I've been looking for a cleaners that doesn't use nasty chemicals. I've had several items cleaned at Orchid, and they come out clean with no smell or shrinkage. The shop doesn't have the smell of a conventional dry cleaners either. Jobs are done within a few days. This seems to be my go-to place for "dry" cleaners now. read more

5 Stars for quick, efficient cleaning and a convenient drive up location. I recently had to have a large number of black table linens cleaned and knew just the place to go. They have a service where they can wash, dry, fold, and package linens in a way that is affordable and easy to carry (they provide large substantial bags). I've used Orchid Cleaners for linens a few times and always had a good experience. Note that you can drive right up and pick up your clothes (drive-thru style). It's not immediately obvious, so it's more of an IYKYK kind of thing. Highly recommend! read more

They are conveniently located in the heart of Mills 50 and I love that they have a drive-thru situation where you can easily pull up, drop-off and pick-up when it's ready. They have fair prices and I don't ever feel like they trying to trick me into paying for a more expensive service when I just want a simple wash and fold. Truly the friendliest staff! My husband and I both have a select few clothing items that we bring here to be dry cleaned regularly. They also came in clutch when our washer broke and we desperately needed clean laundry. Being that I also host a lot of events, they take care of my table linens for me and package them up very nicely to be stored away for the next event. Pro tip: You are charged by the weight of your items at the end when you go to pick them up. We thought it would be less expensive to have some of our items air dry at home, but since they are heavier when wet, that is not the case. read more

Orchid Cleaners has been my go-to dry cleaner for the roughly 10 years I've been living in the Colonialtown area. Their service is reliable and consistent - I've actually never had a single issue with any of the items I've brought in. I've used their stain removal services, basic wash + fold, linen tablecloth cleaning, and standard dry cleaning services, and everything has come back in top notch condition. There were a few times that my really old washing machine has crapped out on me and Orchid has saved the day a handful of times doing a basic wash + fold. Such a convenient service and I'm grateful they're so close by. Their prices have seem to gone up over the years, which makes sense in thie economy, but thankfully their service has remained at a high level. Drop-off couldn't be more convenient. You can go through their drive-thru area and quickly drop your items off. If you have a credit card on file already, the service and payment is even faster. I often get my garments back within 2-3 days and am conveniently texted whenever it's ready. Highly recommend! read more

I accidentally ripped my dress right before a meeting! I stopped at orchid and the attendant not only gave me a safety pin, but she pinned my dress perfectly! I can't even tell I ripped it. Quality and service over everything looks like his business philosophy. We'll see I guess.. The whole staff is super friendly and helpful! I honestly haven't taken anything to the dry cleaners before getting married. I took my rehearsal and wedding dress there to get cleaned and they did an amazing job! They preserved my dress and vail in a sealed box with a certificate and helped me carry it to my car. I have used Orchid cleaners twice to dry clean some comforters I've had tucked away for a while. The price are average $30-$35ish for a Queen comforter or large blanket. Drop off was quick and seamless, they gave me a little tag with my name and I received an email to sign up for their online portal where you can schedule drop offs, see when your items are available, and see your history with prices. I was able to get my comforters back in 3-5 days while some other places said 1-2 weeks. Overall great experience. read more

Orchid definitely did a great job taking care of a shirt I dropped off. However, I'm not sure why it took 5 days to dry clean and press one shirt. I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't ask for expedited service. I'm just wondering if next day service is possible and how much extra is the charge?? It's good to know where I can take my non-urgent cleaning needs and know that they'll be handled well. I like the text message service & notifications. That's pretty clever and helpful! Been coming here for years! Long story short, new mgmt is trying to nickel & dime you. They even let me walk out with a missing item that wasn't even at their location! Its been a whole week. My assumption is that its lost. We'll see. They also charged me for dresses when they were blouses and for a hand press that I was never charged in years past. I'm also 50/50 in believing I gave them another shirt I didn't get back. Its a shame because they are courteous and do a great job. I just don't like being taken advantage of. Between the great service, and use of technology for checking on your inventory from your phone, they have covered. I don't know how you could improve upon this place. Try it for yourself. read more

Things are returned with stains, I understand that every stain can't come it, but I feel like this should be pointed out when you pick up your stuff. I also dropped off a comforter that came back with new stains. I felt the workers there did not handle the situation well, or really offer any solution. I do not recommend this dry cleaners. read more

I have been using Orchid Cleaners for about 6 months now. They have the friendliest service and my clothes always come back looking great, stain free and nicely ironed.
