I ordered a new spare tire from one of the local tire dealers and it was $130 or so dollars. I texted Rich and told him the spare had a cut in it and sent him a picture of the damaged spare. Didn't think anything further about it. Then Rich responds he would pay for the spare and reimburse me and he did!! When have you ever heard of a used car dealer reimbursing you for something you found wrong with the car after you drive off the lot. This is the kind of place I like to do business with. No problem taking a car to get looked at by another mechanic to get a second opinion. The owners are ethical to deal with, and during the first week after purchase an odd rattle sound developed under the hood. Chuck offered to take a look. It turned out to be hard to locate, but he spent close to 2 hours with me tracking down the source. Turned out to be a piece of Kydex engine cowling that was broken and was flapping in the wind once it was going over 40 mph. Even though i bought the car "as is" the guys at C&T treated me like a VIP. Next time I'm looking for a used car, I'll start with them.

My initial experience was positive; however, subsequent repairs on two vehicles have introduced new…read morecomplications. I entrusted this establishment with both service appointments. Following these repairs, both vehicles developed additional issues within days, exceeding the scope of the problems present at the time of drop-off. The cost of parts was notably higher compared to those offered by other vendors and local dealerships. Upon discussing these concerns with the Service Manager, I was informed that these issues were coincidental and that the hood of the vehicle receiving a new fuel pump was never opened. Apparently, no further diagnostic review was conducted on either vehicle beyond the initially reported issues. I find it rather unusual that the new radiator dual fans are so loud when they previously operated silently, to which the response was that they were not functioning, hence their prior silence. Therefore, I had one of two fans working and immediately brought it in for repairs. My vehicle never produced such a loud sound, so how can new fans be that loud? Overall, the individual claiming to be the Service Manager exhibited a complete lack of customer service, addressing me in a manner that suggested a lack of understanding on my part. I will not be returning or referring any clients to this establishment.

Then we were told we needed a new radiator to make the warranty on the transmission good. Went to pick up the vehicle and was told the O2 sensor was bad. Told them we would change it. Guess what? Problem not fixed $7K later. Took it somewhere else. They replaced the plugs. Also found the wires going to O2 sensor were pinched and was cut from installing the transmission. My advise is run, very, very fast in the other direction.

Despite oil changes being scheduled weeks in advance and showing up on time, I always waited at least 3 hours for my service to be completed. The final nail in the coffin, though, was when I showed up with tires they had installed that balded completely on the outer sides in the rear within a short time. They refused to take any accountability and told me this was "normal" if I drive on poorly maintained roads (I don't. I live in the downtown area of Moscow and work from home -- I drive maybe three times per week and less in the winter). I was told that day that Brady Bain, the service manager, was out and would call me. He never did, so I called and left him a message, but he never responded. I received an automated message from Brady asking me to rate my service, so I emailed him back to say I would still like to talk. I also gave him some options based on my availability; however, I never heard back. I'm still very disappointed with my experience at Rogers Subaru of Lewiston and would have appreciated any communication with their manager to address the situation. Today, I would never recommend going to them. I went out of my way for years to drive up to Lewiston from Moscow to get my car serviced here, and now I realize what a HUGE waste of money that was, terrible service, and it seems they probably messed up my alignment when I bought new tires from them previously, hence the balding. I received zero help or compensation for this issue despite my loyalty to them. DO NOT GO HERE.
