I called this business at least 10 times, with 3 answers, and the rest voicemails unanswered. With the three answers, one took my number and said he'd call back with a pick-up time. Didn't happen. The other two were scheduled pick-up times, in which the first didn't happen. The website says they'll pay you $20 for your pick-up. Well, with a freezer, I was told we have to pay them $35 for e-waste disposal. The pick-up happened in the last hour of a 5-hour window. The pick-up guy was pleasant and efficient, if not quick. read more

Here's a tip, don't call potential customers an idiot when they call you to inquire about your service. I was not surprised to see you have low rating. read more

Super Bad Attitude !!!!! Hang up on me !!!! The guy answers the call with attitude from the the get go, asking me to measure the size of the TV and when I told him 36 when I measured the outside and then he told me to measure just the screen, which i did, and told him it's 32, he started getting angry and says: is it 36 or 32? I will charge you $35 if the size is not right. Um, excuse me, are you too dumb to realize you just told me to measure from the outside VS the just screen? Of course there will be size difference. And even if I made a mistake measuring it, so what ? He rudely said, " you know what, we don't even enough make money doing this, so screw it " and then he hung up on me !!?!!! WTH ? What kind of business are they running ? Maybe it's due to lack of intelligence and customer service, they are not making money. Hey, if you are not making enough money, don't complain to the customer, don't yell at the customer, instead, maybe reflect on your business model, or perhaps, basic social skills help. read more

NON bussiness like approach when I called for an inquiry. Online ad is slick but when you deal with them they are tricky. They sent "put down" texts after I had a 2 questions. I am glad i opted out after a few esponses which where mean and unpleasant. I am confused about which kind of business they run. You may end up feeling scammed if you do use this co. read more

I just called right now. To have a "KENMORE DRYER" to be picked up. I capitalized the words so if you're reading this. I am sure you will remember me when I called at this time of day. He asked for a picture of the dryer to be taken and he will send me a text. I asked if the dryer can be picked up today. He said no only Tuesday's and Fridays in the Chino Hills Area. I said okay, send me be text and I will send you a photo. He didn't let me finish talking and he said when you're ready then call me. Then he hung up. I AM CALLING YOU BECAUSE I AM READY. Why don't you stop being rude and unprofessional. Pay me $20?? No keep your money. I am sure you need it more than I do. With your character you will be out of business soon. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY DEFINITELY WILL! Had an old, dirty but running refrigerator to pick up, he told me his driver would meet me at 3pm didn't happen then said 4pm, no one showed, the told me that he's stuck in traffic.... 5:40 pm said the driver stopped talking to him and he has no idea what happened. I asked if perhaps someone more reliable could come in the morning he said yes and he would call me at 7am....guess what......No call...big surprise!!! I got so lucky that a random guy in a truck saw me and asked about the refrigerator and paid me $230 for it this morning , but how ridiculous and how unprofessional and most likely on meth these scatter brains are please just call a reputable company or go with offer up what a joke. read more

BEWARE. I was initially considering this company. I ended up selling my washer and junking my dryer instead. I received a text message from someone I presume employee or owner who upon informing I would not be needing their services called me STUPID. I was astounded. It appears they really do not value their business or potential customers. read more

Great service & customer service. I had a working yet old 50" plasma T.V.(with stand),...that are very difficult to sell and almost impossible to even give away! I tried "The Salvation Army," the local Senior Citizen Center," "Habitat for Humanity" & even my own neighbors...and no one was interested. Orange E-Waste was the only company that jumped at the chance to obtain a working T.V. (three of them actually) and try to find a needy family or organization that can use it. "Thank you" JEFF & RICHARD for your service! read more

WOW, had to block their number for harassment after I declined to pay them to pick up my washer & dryer when their website states they pay $20 for a whirlpool. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Scheduled a pick up. They never showed up or called. Very suspicious of this company.

I just called after reading the website that they pick up tv's for free. I was told if I drop it off at their warehouse it is free, other wise it is $26 for a pick up. Total false advertising. read more

Not good. The guys picks up the phone. But he will respond if the product has some value so that he can make money.

Called the guy on the phone who asked for a picture of the refrigerator and send it thru text. The cost would be $46 to p/u the refrigerator tomorrow since they were going to be in my area. I said fine so I sent my picture of the fridge -- he said to wait 15 minutes and he'd get back to me-- that never happened. I called twice and still no response. In reading other reviews that range from 2 or 3 "great" and the rest mediocre to bad. I guess this is "par" for the course-- so this is bad. Two appointments, two no-shows. Unprofessional all-round. I should have heeded the warnings of the numerous other reviews on this site. I sincerely hope you re-think any business with them. read more

This company are thieves. they advised 20.00 for Refrigerator. They picked up my kennmore 18 cubic that was in very good shape. The guy and his wife took as soon as possible. They lied they didn't pay me. When I tried to call them back they blocked my cell. I'm reporting them to the better business Bureau. read more

