Every time I come here, the workers really help us out here, and very welcoming! The worker over the checkout, help us out with an issue, everything worked out great! Came to get some gloves, cleaning supplies, and ac filter. Worker AJ came to help us with the AC filter, when they didn't have the one for us, he recommended to order it on the app so we can get the size we need! Worker Terry helped us with looking for the items, an expert, tell her an item, exactly knows where it is! Had to go to Lowe's yesterday for some electrical parts and bolts. You know it isn't going to be good when you actually dread going into a store. The Home Depot in Beaumont is a bit better, but not by much usually - and it is about 7 minutes farther... so Lowe's it was... Remember when retail companies cared about presentation and organization? Boy I long for those days! This store is about as dirty and disorganized as they come. Made me laugh when I see small erase boards up around the store listing their biggest shrink items in each section. Why? Because their shrink is because they have no customer service and you cannot find anything. That is why looking at how many they have in stock on their website is futile and ridiculous. Had to pick up a few things quickly and ran through Garden Dept. As i was checking out and while talking to the considerate kind young lady that was working the cahier i noticed her sweating very badly. i asked her if she had a porta cool or some type of cooling unit to help ease the extremely hot temperatures. she said "no". i would like to know why the store manager hasnt got her a porta cool or something to help keep her comfortable. This is unacceptable and almost inhumane. whoever the cowardly manager there is please go work a shift for her with nothing but a few bs fans. Thats what i thought. i know u wouldnt. Once again I've had a positive experience at my favorite store Lowes we visited the Lowes In. Beaumont Texas located on. Dowlen Road. We were looking for paint, flooring and light fixtures for the bathroom and found some great deals. We were greeted the minute we walked in by a nice gentleman which immediately asked us If needed any help finding anything. As we were searching for paint a gentlemen came over to assist us with the color and also helped us get the five gallon buckets into the basket. Then we headed to the flooring section of the store and was greeted and asked if we needed any help. We were shopping for kitchen and laundry room flooring and got lots og great ideas. Another great experience and ill definitely be back soon. Got lots of projects to complete. read more

I placed an Online Order for Pickup at 0930 this morning... its been over 6 hours and my order still is not ready. Had I been off work today, I would have drive there and picked my items myself... but I was at work all day today, and the service YOU provide, (i.e. order online, and pick up on my time) is severely lacking... now a guy has to go home and shower with NO HOT WATER because your employees can't pick an order, or update their customers about it... What's even more frustrating, is that when a guy wants to call said store to address or solve an issue... it takes 37 minutes ON HOLD before an associate answers, and 10 more minutes to be transferred to a department... shame on the mess! It be faster if I ordered through Amazon Prime... bet yall'd like that, huh?! I'm telling you folks, shop Locally owned stores like M&DSupply... they not only answer the phone and help you, but they've probably already got what you need... or KNOWS someone that does... Lowe's has always met my needs for anything and everything for tools, lumber, and home improvement. Today's visit was an excellent one due to one of your employees, Joshua. I was searching my wallet for my Lowe's card as I was approaching the self-checkout area. This young man offered to help but I told him I couldn't find my card and would have to get in a cashier's line. He told me he could help and checked me through as he went to his computer and found my name, etc. in the system. It was not a big purchase and the 5% wouldn't have been a big loss but it sure convinced me of the Beaumont store's commitment to service via great training and selection of this particular employee. I don't write reviews normally however I have tried to talk to a Manager for 2 days at the Beaumont Location. Even called the Lowe's 800 number. Was told I would hear back within 24 hours. No phone call from 800 number or from Store manager. You think that since it was to do with a $6000 order that I returned due to bad service and not working they would care to call. Amaya at the customer service center was very rude with eye rolling and telling me I could not speak to a manager. This was on day two of what took nearly 4 hours in store to fix. I purchased, AND PAID FOR, a dishwasher in November. It was on back order, but delivery was scheduled for 22 December. In December the date slipped to mid January. In January it slipped a couple times until February. In Feb to March. In March a couple more slips to April. In April, it has now slipped to early May. I have still not received, but we're keeping our fingers crossed. Now, I've ordered a lawn mower which was apparently available in the local store. It said it would ship in 1-4 business days, and it projected a delivery date a week later. Today is that week, and now it has a delivery in four more days. If I would have known it would be taking that long, I could maybe have picked it up or arranged to have help picking it up. It seems Lowe's wants to make a sale, but have no intentions of honoring a delivery schedule. I have bought several other appliances and larger purchases in the past, but I will have to consider going to Home Depot or other competitor with future purchases. Customer Service within the store is sparse, at best. Good luck finding someone that can (and is willing to) help. *Update: We received a call that our dishwasher was on the dock. Apparently it had sat there for at least two days without being logged in or ourselves or the