Instead of turning me away like any other store would do, they told me to come in and asked what I needed help finding. In under five minutes someone ushered me to the correct department, picked out the right wrench. and I was checked out, and on my way out of there. The friendliness, helpfulness, and hospitality of the group at M&D is second to none!

Marvin and Kathy are great people and have really expanded their business in the last 20+ years! They now offer all kinds of different flavors of coffee that you can try on your visit. They have a great selection of Lodge Cookware and many other things including grills, fire pits, and fish fryers. After moving away I could always count on them to ship my phone or online orders for pocket knives on time for gifts or personal use. walk in, 4 people behind the counter looked directly at me then went back to talking to each other…read morewhile I stood at the counter and waited for them to finish their conversation about the night before. ordered my lumber, drove to the back to have it loaded. one set of employees had a forklift in front of where my lumber was and refused to move it for the other employees to pull my lumber and load it on my trailer. once they finally loaded my lumber, I noticed they had put my lumber on the top rail of the trailer towards my vehicle so it would hit when I turned. trying to give them the benefit of a doubt, I figure they were inexperienced and just didn't realize what would happen. after asking them to put it level on the trailer so it wouldn't hit my vehicle. I just got stared at and they walked off. it was 4 pieces of lumber so I just slid it down myself, strapped it down. the forklift was still in the way so i had to back through the warehouse in order to leave. I would have been better off making the drive to Beaumont. Don't go here unless you absolutely have no other options whatsoever.
