a glass of orange county gin

I've been here before and have never disliked their drinks but came out to see the cousins Maine lobster truck. I love that even though they don't serve food they've always got a food truck outside where you can get food and bring it inside to order drinks and eat. The bartenders were super friendly and the lady helping me even recommended a drink which ended up being delicious. We sat in the barn and were able to eat, drink, and play board games for awhile. I was worried it was going to be chilly inside because it was a cold rainy day but it was nice and warm inside.

Came out with my wife for a Friday night happy hour. When we arrived it was not crowded. We were able to order our drinks right away. The female bartender was very friendly. My wife tried two different beers, the Pilsner and the lager. She enjoyed both. I ordered the old fashioned and was pleased with it (I consider myself an old fashioned snob). I'll definitely come back to the distillery/brewery in the future. I was also pleased to see that there was a food truck available (Melt) so I could grab something to eat with our drinks.

OCD serves tasty cocktails with quality, fresh ingredients. Every weekend, there is a rotation of food trucks offering tasty lunch items. In warm weather, bar staff will set up a bonfire for you. Bring ingredients to make s'mores! In cold weather, cozy up in the loft with a board game. Family friendly and chill.

The scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Not bad! Small bar. The brews were just okay, a bit too citrusy. Service was okay.

Had a wonderful time at Orange county distillery. There was a food truck where you'd be able to get light snacks such as burgers hotdogs and fries. There's also a wide variety of drinks- from cocktails, ciders and hard seltzer's. Great spot for kids and pets. There is ample seating with lots of fire pits to keep you warm. We will definitely be visiting again!!

Yeah we had a great time here on a Friday afternoon. No mask by staff but we don't care. It's very open and air flow is great. You can spend the rest of your time in the lawn with live music right after your drinks. Live music according to the bartender is Friday and Saturday night only and they are really good. They were playing 90s cover and we had lots fun. There are firepit and Adirondack chairs with picnic table. We got there around 5pm and the crowd is pretty thin. Service is good. We ordered a specialty cocktails and got that on instagram. Overall it's fun chatting with human after COVID. Every customers mind to their own table and it's pretty distanced. Price is decent and I heard something about their happy hour which we need to go back to find out. Food is limited and don't think about vegan. They are mostly burger and fries and wings from a food truck. We weren't hungry for those. Also leave your drink and food at home. This is not a byob place. The scenic lawn is what the hype about for this place. On a good day, you get to overlook the whole plain and maybe a great sunset.

I finally visited the Orange County distillery at brown barn farm. I pulled up and parked and I was impressed with the location. Basically it's a old bar in the middle of farmland. You walk inside and there's tables and small stage.im sure they have live entertainment there. Walking back into a nice bar area with tables. There is a upstairs with tables and chairs. It looked like a nice cozy place to relax with a drink. They have tapped craft beer with a large selection of bottled and canned crafted beers. There is also a food truck right outside. I can't wait to come back againn

This is a super unique spot, both in atmosphere and drinks. For starters, it's in an old barn looking building with really cute decor and tons of seating. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. There's a fireplace and string lights indoors which really sets a nice ambiance. The cocktails on the menu are a little pricey, I think the lowest was around $9, but they do have really unique flavor combos. I tried a gin cocktail and was not disappointed. I noticed that they also have a food truck in case people get hungry. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Great service. Great service. I love sitting outdoors and enjoying my cocktail. I've been there three times and Spears had an amazing time

This review is for brown barn farms on maple ave! With oc distillery! Reallyyyyy beautiful spot. So much land and its amazingly maintained. The barn is very rustic and cute. The small sunflower field is really nice also. Tons of picnic tables and chairs very spaced out. Got a solid burger from the food truck. Dog friendly. Cant give a full 5 stars bc our drinks were bleh! But everything else was great.

When we got there, Robert greeted us and, when we asked about them, offered to give us a quick tour (we were the only ones there) for a donation to The Third Option Foundation (how could we say no, especially if it goes to an amazing cause?). To say he knew his stuff is an understatement; he made the complex process so easy to understand! The tasting was like a show in itself; between Brian and him, we really got to know their Bootlegger line of vodka, gins, and bourbons. While all of them tasted great, my personal highlights were the vodka and the bourbon cream. Theirs was the smoothest vodka I ever tried that I almost bought a bottle right then and there (waited until after the tasting, of course). The bourbon cream was like a dessert -- sweet, not too heavy, and, for someone who prefers vodka to bourbon, it made me appreciate bourbon more. Following suit with those who recommended it to me, I also recommend it if you're in/near Roscoe, especially if you want to support the local businesses.

A real bourbon aficianado friend of mine from out of town, after tasting it, looked at me shocked and wanted to know where the heck it came from!!! Also, the Friday Happy Hour at Denning's is a real treat. The prices are very, very Happy Hour-esque and even if you hang for a while after you're not going to get murdered like you would other places in town. Alana (their amazing bartender) mixes great drinks, all featuring Denning's booze. Amy, the hostess (who mans the tasting room) is as welcoming and nice as they come. The room has its charms! It is a distillery, not a super high style bar though. So set your expectations accordingly. But I am a big fan and you will find me here with regularity as I roam the streets of town. Worth a quick detour off Main if you are an out of towner for sure.