installers contacted. Now awaiting call from installer. If I could give this store negative stars, I would!! Had a terrible experience here this evening. My husband and I went in to purchase a washer and dryer set. I had already done my research and picked out exactly what I wanted so this should have been a quick sale. When we arrived in the appliance department, there was a customer there already having some kind of trouble that an employee and his supervisor we're dealing with. We stood around waiting for about 15 minutes. Nobody acknowledged us or said they would be with us in a minute even though several employees walked by. Finally, we started walking away to pick a couple of other items we needed. Then one of the employees who had passed us numerous times without acknowledging us chased us down and told us he had just called someone for us. He pointed us in her direction but when I walked over to her and told her I was ready to make a purchase, she told me she was with another customer. There were no customers in site. By this time we were more than a little annoyed. We went and picked up our other items then returned to the appliance department to see if we could try again. This time there was no one in sight. I looked around the aisles and waited by the computer station for about 10 minutes. Not a soul appeared. Finally, I CALLED THE STORE to see if I could get some help. No one answered. By this time we were done!!! We walked out. I went to Home Depot where they were more than happy to help. I gladly spent over $2K on my new appliances. Sad situation with this store. Very few workers in store to help customers. The few they have will not help. I went to buy a wheel barrow, which are all outside. The cashier says they dont carry what i wanted. I said its outside. She said for me to go out and write down the item code. I said get someone else to do it. She said they dont have anyone. So, i went and did it. She said i got the wrong code, so back outside again. It rang up. She then said she would have someone come and unlock them. My 6 year old looked at her and said, "i thought you did not have anyone who could help?" Amen. We bought a Yeti cooler before the hurricane through online pick up. It was picked quickly and we were in and out. The next day, we went to use it but realized there was no stopper so we went back to the store. The lady at the counter immediately processed a return and handed us a receipt without saying anything. When we told her we wanted an exchange because the product was missing a part, she flat out said, "We don't do exchanges." Weird okay, so then we asked if she could replace the part that was missing from another product because we still wanted it. "We don't do that. If you want it, go find someone to get it down and then go stand in line again" is what we were then told. The line was wrapped around and we already waited. She clearly had no interest in providing customer service, wanted to lie about policies, and had a flat out nasty attitude, so instead we accepted our money back that she had already processed and spent it at Dicks sporting goods down the road who were more than happy to provide assistance. We'll be sure to avoid this Lowes from now on because it's just been one too many experiences like this. read more

February 23 I ordered a 15 cubic chest freezer because they did not have anything close to that size in stock , and I was told that is would be here in 5 to 7 days . Called yesterday March 1st. and was told that it was in the store , went to Lowes today March 2nd. and waited 2 hrs. while they supposedly looked for it . 2 hrs. later was told that it has not been delivered to the store yet , meanwhile my food in my old freezer is defrosting all over the floor , very disappointed in the service I think Wall Mart has better service , you think they care ? Wow, you spend $10,000+ at Lowe's in 2018 and have a stack of receipts that would choke a horse. Most of the time you have them scan "my Lowe's card" so they have records of what you bought and when you go to return something that's brand new and unopened and can't find the receipt; because it's "a high value $65.00, high theft item" they can't over ride the system to issue store credit...... So much for doing business with Lowe's any longer. There's the orange box along with several other hardware stores where you may pay a tad bit more but receive better more informed information from the staff and customer satisfaction is always desired. Now let me head over to Ritters hardware and spend the couple of hundred dollars I was going to spend at Lowe's today. Ordered 3 separate items on Black Friday and chose in-store pick up to avoid delivery fees. I received emails telling me my order was ready to be picked up, but when I went I had to wait for 2.5 hours as they "looked for my packages" only to be told they sold them to someone else and that there is nothing they can do about it. They told me there was no guarantee that it would be in by Christmas and then had the nerve to ask me to drive to Baytown to pick up my items there. When I laughed at them and told them they had lost their minds they told me "next time you should just pay the delivery fee and have it shipped to your house." Absolutely no customer service. After spending over 15k on new appliances- our fridge was unable to be hooked up to the water supply and even though we paid for recycling the truck was too full to pick up our fridge. I took the day off from work and was told to call Lowe's to reschedule. I was put into a cycling loop for two hours where people didn't answer the phone. I physically went to the store and waited an hour and a half for customer service to contact delivery services. I was told shera (sp?)manager of delivery services was in the bull pen and too busy to help me. Finally a random floor supervisor was found and rescheduled a pick up with possible water hook up for the fridge 5 days later and told me u needed to take another day off work!!! My husband called corporate who could not get ahold of delivery or anyone remotely involved. They