I do agree it is always spotless inside and the grounds are beautiful. It's actually rather small. They may or may not have the book you are wanting. More than likely they only have one copy of it and you'll be put on a waiting list. Be sure to have patience. They do have a large children's section, but I found the woman who runs the children's section to be very rude and she even spoke to me as if I was a child. It was everything I could do to bite my tongue. She's certainly not the type of woman I would want to be helping my children in a library (or anywhere for that matter). As long as you don't have to deal with her, your children are sure to find many books they will love. I have found the other employees to be pretty friendly and helpful. Just avoid the main woman over the children's section and you should be good. I love the fact they have no limit on the number of books you can check out at a time. This comes in very handy for my husband when he has an assignment due for college and needs a ton of books at a time. We have our own laptops and wifi at home, so we have no need for the computer or internet in the library. Although I do feel sorry for the people who do need this particular service in the library because every time I have been in, all computers have been occupied and there has been a wait time to use one. That stinks for all the people having to wait. I also like the fact you can login online and renew books, etc. Very convenient. There is a book I'm wanting to read and don't want to purchase because it is still only available in hardback. I was put on the list 2 months ago and I was number 5 on the wait list. I called a few days ago and I'm now number 4 on the wait list. Looks like I'm moving up once every 2 months. At this rate, they may have the book for me in about 8 more months. By that time, it'll be available in paperback and I can go purchase it for myself.

Just like other Orange County Libraries, you can visit this Library, rent movies and CDs for free and, obviously, take out books. It's a pretty spacey library with lots of computers to use, quiet sections for studying and working, Free Wifi for Orange County residents and even free classes. Lots of seating areas and tables and even individual seating. Finally, they offer free classes that range from Conversational English, Computer program classes like Photoshop and Microsoft to even Martial Arts! Sweet!! All in all a pretty neat library, organized and helpful staff.

They have baby and Me for younger infants and another group for older kids. They also do all types of events throughout the year you can find on their Facebook or calender. They even do events for adults and offer educational classes all for free. The library staff is always friendly. Jonathan the youth specialist who leads the baby and me class is remarkable. He has a true talent for connecting with the kids. My son adores him and actually gets engaged in story time. I appreciate how Jonathan remembers my sons name and greets him each time. This library has a very inviting children's room with blocks and in the back they have animal shaped chairs. They allow you to check out so many books and make reading exciting. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and let your children have fun! Its never too soon to start their education and joy for learning.

It wasn't at all busy on this particular Sunday afternoon. The meeting room was plenty spacious and was able to easily accommodate that 24 or so persons in attendance. The staff was friendly. They facilities were clean. Sometimes it is just good to get out of the old comfort zone and see what else is being offered around the metro area.

It's sad to see libraries don't seem to get there level of love they used to as a public service. Thank you for the childhood memories! From balloon animal courses, fiber arts, Renaissance events, resume help, or language learning, this location has it all! Plus, the staff has always been super kind and helpful. I've personally taken a couple of foamsmithing classes where you make props for cosplay. In Foamsmithing I we made Deathstroke masks. In II we made pokeballs. Both classes were a blast and I can't wait for the next one!

It's got a great selection of kids books and access to virtual learning resources. The kids area is small but perfect. They have a sign that only adults with kids are to be there which I like for safety reasons. They do have other areas for seating inside and computers available. The outside is charming with rocking chairs perfect to sit and read on a nice day out.

Today was my first time in the library in a long time. For someone who just picked up a new habit…read morein late December and is on a budget, I needed an inexpensive way to continue reading books and preserving time. After looking online for the hours of operation on the weekend, especially a Sunday, and the requirements to get a full-access library card, I took my little family in. We were greeted by a nice young woman at the counter who smiled, welcomed us, and then proceeded to help us get our cards. Library cards are good for two years and then need to be renewed. Throwback to my last library card in 2014, I had to bring in a utility bill to show I was a resident of the county, today I just needed to show my DL. It was quick and easy to get my card. Downstairs are holiday books, audio, DVDs, magazines, fiction, nonfiction, adult graphics and teen graphics, restrooms, an elevator, a sensory room, and a few study rooms. Upstairs are meeting rooms, study rooms, a teenage section, computer access, adolescent books, preschool books, and a room for toddlers. It was a nice relaxing afternoon. With the all-access pass, I get up to 50 books per card, place 20 holds, check out for 21 days, and have 3 automatic renewals. I am also an educator, to get this pass, I had to show my teacher ID, and current paystub, and provide them with the address of my school. With this card, I get up to 100 books per card. Next time, I will use the online card catalog to find books or go in with a plan. Today, I was a bit overwhelmed and wasn't sure where to find titles. What I like is being able to go on the website and request/hold books and when they become available you'll get notified and have a time limit to pick up. I have already added 3 titles to my request list. :)

The lines were longer than I expected, but then again I went in right when they open the doors. The ladies in charge and the volunteers were helpful and they kept the tables full of books. I'm a huge library nerd. Always have been since elementary school when my dad first took me to the…read moremassive South Beach library on 14th street (It's no longer there anymore :( ) and that day, I checked out the book limit which was 20 books. Did I read all the books? No, but as a 7-year-old who hardly went out anywhere, that place was paradise. That's why the public library system is such a valuable asset; especially where children are involved. It keeps them out of trouble and in a place where they can actually learn something. Fast forward to many years later and my heart still skips a beat whenever I enter a Library. This Library in particular is small when compared to other libraries in central Florida, but it's also one of the newer ones so it's clean, well kept, and has a Lab room, but also a Technology room should you sign up for one of their courses. Which by the way is completely free. I try to take advantage of that when I can, just the other day I took a: "How to make a book charm class", and it was a delightful experience. I've seen that you can even learn how to program video games if you wish to go down that avenue, or if you wanted to, you could sign up to become familiar with various computer programs, even how to build a web-site, all free, why would you not take advantage of that? Other than books, you are able to check out DVD's and movies here as well. The staff is super friendly here, definitely will be back.
