Houligans - Wally Wings - Garlic Teriyaki

We've been coming here over the last 5 years since we moved into the area, and the food and service…read morehas always been consistently great. We've brought friends here, met friends here, made friends here. We have come here to watch college football games, play trivia, or just to have a late meal after a sporting event. Recently we stopped by after the Daytona 500 and a had a late supper. Hubby had the salad, and I had a chili cheese dog which I had been craving. Both so filling and flavorful. We've tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Our waitress was friend and attentive; making sure we were never lacking in napkins or drinks. The atmosphere was, as always, family friendly with lots of families surrounding us, and everyone seemingly having a good time. So happy to have this restaurant as our go to whenever we're hungry or just want to hang out somewhere familiar and close to home.

Wally wings, nearly every review mentioned Wally wings…read more So, of course I ordered a Cheeseburger and onion soup and my wife had a Wedge salad and onion soup. Ian was our server and he did a spectacular job. It was a very busy evening but Ian kept our drinks full and checked in with us regularly. My Cheeseburger was excellent but the tables around us all had wings. So we asked Ian, for some wings, Wally wings. Ian recommended the Teryaki Garlic Wally wings. They were fantastic, perhaps the best wings we ever had. TV's everywhere, good menu, clean restrooms. This is a lively restaurant. On this night, Houligans did a great job.

Fletcher’s Irish Pub & Brewery - Philly cheesesteak and tots

Hungry for a rueben sandwich and yelp search brought fletchers to the top of the list. We were…read moreearly so we got seated right away. Started off with a black and tan. Great beer drink for an Irish pub. Good selection on the menu with alot to choose from drinks and food. Had the rueben on marbled rye. It was stuffed with the cheese corned beef and saurkraut. Very good sandwich. Add the side of onion rings to it.... and big pickle spear. Cabdyce has the Philly cheese steak and she said great sandwich. Overall not a bad place. Good service and great food. We'll be back.

The vibe here was decidedly empty. I wanted to try this place because it only has 16 reviews,…read morewhile its sister/parent place is so successful. It seems this place was a bar before and Fletcher's took it over without a remodel. This is leading to confusion for the servers/bartenders because they train at the original bar and then come here to work. Everything is in a different place. This huge place is probably perfect for St. Patrick's Day crowds. But despite the Daytona 500 and Bike Week being days away, I counted 6 people there. Another server joined around 6pm just as a family came in to dine. I hesitated to give this place only 3 stars because the food and beer were surprisingly good. We cautiously ordered the tater tots to check out the quality of cooking and the cleanliness of the fryer. Even though they probably don't make the tater tots (they were exactly like Ore-Ida) these were as perfect as it gets. They were cooked exactly right and I love my tots. They were crispy on the outside, not dry inside and you could tell the oil was clean and the fryer was at the right temperature. I wanted to try the Fletcher's Hefeweizen but it was out. There were 3 beers out of ~10 that were out. I got Blue Moon instead. Hubby got the Hazy IPA. Both beers were very good and fresh, chilled satisfyingly cold.I was given an orange in my Blue Moon without asking, always a good sign. With our confidence bolstered, we split the fish and chips. I expected the fish filet to be thicker, but realized this was haddock and not cod. The fish was fresh and the coating was cornmeal-based, not fluffy but nicely crunchy and tasty. The chips were just as they should be. Good dish, well-executed. Come to Fletcher's Pub and Brewery! More people would give it more of a party vibe, enhancing the already great food and beer experience.

This place never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing and you constantly leave this place…read morewith a full belly and let's not forget about the service. Everyone just seems so happy here so you can tell that it really enjoy their jobs which makes a huge difference. We started off with the coconut shrimp and had like this coconut mayo dipping sauce was different, but it was really good, but I felt like it needed like a sweet-and-sour sauce then I had the mahi tacos with just the rice no black beans definitely still as good as the last time I tried it my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza gluten-free and he ate the entire thing so that just tells you right off the bat that it was good and to finish off our dinners we ended with Keylime pie. It wasn't the best it was OK. I don't think I would have it again, though the ambience, excellent this place is adorable. It's like a diamond in the rough. No one really knows it's here but anytime ever and someone says they're going to Daytona. I always recommend this place. Go here! You will never be disappointed trust me!

Having been to the grind over the years, we have certain expectations as to the quality of food and…read moreservice. I want to preface this by saying we went on a very cold day and ate indoors..the pizza was outstanding and the waiter was friendly and engaging..in other words, typical for our experiences there. Prior to this, we even brought friends who hadn't been there before and loved it...now, to our recent experience: We were seated and the waitress seemed as though she wasn't very familiar with the menu and had to check on our requests, each check took a disturbingly long time. When we brought our friends, my gal ordered a hamburger and I asked the waitress if she could have the wagyu, rather than the angus burger, she readily said yes and my gal marveled over the burger...fast forward to the last experience, the waitress said she'd have to order the wagyu as posted and it "wasn't available" as a stand alone order. So my gal settled for the angus burger and again, the wait was a bit long and as we were considering to leave, the waitress showed up, gave us our food and left. the onion rings were cold...literally...they had been out so long that they weren't even warm (our prior experiences the onion rings arrived hot and delicious). Again we waited for our waitress to return and my gal had to ask another waitress if she could get us some hot onion rings. That waitress noted the cold onion rings and brought them back to the kitchen to prove we weren't being unreasonable, which was a greatly appreciated gesture on her part. Very promptly, the "other" waitress brought our onion rings, apologizing profusely...we thanked her and when my gal started into her Caesar salad, it was inedible....soggy, nearly tasteless and resembling a hot spinach salad with soggy lettuce than a crisp Caesar salad....the upside, the second batch of onion rings were up to their usual excellent standard, the burger was good, but not the intensity of flavor their wagyu burger had. If we hadn't been semi-regulars, it is a near certainty we wouldn't go back, but we aren't going to let a single experience unravel years of good experiences.