Excellent service. Anyone I called to pick up our 60 inch DLP tv said they couldn't do it. They only charged me a very low fee for the paper work but the recycling was free as well as the pick up. They came exactly when they said they would last week, and they got it out of our house ASAP! Very friendly, very polite, and very professional. THANK YOU SO MUCH! read more

Don't bother. The guy who answered was rude and didn't want to pick up an appliance that was a 10 year old kenmore dryer. You see great reviews on their website to get you to call thinking they will take care of you. No true read more

Omg!! They took my money and didn't take my Tv!!! They told me they will go to Chino Hills on Friday. I should leave my tv on my driveway and leave $17 for processing fee. They will pick up around 2-3pm. I told them I won't be home. Need to Pick up my kids from school. Well, when I got back, my tv is still there. Not my money read more

I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews, but Orange E Waste was great! They removed a large projection TV from my parents' house and we're very prompt, professional, and quick! I think they were there a total of 10 min. I spoke with and texted with Jeff a couple of times and texted him on the day of our appointment to confirm. He was courteous, quick to respond, and very knowledgeable. read more

Scheduled a pick-up of a Whirlpool dryer. They advertised that they would pay us $20 to pick it up. Called them up. Jeff requested a picture of the dryer. Sent it to him. Apparently it made the cut because he scheduled a pick up for about 5 days later. Texted Jeff the day before to confirm. He confirmed. Told him I put the dryer outside our garage. He texted back that $20 would be under the mat. I was so impressed with his responsiveness. Excited to get the dryer taken away........then on the day of the pickup he didn't show up and I never got a response from him again. WTF? If you couldn't take it, just man up and tell me. Don't just go dark until the end of time. Left messages. No return calls. Sent texts. Nothing. Inconvenienced us for a week and a half. Great service. NOT!! read more

Scheduled a pickup for a couple items and was quoted $5(??!) to pickup. No showed. I called them that evening and again several times the next morning. Left voice messages and no response. Called them again and the line kept ringing. As my husband then called from his phone and Jeff answered I believe he was screening the calls. No apology for the no show. Do not try to work this company. read more

Great company - courteous and prompt.

This place is a joke. "truck broke down" for Saturday's pick up, rescheduled for Monday "truck is still broken" on Monday. They PROMISE me they will get the television picked up on Thursday by noon.... they no showed. How does a company such as this stay in business with only 1 truck?! If you're too busy to do a job at least be man enough to tell your customers. I'll recycle the tv elsewhere. read more

Called for a pick up. Told to leave it by the garage. Two days after constant promises later, no pick-up. Terrible. Do not patronize this company! read more

Outstanding experience from initial phone call to pick-up of very large 55" projection t.v.. I had a specific set of circumstances which required specific accommodations and my local disposal service was not able to meet those needs so they gave me the number to Orange E Waste. I just assumed that it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to have this t.v. picked up so you can imagine my shock when it was ONLY $7.00..!! I was further surprised by the fact that this company was able to cover all the accommodations I needed, all encompassed in this one low fee. I was so taken aback that I almost couldn't believe it! On the day of pick-up, everything happened exactly as they said it would, no hassles, just hard work and honesty. The young man, Richard, that picked up the t.v., called me an half hour in advance, just like they said they would and he was polite, kind and personable....impressive in this day and age. I really can't say enough good things about this experience...it felt like somebody had done something really nice for me. Excellent Company! Sincerely and with Great Appreciation, Gayle Starkey read more

This company sucks! They say they will pay for certain appliances and list them. Well it turns out they only pay for what they want at the time and they are too cheap to update their website. Enough said. read more

Dont need them laughing at the fact that we live upstairs when calling about a large pick up. The website does not indicate anything about NOT being able to do the one job they advertised all over their website. If there are certain instances where they cant pick it up for free, maybe it should be shown somewhere on their website of the options they offer. Sorry i dont recommend companies with false propagandas. read more

Had Orange e Waste come to pick up my refrigerator. I was given a time frame and Richard was timely, very helpful, and friendly.

I had a OLD FLOOR SIZE projector big screen TV that I have been trying to get rid of or recycle for 2 years. Everywhere I called either wanted me to bring it to them (hence I needed it picked up!) or wanted to charge me a ridiculous price for pick up. Even though I read the old reviews on Orange E-Waste, I decided to try them for myself. I called on Monday and spoke to a very professional and friendly gentleman and was scheduled for pick up on Thursday. I was even able to leave it in the driveway for pick up. As I returned home and turned onto my street, I was hoping the TV would not be there due to some unforeseen issue and the TV was gone!!!!. I don't know what happened with the other customers who wrote reviews but my service was EXCELLENT!!! It went exactly as it was supposed to be. The cost was very very low and I'm not going to give it since different circumstances may require different quotes. I have a few other large appliances and I will DEFINITELY contact Orange E-Waste for pick up. THANK YOU Orange E-Waste. The cost was for regulated RECYCLING PAPERWORK. the PICK UP was FREE. read more
