If I lived closer,…read moreI absolutely would consider membership but it's about a 20 minute drive for me each way (and yet, I still come here over closer gyms). Street parking usually isn't too bad either. It's always a good workout, circuit-based training, with a variety of equipment that I would never be able to stock at home. The coaches are super friendly and are always there to help correct form or re-explain a move. The workouts really push you to your limits and always leave me sore the next day. I also really just appreciate the supportive, non-judgemental, and welcoming community. People of all shapes and sizes with varying fitness levels take the same class and find different ways to challenge themselves because there are always options/modifications available. The focus for each day varies so look at their website or snag a picture of the monthly lineup so you know what to expect. I always secretly die inside when I forget to look in advance and end up on a "Hyrox Training" day. But, I also appreciate surprises like Obstacle Course day that make me feel like working out is a game! Would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area that wants a good workout and good vibes.

I've been going for a few months now here and there and it's definitely a great workout. The community is also great, and all the teachers are kind and goes at a level you're comfortable at. Every time I've been, there's something new I'm learning or a new form I'm getting down. If you're bored of going to the gym, I recommend this bootcamp to add into your fitness rotation. All the instructors are very supportive, and really does try to help you and push you to do your best. Also, the music is great and love the water machine.

Jane is an amazing trainer. There is no "routine" with her, every morning she has me do different workouts with a wide variety of equipment. The result is that I am always sore in weird places, but because my body never gets used to any one workout, I see new results every week. I'm losing inches in my waist, my legs and arms are more defined, and I feel amazing! Their kickboxing class is an amazing workout and so much fun! I walk out of there every morning with a grin on my face (maybe I just enjoy punching stuff?) Jane will push you hard for the entire hour that you're there, but she won't push you to do anything that you can't do. I had a year old shoulder injury when I started training with her, and she has done an amazing job of helping me strengthen and rebuild those muscles without reinjuring them. In fact I think she may have done more for my shoulder pain than my physical therapist did! The woman knows her stuff. She's also funny and personable, which makes a difference when she's pushing you to do that last set...

Janie's got a gun!…read more Okay...she really doesn't but there's just something about her that is intimidating enough that you want to push yourself and not disappoint her but she's also hilarious and puts you at ease. I've done her boot camps twice now and am already looking to set up a 3rd. I have never experienced such an ass-kicking that left me wanting more! Both camps were very different and I've heard they'll always be varied. During the 1st one we slung sledgehammers onto industrial sized tires, flipped oblong punching bags down the side of a building while incorporating squats, jumped rope and much more. This past session we threw 12 lb medicine balls at the wall, drug a weighted tire around outside, threw sand bags over our shoulders, did group sit ups while hooking elbows and other "fun" things. I joke about "fun" but it REALLY is!! The 1st time I went I was sore for 4 days, it felt like someone kicked me down the sides of my rib cage and visiting the restroom seemed like a geriatric event...but it truly hurt so good. I love Jane, her facilities and her techniques. I'm looking forward to making it a part of my regular routine once I get over being sick. Look out for a free boot camp or create your own to try it out. You'll be sore but you'll enjoy the process!

She has an incredible ability to read the room, adapt the class seamlessly, demonstrate each movement with clarity, and challenge students with care. Her corrections are always gentle yet precise, and you truly feel seen and supported in her classes. Honestly, I wish I could be permanently enrolled in her sessions. The overall atmosphere is calm, motivating, and deeply positive. Claudia, along with the students in each class, creates a peaceful and encouraging energy that makes the experience both grounding and uplifting. Her creative use of equipment adds variety and depth to every session, while her constant attention to posture and individual needs reinforces a strong sense of safety and personalization. What truly sets her classes apart is the consistent focus on technique, safety, and individualized progression. Each exercise is thoughtfully adapted to respect your body, limitations, and personal goals. The variety of equipment allows for dynamic, ever-evolving workouts that build strength, flexibility, and body awareness without feeling repetitive. After just a few Pilates sessions, I experienced noticeable, life-changing improvements: better sleep, significant relief from lower back and calf pain caused by long hours of driving, and an overall feeling of being lighter, stronger, and healthier. I used to wake up in the middle of the night thinking my mattress was the problem, only to realize that my body simply needed the right care and guidance. After some months my life really changed with Pilates Claudia has positively transformed both my body and mind. If you feel tired, heavy, or disconnected from your body, I cannot recommend her classes highly enough

But coming to Coach Mark's gym I quickly…read morerealized I don't have a few years of lifting experience, I have the same year of lifting experience repeated for a few years. What happened? Poor form, injuries, overtraining, ego. In my first session with Mark I immediately learned that my form led to instability. Fixing that, I felt my squat secure and confident. This is the theme of Fullgrip. Low ego, form focused, and strategically shifting to heavier weights so its sustainable in the long term. While I lifted, I saw around me both beginner, novice, intermediate and heavy lifters. One person was squatting 500 for one, while another was repping less than a plate. I would recommend this gym highly if you are someone who resonates with the above. If you have commitment issues, and needs a more personal touch to kick your ass if you start getting off track, I would say a more 1-1 personal trainer is probably ideal. But if you have the right commitment to show up a few times a week on schedule, and are looking for someone to level you up past plateaus in a safe, long term effective way, I highly recommend FullGrip Barbell and coach Mark.

When I told the trainer, he kindly said to come back when I was ready, and that was the last I heard. No expiration notice, no follow-up, nothing for three years. When I finally felt ready to return, the owner immediately framed my options as either using the 1:1 I'd already paid for, or applying $50, half the value, toward a membership. They never communicated an expiration. Three years passed for a reason I had disclosed. Quietly honoring the full $100 toward whatever I wanted was the obvious move, and it would have cost them almost nothing in goodwill terms. Offering half is a choice, and it tells you what kind of operator you're dealing with. A little grace would have gone a long way. The 1:1 itself was a 40-minute form walkthrough, the kind of light intro most gyms offer free as a complimentary first visit. It was framed as a meaningful training session, but the value was limited and only mildly useful in the context of taking their classes afterward. Honestly, it functions more as a safety net for the gym, making sure you can perform the exercises without injuring yourself in their group sessions. I was also handed an "onboarding" bag with a "golden ticket" promo, three free classes for friends to use, with an approximate value of $100. So the gym is willing to extend roughly that much in free value to strangers I bring through the door, but not willing to extend the same goodwill to the grieving customer standing right in front of them. When the owner checked in afterward and I shared honestly that the session underwhelmed me, she didn't ask questions or try to make it right. She got defensive and offered a refund. For the membership only, not the 1:1. The message I took from that exchange was clear: I wasn't wanted as a customer. Maybe others have had great experiences. Mine was a series of small, ungenerous choices in moments where basic human decency would have cost nothing.
