Our teacher told us that she isn't an artist, she's a librarian who wants to make opportunities for us, and you know that set the students at ease! We were able to focus on having fun and experimenting with whichever design we wanted to do because fireworks are not cookie cutter shapes! They are irregular, which works very well for me who is new at painting. These classes offered at the library can be reserved on line and they fill up fast, so don't sleep on it! I was very happy with the atmosphere and friendly environment. They provide everything, the canvas, the paints, water and brushes. Make sure to check out the classes on line and you too may learn a new craft!

Their bookstore has a lot to look through and the price is right for most of the books. They do take donation but there are limits. Parking wise, it can be confusing. We pulled into a garage and they said that the garage for the library was next door. It was my bad for not paying attention to the sign because there is one but you have been warned! It's got a great selection of kids books and access to virtual learning resources. The kids area is small but perfect. They have a sign that only adults with kids are to be there which I like for safety reasons. They do have other areas for seating inside and computers available. Parking is tricky for members of the public but there are two or three public parking lots. Please note, if you plan on visiting this library call security or campus safety and they can provide you with a parking pass. Not only is this one of the best libraries I have visited (referring to study space, staff friendliness) in the Orlando area, it is also extremely comfortable. There are tons of different, unique, and spacious chairs to use. There is a section on the 4th floor called "Tower Reading Area" this unique space is hidden and tucked away. It's always very clean and they have very helpful people at the front desk who are willing to assist at any moment with any question that you have. I have witnessed personally, several of the front desk associates help out elderly persons who were not too efficient on the computer and they assisted them patiently. It was very sweet to see that kindness. One thing that I did see that I did not take advantage of, but will next time, is that they have a sensory kit at the front desk for anyone who needs it. I feel like that is very accommodating on their part and that most libraries should have something like that for anyone who requests it. I was in the library for about three hours on the computer as a guest since I am not part of Osceola County so I cannot make a library card here; but I stopped by before work to study. The ONLY complaint I do have to make is that when using the computers, either as a guest, or as a library card holder, when they close, they shut down the computers 30 minutes before without warning; so make sure to save your stuff ALWAYS. I thought that the library closed around 8 PM on Saturday but they close at 6 PM and they ended up shutting down all of the computers at 5:30 PM without a warning on the computer screen. Thankfully, I had saved some of my stuff before hand, but I did lose a little bit of work and I know that, some people around me were very frustrated that they lost a lot of work without saving as well. I do think that they should fix that system so that there is at least a warning on the screen that the library is going to be closing soon so that the people on the computers know to save everything.
