I went to Foot bar because they offered Dazzle Dry. Had the worst experience i have ever had in all my years of getting a manicure & Pedicure. The person was completely inexperienced and my manicure that is supposed to last ip to 2 weeks didn't last a day because of the terrible application of the polish. They never even filed my nails and they were all uneven and not smooth because of how jagged and unfilled they were. Same with the pedicure. I mentioned it to them but they wanted to fix it by filling my nails after polishes were applied. I rescheduled out to the business owner asking for a refund and they ignored my emails and calls. I was getting my nails done for a trip and special event snd had to get them redone before the event 3 days later. Extremely disappointing. I also noticed another individual getting reflexology who complained to their nail technician about their service and the technician's response was that they were not feeling it that day! I've had multiple experiences at this location over the years, some of which have been better than others. Most recently, I scheduled an appointment for Valentine's Day. It was pretty crowded and I wish that the swivel chairs weren't so close together. I felt like I was in the guy's lap next to me while I was trying to get in my seat. Also, one of the employees was criticizing the other staff on their planned order of my services during my appointment. She blatantly was rolling her eyes and gave off a very negative vibe to the otherwise calm ambiance. She also scolded another employee on how they were cleaning up while multiple customers were present. It wasn't professional or appropriate, and I don't think I'll be giving them anymore of my business. read more

I love Dazzle Dry nail polish and this place has it. What is dazzle dry you ask? It is nail polish that lasts longer than gel but comes off with regular nail polish remover. I love it more because it doesn't mess up your nails. SOLD. My nail polish is on week 2 right now and still looks decent. I would highly recommend this place and plan to come back. I love that there is on site free parking, which is rare for PDX, I have found. I have only been here for about 2.5 months now. I have been here 3-4 times. I have been pleased with the pedicures I have had.They use quality and natural products. I am happy to pay little more to get excellent foot care and massage. If your looking for a massage chair and stuff then this is not the place. This place is peaceful and quiet with calming and pretty decor. They have the Seats all together that are wooden seats with pillows. I find it to be quite comfortable. They take great care of your feet and the massage piece is good! This is it! I've gotten massages on and off throughout my adult life and the foot massage is always one of my favorite parts, so I had high hopes ... and I was NOT disappointed. My morning was amazing. I started with a 30 minute hand massage followed by a 60 minute foot massage, both by Jessica. For my job, I type all day, every day so my hands and forearms are always tight. I had no idea a hand massage by itself could be so relaxing. Then... my feet. I don't even know what all the steps were. I know there was soap, a mask, a scrub, and lots of lotion. I also know that she left no area untouched, even between my toes and it was just wonderful. I would have fallen asleep multiple times had I been lying down instead of sitting in a chair. Her hands were incredibly strong so definitely a more firm pressure which was perfect for working out the knots. However, she also alternated it was the ideal amount of lighter pressure for me to achieve the ultimate state of relaxation. Jessica was friendly and the appropriate amount of chatty, especially during my hand massage. Once I started zoning out during my foot massage she recognized it right away and allowed me to just enjoy. I put my shoes back on and within the first two steps I recognized that my feet have never been so loose. Like walking on cotton! read more

Not worth the money. The staff was friendly and the place is decorated nicely, but unfortunately the quality of service was not what I expected. I got the signature manicure and pedicure. The actual nail care was not great- my cuticles were not clipped and the polish on my nails is messy. Also the quality of the massage and scrubs was just not great, not what I expected for the price I was paying. Got my tootsies pampered! It has been sooooooo long! Treated my sweetie and I to a pedicure here. They got us in last minute, which was very unexpected! The staff and services were very lovely. The quality of products used were high and thoughtfully chosen(Oregon local mud mask). The conversation flowed, and was pleasant. Know before you go: there are at least two types of services, reflexology massage or a pedicure services. The pedicure was nice but in the future I would opt for the reflexology and leg massage. I need some deeper work for relaxation and my therapist/tech didn't go deeper even with asking twice. So I think it's a matter of scheduling that specifically or which clinician you have. I think my partner and I would have switched service providers if we had known their styles better. His clinician, Jennifer, did reflexology and used a deeper massage technique. Also, some of their staff are nail techs and some are massage therapists. So, it doesn't hurt to ask to make an appt with someone who makes the most sense for the service results you hope for. The atmosphere seemed to lack a cozy, upscale feel I would hope for. It's a big room with high ceilings and it feels spartan/warehousey yet cluttered simultaneously. As me and my daughter walked in, we were welcomed with the warm calming scent of lemon grass. We then picked our colors out and sat down. Our seats were very comforting and zen-like. Before they started, we were given complimentary drinks of our choice from warm tea, water, and others. As my daughter and I were chilling we had some great conversions with the employees about our hometowns and about the culture of Portland. They were very sanitary by all wearing masks at all times, and asked if we would like them to keep their gloves on while given us an amazing massage. Took off my shoes and realized that I wore the wrong pants - but I needn't have worried b/c Jennifer had me covered, literally. She offered a robe for my use and I changed in the corner of the store (no one but the employees at the time and my friend were in there). She placed a blanket over me when I sat back down and then, I entered heaven. First, I can honestly report that this was (again) THE BEST foot massage that I have ever had in my life. I knew the moment she started on the top of my foot below the toes that I finally had met the hands that I have been looking for all of my life and whose hands I could never truly find in nail salons who advertised massage services. She spent time on every part of my foot - parts that seriously hadn't been loved in a very long time. We chose the 30 minute express for $47 (w/o tip) and we couldn't have been happier - we'll, unless we had one of the longer sessions! The one thing that I have to say is that parking once the new condo building opens will be a huge pain at this location but the service you receive more than makes up for the inconvenience of parking & the sting of the higher price. We went to Foot Bar for a 30 minute foot massage with hot stones and the massage was fantastic. Our whole body felt relaxed. They serve wine and various beverages. This is a small space, but inviting. The seating makes it a tad hard to get super comfortable (back is made up of a pillow against a wall). The staff was pretty friendly, more so when they realized we were laid back and friendly. Overall good experience. We felt relaxed and happy after and will definitely return more than once. I recommend getting the massage with the hot stones. For 30 minutes with the hot stones the current price is $45, in my opinion, well worth it. Be sure to leave extra time for parking! read more