were able to distantly manually override delivery and had the recycling and water hook up come the next day. I've been a customer at Lowe's for 15yrs in multiple states but I'm done here. Linda T. Lumberton, TX I have had the worst experience with this store I have ever had with a company. I ordered two window through their on-line website on January 23, 2021. I received conformation number and and order number. The windows were to be delivered to Lowes for pick up by February 15. The windows still have have not arrived. In calling the store, they have used COVID, the local Freeze as reasons for not arriving. They said they could not tract the product because it was not ordered in store. Then they told me it was in some warehouse in Houston, but they did not know which one. They said they ract it to Houston, but could not tract which warehouse. They wanted me to call and see is XBO or some such company warehouse had the windows and they gave me a number to call The company said they only had a door for Beaumont Lowes. These conversations took place over a week and a half trying to locate my windows. I called Lowes Customer service 2 and they issued a reference case and said I would be contacted within 24 hours. I was contacted, but they had no clue where my windows were except somewhere in Houston, Gave me number to call a warehouse that may have windows. They did not. Waited 2 days and called Customer Service again, same general story--will be contacted again if not by 6:30 3-4-21 call them back. A manager did call, but only said windows in some warehouse in Houston, wanted me to call and see if there. I told him, "I bought windows through your company in good faith to be delivered to your store for pick-up. You call and locate my windows. He said ok and he would call be back. I still h have not heard back from him. I am not surprised by this, the only time I have had a call back is when Customer Service contacted the local store about this problem. The local store even told me that since I order the item and it was in my name, they could not call and ask about it. This makes no sense since it was to be delivered to their store, then I would be contacted to come pick it up. So the store was the destination therefore they were the ones to follow up on deliver and should know where it is located. For all of the above reasons, I would not advise anyone to use Lowes, especial there on-line ordering through their web site. read more

Took 7 weeks to get a door the installer when he finally showed up did a half ass job leaving the whole entire door open with no glass and some plastic over it so when ever it rained it would get in my new house the installer never called us never communicated in the slightest to give us updates. They said he would be out yesterday at noon and he never showed, he didn't show the day before or the day before that he'd been missing for days. And trying to get answers from those idiots lowes calls capable employees is impossible. I have been waiting since dec 18th for 3 different people to call me back after they have no idea why nobody has been out to the residence to assess for a hot water. Went by there at about 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon. We are starting to remodel the house and was shopping for the materials. COULD NOT GET ANY ASSOCIATES TO HELP US FIND ANYTHING. Nobody approached us to help and when we would find an associate and ask if they had items, they would just say " on the other side of the store ". Tried to get help at the paint Dept and they called several times over the speakers but nobody ever came. Asked about cabinets but nobody knew anything about them. I cannot begin to tell you how much I regret doing a large installation project with this store. The sales guy, of course, is great, because he can promise everything. The installation and follow up, however, are terrible. After a month, we are still waiting on an inspector to come so we can remove the labels from our windows. No one EVER returns a call, and of course, you know how they never answer in the first place. I went into the store to try to schedule a meeting with the manager so that I can get our project FINISHED, and was told he doesn't schedule meetings and he obviously doesn't return calls, either. AVOID LOWE'S AT ALL COSTS. Especially store #0095 on Dowlen Rd. in Beaumont, TX. The new cabinets we ordered took over 3 months to arrive and sat in our garage for over a month before being installed. This delayed the installation of our countertops & flooring by months. An issue, but not that big of a deal. I mean, we've been eating ramen & making grilled cheese on a hot plate for the last 5 months, what's a couple more, right? But they never brought the cabinets inside, we had to do that ourselves. Gouged a door & nearly killed one of the dogs in the process, but so goes the perils of kitchen remodeling. Still not the issue. Once our cabinets were finally installed we ordered a new trash compactor from the same Lowe's (#0095) on Dowlen Rd in Beaumont, TX, that said it would be delivered in 10 days. It arrived over a month later. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? ANYONE? ANYONE? BUELLER? The compactor didn't fit into the cabinets designed AND installed by Lowe's. After texting & calling the Lowe's design center & general contractor every other day for A MONTH the cabinet was finally fixed (the repair took less than 30 minutes). But, STILL not the issue. We plugged the compactor in & it worked :) until it didn't :( On the 3rd use the compactor got jammed with hardly any trash in it. Then we smelled burning metal. It did this 3 separate times. Take it back, we don't want it. So what's the issue you ask, besides the laundry list of complaints mentioned above??? THAT'S RIGHT! It's been over 30 days since Lowe's delivered the trash compactor & now they won't give a refund. TA-DA! We couldn't test the trash compactor during the 30 days after delivery because LOWE'S wouldn't come out to repair the cabinets that they MEASURED, DESIGNED & INSTALLED INCORRECTLY, meaning we had