So, this time, I decided to go to MVD Express for my Real ID driver license update and my teenage daughter's Real ID provisional license. Despite not having the correct proofs of residency, the staff helped me for half an hour locate the proper state-mandated proofs of residency documents, and they did so with a genuine friendliness and patience that surprised me. I was able to bring up various documents from the cloud on my smartphone, and when I found the ones that the state would accept, the assistants at MVD Express provided an email address to mail them to so that they received them right away, saving me an hour round trip home and back as well as scanning and copying fees. Another plus: I never had to wait more than two minutes for someone to answer my many questions despite going back and forth from the desk to my chair. The office was well-staffed, and during the time I was there, people were assisted almost as soon as they walked through the door. The nicest one by far was Dima. At the end of a long day and workweek, she maintained a sunny disposition, and despite how long the process took to upload our documents, she chatted with us amiably and celebrated each document's successful submission with a cheerful "awesome!" She understood how stressful the whole Real ID process was, so her positive attitude made a big difference. About 45 minutes and $40 later, my daughter and I bade Dima farewell and left MVD Express with our temporary licenses and a smile. Getting your federal Real ID driver's license requires a lot of organization, preparation, and patience. And that's just the part BEFORE you get to the DMV. Make your experience a painless one rather than a traumatic one and skip the state DMV offices. Make a beeline for MVD Express instead. You'll be glad you did. It is more than worth the small fee to be treated with respect.

Granted, I…read morehad a complicated situation - I bought a trailer but later learned there were issues with the title. Three MVD Express locations and AAA's registration department COULD NOT HELP ME register my trailer! They each gave me the run around on all kinds of paperwork I needed... BUT... Rapid MVD on 10701 Corrales Rd NW was AMAZING. The person I worked with was Michael S. Uristole and his grandson who was in training. Both men were amazingly relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Michael went the extra (ten) miles for me and made calls to North Carolina and politely coaxed a dealer there to write up a documents we needed! He was patient and thoughtful and very neighborly. YES, I paid his fees (they were not cheap, but they were not more than he told me they would be. And there were a whole bunch of other fees, AND they charge 2.99% for any form of payment other than cash. But they made this clear upfront, so it was not a surprise - I was expecting it and willingly paid it, after all the stonewalling from the other places, this was a welcome relief.) All in all it cost a lot more than it would have at the regular MVD. However, I am SOOOOOOO grateful to Michael and grandson for taking care of this for me. It was well worth the pricey payment to have this long standing, seemingly impossible task completed. I would recommend this Rapid MVD to anyone who has a complicated situation and wants friendly service from knowledgeable folks. Yes, you will pay for this, but if you need this kind of assistance, it is well worth it.

I have had trouble every single time I went, for example getting license plate from Phoenix to Taos.....with my immigration status to get a license eventhough my paperwork was in order.....they refuse to help you and send you on a wild chase and DON'T HELP U! AS IF THEY GET THRU JOLLIES REJECTING YOU! AND THIRD I'd told myself one last time I'll try them. I was told I failed my eyes test!!! Go to ur doctors and come back again with this form and set up another appointment! Well on the same day I said the hell with this!! I drove to mvd santa fe on the same day and same contacts(new contacts only 4 months old) and guess what!!!! Some b.s. the dam letters on the eye test were the SAME!!!!! IF THE MACHINE IS NOT WORKING in taos, FIX IT! I couldn't believe it!!! What a waste of services and 4 other people were at s.f. mvd thatblive in taos and at mvd santa fe, what a shocker the people there also said the same thing!!!
