mall on a chair but today will probably be the last time. The 30 min massage was okay, the guy was determined to chase out any knots in my shoulders like a bad spirit and had only one style, get the massage over before he broke the chair with his pressure. Got through with that and what was the deal breaker was going up to pay and getting charged an extra $5 for deep tissue when I wasn't asked at the beginning or during the massage for the so called extra pressure. I don't mind paying for what I order even if it isn't satisfactory but not when I haven't agreed to the charge ahead of time. I will recommend avoiding this business in the future! read more

I regularly get foot massages there. And I love them. Only a few complaints. 1. I chose a 30min massage and they never do it longer than 25min 2. They give u a mean look if u dont tip them. I honestly dont have money for tips and I am not supposed to give them out anyway. Tip givers r people who have extra money. Things i love: 1. The person doing the massage doesnt talk to me! I am very very very happy for the quiet time. 2. I love the fact that they massage each toe seperately. 3. I love the fact that i can just drop by the mall and get a masaage. No appointments, no waiting. Things i wish improved: 1. I wish they had their music on a little bit louder 2. I wish they would greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. They never smile and their faces look mean. read more

So many mixed feelings about this place. It's quick and convenient. The prices are great. But there are some issues. I'll break it down for you. 1 Star for the table massage. The first time I went, it was good. Good enough that I went back a few weeks later. Never again. The masseuse was using one hand to type on his phone. I knew this as the clicks on the phone were turned on. Completely unprofessional. I would hope that incident is not a continuing practice at this business. 2 Stars for the chair massage. Excellent massage - no complaints there. However, the chair's face cradle smells awful, like the smell of a hundred kids shoes thrown in a pile at Chuck E. Cheese. Disgusting. I gave it 3 visits and I am done with the chair massage there. Clean your chairs. 5 Stars for the foot massage. This is the only thing that keeps me from writing this place off forever. I am leery of any foot massage that involves a tub of water and I don't care how clean you claim it is. Orchid Massage skips this part entirely and I am grateful for that. They start by quickly cleaning off your feet and go right into a thorough massage of your feet and legs with massage oil. The chairs are big, soft and cozy and you will have to fight the urge to nap. They finish by grabbing a hot towel from the warmer and get back to work on your feet and legs. The oil is washed away with the towel and you are good to go. I have had different employees work on my feet there and each time it's fantastic. Honestly, this place should get rid of the tables and massage chairs and work on feet exclusively. read more

I could barely stand up straight when I went in, but Crock (sorry if I misspelled it) took such great care of me, always making sure it was enough but not too much pressure. I could almost skip out to my car by the time he was done. I wholeheartedly recommend the 20 min table massage. read more

So I visited there again for my birthday, and wow I was NOT disappointed! This time I went for the full deal, a thirty minute chair massage followed by a thirty minute foot massage. The chair massage had me lost in the bliss almost straight away; the therapist even focused on my right shoulder(which has been especially sore) even though I didn't say anything about how tense it was! I will admit that a few of the presses were a little bit rough (even a bit painful) at times, but the end results left me super buttery. The foot massage started with a short foot bath in warm water, which I wasn't expecting. The heat was perfect, and the length my feet spent in them was just enough to soothe them into being ready for the detail work on my feet. Being much longer than the first one I was a little surprised that it was a lot more gentle than the first foot massage I received, but then he had a lot more time to really work everything individually. I left feeling so fantastic I just wanted to fall over with how happy feeling I was! Excellent in every possible way! read more

Most uncomfortable moment of my life. Asked for a 20 minute massage. I got 20 minutes of torture. I was pretty sure my masseuse was trying his very best to break my spine. Practically everything he did he put his full body weight into. Everytime I'd tell him to go lighter with the massage he would, for about a minute, then he'd go back to lunging his thumbs into my back as if he was trying to rip out my ribs. And when it was finally done they didn't let me leave till I tiped. read more

I just received a 60 minute foot massage and could not wait to get to my computer to rate them. Wow! I had a lot of walking this weekend in 4 inch heels and my feet were killing me. Especially my arches. I know the benefits of reflexology from my travels to China/Asian region and usually get them when I land to help the swelling in my legs/feet diminish (so I can fit into my high heels again). Anyway, I saw this Orchid Massage each time I entered the mall to go to Cinatopia but never tried it out until today. I work in the area so this is a fantastic find for me. 1/2 hour on each foot/leg and he gladly worked on my shins and calfs to target the pain coming from my heels and then worked on my arches! I had goosebumps. The therapist I had was named Chris. He was focused, had a lot of pressure but laid off in areas I asked due to tenderness. When I entered, I was the only one in the chairs for a massage but by the time I left, the place was full and people were getting chair massages, regular massages in the two rooms in the back, and two more getting foot massages. That is a LOT of employees. Thank you Orchid Massage. I will be back for sure! read more

Not. Good. I can only speak for the person that gave me a massage, but it was awful. I got a 20 minute chair massage and a 20 minute foot massage. The guy acted like he was in a hurry so he massaged at high-speed for 20 minutes. A third of the time I was almost ready to get up and say I was done. Felt like he was trying to rip the skin off of my back. The foot massage was pretty much the same experience. He was a heavyset guy with glasses. read more

OH EM GEE IT HURTS SO GOOD My neck was killing me so bad it hurt to breath or lay down. We stumbled on this place during date night and I'm so thankful we did. $30 for a 30 chair massage relieved a ton of tension. I'll definitely be back! read more

Wow!! If you asked me today in this moment what would I do if I won the lottery? I would tell you that I would book Michael solid everyday for the rest of my life!! If you asked me what kind of animal would I be before Michael's massage, I would say a king crab, my muscles felt that hard and tence with pinching claw pain. If you asked me the same question after 30 mins on a chair with Michael, my answer would be a slippery little worm, warm, wiggly, soft and flexible. Michael can turn crabs into worms!... Sheer magic! Ahhh bliss! read more

No appt. needed. Michael is a rock star. 30 min. on table and low back pain is relieved.

Used to be pretty good and I would recommend. Today, too much chatter and distraction with my masseuse and everyone! Chair banging, loud tv, unattentive, unprofessional - nothing like what I had experienced before. I work too hard for my money. Will not return. read more

The massage was great. I'm giving 3 stars for the hygiene. I could not enjoy my table massage because of the masseuse or perhaps the blanket they placed over me smelled like week old gym clothes and corn chips. Each time he was near my head the smell was overwhelming. Unfortunately it enabled me to relax. This is my 3rd time at this location and I have never had any issues or complaints. Hopefully this is an isolated occurrence. I hate leaving poor reviews but the smell was that bad. read more

The chair was smelly? Kind of unsanitary used cut paper towels as covers for the face portion. They didn't really focus on my problem area. It was okay other than that. Good enough for convenience and time constraints I guess. read more

Employees are rude. While looking at the price chart in front of the shop, an employee shooed us away. My friend and I were trying to plan a girls day out, lunch, massages, and a movie. After being treated so poorly just for looking over a price chart, I would never ever spend one cent at this business. read more
