Warning! I'm going to call a Spade a Spade in this review as…read morewell as use colorful language,.... because today's experience at Ritter begs for colorful descriptive language. Drive into their drive thru lumber yard. After about 7-8 trips to this particular Ritter over the last 5 weeks I'm stopped at the entry point. I'm asked to tell the greeter exactly what I want to buy. Well hell, I need to look at what they have to decide on what I will want to buy. This is a first problem. With no handoff announcement I'm handed off to a nice young man to show and load the lumber. The first item I want to look at is their 1 by 12 by 12ft boards. The nice kid can't give proper directions to where the boards are located. So I try to play follow the leader. He's walking I'm in the truck. He walks up to 1 by 10 by 12ft boards and says, "Here are the 1 by 12's but these are 14ft long". I say, Nope. These are 1 by 10's by 12ft,... where is your tape measure? He says, " I don't have a tape measure" Second & third problems discovered. Yard kid doesn't know lumber sizes and has no damn tape measure. After the kid wonders around the yard for 3-4 minutes I say, Forget the 1 by 12's. Let's get to the 1 by 8's. We move back inside the main lumber barn. He pulls out a 1 by 8 only suitable for firewood. Fourth problem discovered. Kid now says I know where pressure treated 1 by 12's are located. I say, I don't want pressure treated anything. I have about half the lumber I went there to get and pull up to the cashier station. The Cashier is sitting at the desk wasting. She sees me. She continues to eat. As I get out of the truck she heads out to get my loading ticket. I tell her there are none of the 1 by 12's in the truck and to remove them from the order. She asks why I don't have them. I say, The kid cant find them. She walks off and is gone. A Ritter guy walks up to me and stands there looking at me. I say, Do I pay you? He says No with a stinking ass'd attitude. After 4-5 minutes the cashier comes back. She says I showed the guy where the boards are located. I say, I'm in a hurry. I've spent t too much time here. I only want to buy what's in the back of my truck. She walks in cashier booth. Kid walks up and puts one 1 by 12 by 12ft in my truck when I wanted 2. I tell him to take the 1 by 12 out because I'm not buying any Then the dialogue starts between 3 Ritter employees and nothing is getting done. I say again, I'm in a hurry. Nothing happens. I walk inside the booth and ask for my credit card then walk to my truck bed and yank out the damn lumber onto the floor. I get in truck and go to Tri Supply. I've threatened to never go back to Ritter. I'll be damned if I ever go back to any Ritter store. This place is Consistently horrible. You can count on it.

Contrary to some of these other reviews I have always found the employees very helpful. And while,…read moreas a locally owned business, they cannot compete with the mega stores as to how many things they can stock and at what price they can charge I find most of what I need there. But I'm an old fashion sort that still believes in supporting locally owned stores were most of the profit stays to people who live and spend a lot of their money in the community. So far they have managed to stay in business unlike a lot of smaller businesses that have been closed because all the profit goes to people who don't even live in the same state.

Lowe's Home Improvement - Maybe they are starting an obstacle course for employee health? Impossible to get down aisles most days.

Lots of things to get, more than 40 aisles in this store filled with lots of workshop items, house items, furniture, and MORE! Every time I come here, the workers really help us out here, and very welcoming! The worker over the checkout, help us out with an issue, everything worked out great! Came to get some gloves, cleaning supplies, and ac filter. Worker AJ came to help us with the AC filter, when they didn't have the one for us, he recommended to order it on the app so we can get the size we need! Worker Terry helped us with looking for the items, an expert, tell her an item, exactly knows where it is! Lots of Halloween decorations, light up ones, inflatable ones, scary ones (my favorite), and others. Lots of plants here as well! Overall, this is a great place! I have been shopping at TRI-Supply for several years. We have bought washers, dryers,…read morerefrigerators, microwaves, a microwave drawer, gas stove, upright large freezer a Nantucket sink a Zepher ceiling fan and will be buying a Kitchenaid Dishwasher in a couple of weeks. They are my go to place. I have never had problems with my deliveries. The delivery guys have always been very nice and have went the extra mile. If I have needed a little extra help. Lee Cook is my regular salesperson. He knows what I look for in my purchases and guides me accordingly. If Lee happens to be out when I go in, Shawn and Roy both have been very helpful with what I am looking at. I just have not had problems of any kind. I love doing business with this company. They will also match prices with other stores if you find your purchase for less somewhere else. Ask for Lee when you go in. He is great to work with and he always follows up with you if you have a problem of any kind. I love their merchandise! Regina Williamson

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH TRI SUPPLY…read more The only thing worse than their products is their customer service. I built a $3MM house, I bought the best of everything they had. I spent well over $100,000 on appliances doors and windows. We moved in in May, 6 months ago. June 1st I told tri supply that my big expensive freezer doesn't make ice, neither does my outdoor ice maker. No one has ever come to look at the outdoor ice maker. Someone came to look at the one in the freezer but they can't fix it. So I guess there answer to me is, "Too bad for you. We got our money so we are done helping you." My front door is severely warped, cold air pours into the house. The back door too. The doors also have wooden panels at the bottom, instead of making the panel out of one piece of wood, it is made of five pieces and they are all separating from one another. They have known this since June as well, and refuse to fix it or replace it. Every single window in my house leaked and ruined the paint and wall paper and warped the window sills. They did send someone to put some JB weld type stuff on the crack where they leak. My nearly $3000 coffee maker is broken My kitchen vent hood fan arrived broken and was installed broken. It makes a crazy loud noise when you turn it on. They don't seem to have any plan to fix it. I can't get good customer service out of Tri Supply, imagine what kind of service a customer gets who just spends $20,000 or maybe just buys a new fridge or oven. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH TRI SUPPLY. The only thing worse than their products is their customer service.