no way to install the trash compactor to test it, so we're left holding the bag. WE DON'T EVEN WANT A REFUND!!! We want a different trash compactor from a different manufacturer & to pay the difference. Lowe's isn't out any money. All they have to do is send the current trash compactor back to the manufacturer & state that it's defective. NOPE...not according to Jorge, the MOD (Manager On Duty) of Lowe's Store #0095 on Dowlen Rd. in Beaumont, TX. It's our problem, not Lowe's. Even Lowe's corporate customer service couldn't believe the store was acting this way. With the money we've spent at this store over the last 6 months for home repairs & they treat us like this? By saving a few hundred dollars & practicing EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, they've lost $1000's (maybe $10,000's) from us in future purchases. Actually, with a credit towards a new trash compactor that we will pay the difference for, not only are they NOT losing money, they're failing to MAKE MORE money!!! Horrible customer service experience! These people are totally ineffective. I walked down the isle with the store clerk and picked an exterior door they had in stock. She showed me a nice exterior door that would work just fine. I ordered the door, paid a service charge of $35 for a contractor to measure the existing door and frame. I was advised that this fee was gong to be applied to the installation cost that was supposed to have been $269 over the price of the door. I was willing to pay this for what might be a few hours work. A week later, I went back into the store and asked about the status because I was advised their contractor was going to contact me, but I never heard back. This is when they let me know the installation costs were actually going to be ~$570, not the originally promised $269. Nice bait and switch, but I bought in anyway because I had a busy month of travel ahead of me. After another week of waiting with no indication that the door was going to be installed or explanation as to why, I called in again while I was out of town. This time I was advised that the door was going to be installed in the upcoming week. When I got back into town, I learned without surprise at this point that the door was never installed, and again - no communication as to the status or if the door would ever be installed. I was traveling a lot and went out of town again. During this 3rd week, I must've had a dozen calls with at least three separate representatives from Lowes (them calling me and visa-versa) asking various questions and requesting my credit card number advising that it was never charged originally or during previous calls. I returned to town after 4 weeks and could only hope the door was installed after the last call promising it would be installed on the Friday that I return. It wasn't. They also stopped calling me after the 3rd week of confusing calls. Remember, this was an item that is in inventory on their shelf and I picked it out with the representative while I was in the store 4 weeks earlier. I have come to accept that I'm simply not getting the door installed by Lowes and their contractor. I returned to the store to demand my full refund and was advised that they want to work this out, and after apologizing and promising to call me with a resolution, I acquiesced. I still need a door after all. Whelp, that was a few days ago and I haven't heard back from them since then. Seriously. I'm sure that at this point it is my fault for continuing to do business with such an inept group. Btw, they apparently still haven't refunded my credit card although I stood with them early on Saturday and watched what I thought was the transaction. I don't know why my credit card hasn't yet been refunded, but I will return again for a full refund. Never again will I trust Lowes in Beaumont to give me a price for work or to schedule anything. They couldn't handle installing a door from inventory. That's all it is. I know that's not asking too much within 4 weeks. Lowe's does not actually do any flooring installation work...it is "ALL" contracted out...nation wide...and they only use "ONE" contractor...which is Keller Interiors, Inc....another nationwide company...Keller Interiors, Inc...in turn hires area sub-contractor flooring companies, (in my case Creative Solutions), and the flooring sub-contractors farm out the actual installation to other flooring contractors, companies, Joe Blow's, Chuck's With A Truck, etc. Long story short...Creative Solutions and/or Keller Interiors, Inc. and/or Lowe's (Beaumont/Corporate) grossly inflated what was needed to complete my flooring needs by nearly 100%. Creative Solutions and Keller Interiors make their money through excessive labor charges per sq ft, and misc installation products...and Lowe's makes their money by selling the customer more flooring material that is needed. A Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint has been filed by me (#520556) against Lowe's Corp...as of 12/1/2017 (3 weeks) the complaint has yet to be addressed by Lowe's Corp. I have made waves at Lowe's Corp and the local Beaumont, TX store. How do I know...just take a look at the Lowe's Home Improvement Corp FaceBook (FB) page...the RANT&RAVE section...you'll find 3 detailed postings by me...sorry, but you have to wade through nearly 100+ RANTS to find mine...because that is how many complaints Lowe's has received just recently. In addition all the FB postings I made to the Lowe's Corp page were copied to the local Beaumont...Store #95...FB page. And to top it off I ended up having to go to the Beaumont store, because Lowe's will not answer the phone when called. I was there for 1 hour and 20 mins at the Customer Service desk waiting to talk to a manager...Jamie Lundquist (an assistant manager)...after he had been paged over the stores intercom...and direct calls to his phone...a total of 3 times...and Jamie L. nor the stores head manager...never responded. Save your time and money...do business with a store that appreciates you as a customer...not someone that only appreciates your money. read more
