I have visited MANY libraries all over the country and Orange County libraries are some of the best. It doesn't matter which one you go to you are always welcomed and feel valued by the staff who is always ready to help. read more

The Winter Garden Library is very clean and well maintained. The staff is always helpful in a cheerful and happy to see you kind of way. They have lots of opportunities for all ages to participate in a group setting with programs like Kreative's Corner, Sing-A-Longs and Tea & Cozy Mysteries. They kick it up a notch with the Tea & Cozy Mysteries by providing sample desserts. The Kreative's Corner is a meet up of all artists young and old. They even supply some basic supplies and materials for children. If you would like to take a class on web design, coding or Robotics you have to register ahead of time. They meet in the Technology Lab. More classes are offered and a schedule is posted in advance. read more

This library is always staffed with friendly, helpful employees. They do a wonderful job keeping the place neat and organized. They also do a great job curating featured books on the tables (and tops of the kids sections). I also recently saw book bundles so it was easy to grab a selection of kids books about the same theme, which is a wonderful idea. Before the pandemic there was always a lot to do at the library too, for kids and adults, and I am hopeful that the in person activities will resume soon. read more

I've been to a few libraries in Orange County, but this is the only library I have been where I don't have to wait for a computer. Also when I bring my laptop, I have never sat far from the electrical plug, there seem to be one in every corner. I can easily spend hours here navigating the internet or studying for my Graduate courses. If you do come here during the morning, you might encounter noisy school kids, which can disrupt your concentration. Other than that, it's a great place to read, study, research, make copies, etc... read more

Driving up to this library made me feel really fortunate to live in a place with such fantastic facilities. Very clean with a lot of space, including a cute children's area with a mermaid cutout. I especially like the drive up returns area. It's a great branch, and I can see myself returning very soon. read more

Tish B is one of the great employees here. She is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was there with my two granddaughters and she helped each of us in our quest & when they did not have everything there we wanted, she ordered it to be delivered to our home. The building is clean well lighted and has a great children's area. The facility itself always has something to offer. There is plenty of parking. read more

Nice facilities, and free delivery! Free! What else do you want? Compared with a few of the other OCLs I've been to, this one has a huge music selection, a pretty excellent DVD selection, but fewer books on CD. They did, however, have quite a few books on MP3, which I'm not familiar with. Great place to spend some quality learnin' time. read more

This branch of the Orange County Library System is pretty decent. Usually not very busy. I have noticed that often, when I come in, it's dirty. I've seem crushed up crackers on the floor, and food smudges on tables. They could do a better job, there, but the staff is fine, otherwise. It's alright to come to. read more

So, I'm from Tampa, visiting from the day--helping my sister out by returning library books. I figured that the library would make as good a place as any to work from, with its free WiFi and tables, quiet atmosphere conducive to finally writing. NOPE ORANGE COUNTY DOESN'T HAVE FREE WIFI AT ITS LIBRARIES WTF. Visitors have to pay FIVE BUCKS for a login. Yup, you read that right. WHAT THE HELL ORANGE COUNTY. What does a homeless person do who can't prove their address, or is just passing through do?!? Apparently go down the street. THIS IS NOT OK. The library is supposed to be for everyone. It's nice, pretty small by Tampa standards actually, with no meeting or study rooms, *clearly* y'all are not building your libraries for the right reasons. What. The. Hell. Orange. County. read more

The physical libraries are very small compared to the libraries I frequented in New Jersey. Even the main library downtown is strangely difficult to navigate. What's great is the ability to have books delivered right to your home and also renewing online. What would be great if you can at least reserve DVDs to be picked up at a branch. read more

We love this little local branch! The staff is always happy to see everyone walk through their doors, and enthusiastic to help however they can. They have lots of little "events" geared at all ages, though we've only taken part in the children's activities. There's an obvious focus on children's reading and interests, which makes a lot of sense to me considering the size and location- it's a small community location, and fostering a love and respect of reading in youth is critical to everyone's future. While the kid's focus is very strong, every time I've asked for help locating a book (with just an idea of topic) they've helped and succeeded, so I don't see any real limitations for anyone with this branch, other than wait time to have materials delivered. read more

We love this library. Great selection. Great librarians. The woman in charge of children's events is really friendly and patient. She does a great job curating the programs. My son really enjoys the summer programs at this library and I really enjoy the large DVD collection. :) read more

I am an avid reader and I frequent the public libraries to save money instead of buying books. This branch at Winter Garden is very new and clean. Instead of going and spending a lot of money and getting a few books, I go to the library and get a lot of books, audio books and movies. The staff is very helpful, though once you know your way around, you can manage on your own. I like to use the computer at the library sometimes too. I often order books online from the Orange County Library system and find that they usually have what I am looking for. I go for new publications and authors that I know. The parking lot is large and safe. There are plenty of trees and it has a nice feel. The bathrooms are clean, but the soap makes your hands smell of "green soap" from elementary school for the rest of the day. I have taken classes at this library branch and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I learned a lot including how to buy and sell on Ebay. Great Library! read more
