My husband recently bought a 2002 Maserati Cambriocorsa and had to replace a couple of things. He was considering taking the car to Denver for the work. My 1988 Alfa Spider lost its clutch. I thought for sure that it needed a new clutch. It didn't. The master cylinder needed to be replaced. They did find a few other items which needed repair. I was very happy with their service, communication, and price. That they detailed my car was much appreciated. Note: Executive is open during the pandemic. They will arrange a no contact delivery. Marcus will take you for everything you got and then some. I won't call him the worse independent in Santa Fe since there are some real jewels around but I wouldn't trust Marcus nor his mechanics. Also, be extremely careful if you're taking your car for any kind of service when rent is due, a flat could turn into 4 new tires and a complete tune-up, Marcus has to pay his rent ;-) As always, buyer beware. read more

Everyone knows there are a LOT of bad auto mechanics out there. I have prior professional knowledge of the horrifying ethics that are sadly prevalent in this industry. It's really true: you should assume that the typical service center's primary objective is to make as much money off of you as possible. Executive Auto is exceptional. I am in town to shop for a Sprinter van for a project and I brought the vehicle here for a pre-purchase inspection. I was greeted promptly. The write-up and service proceeded expeditiously. I happened to get the owner as my service writer. He set an excellent example for knowledgeable, honest, prompt, and good-natured service. The invoice was very reasonable considering that they are a high end shop, servicing exotic brands, models, and motorcycles. The interior was clean, comfortable, well-appointed. There are posters for local track days, a map with great local rides marked out in pen, racing shoes for sale. It's clear these people are gearheads who have a passion for wheels. The tech who did the inspection Marc, happened to be the shop foreman. After rapping about my project van/adventure vehicle the owner pulled an article featuring a Mercedes G Wagon converted into a round-the-world expedition vehicle. And yup, Marc did the work. After the inspection was over, I got a very thorough walk through of the issues, and follow-on research into outstanding issues was volunteered. Wow! This place is a gem. No, I haven't had them do any maintenance or repair yet but next time I need some I'll want to drive to Santa Fe from San Francisco to get it done here. My Car: Mercedes S500 My Issue: Passenger Rear Air Bag Leak My Home: Las Vegas, NV I enjoy road trips, so I drove from Las Vegas to Santa Fe, to visit my friend. Upon waking, the next morning, I noticed that my Mercedes rear end was sitting low on the back. I went to Executive Automotive to have my car inspected/repaired before my 725 mile long drive back to Las Vegas. The Shop was busy, but Markus and Sal were gracious enough to get me in for an inspection. They topped off my fluids, checked my tires PSI's and a few other things. I was able to make it back to Vegas, with no issues. As a single adult lady, visiting an automotive shop can be a little intimidating, but here at Executive Automotive, I was treated with kindness, respect and when I drove away, I knew I would make it back home to Vegas, safely. -Nothing like peace of mind. We had a great experience today with Sal and his team at Executive Auto in Santa Fe, NM. Yesterday an engine check light came on in our Audi on our way from TX to Washington. We went to the website last night, explained we were traveling through Santa Fe for one night, and asked for an appointment this morning. They called us first thing and asked us to come in at 10:00. I am so impressed with this place! After a series of nightmare experiences at the Mercedes dealership in Albuquerque, my experience today with Executive Automotive was such a welcome change. My engine light was on and the code indicated vapor system problem. Salvatore performed a check - he explained everything very thoroughly and clearly (I know next to nothing about cars) and ended up telling me that he didn't think anything was wrong, and I did not need a repair. He did not charge me a dime, and even refused to accept the tip I offered, which he definitely deserved. I know that had I brought this issue to the dealership, they would have charged me hundreds and I never would have questioned it. I will definitely be bringing my Mercedes here for all my service needs, as well as recommending to friends. So glad I found this place! read more

Executive Automotive is a group of con artists. I think these supposedly glowing reviews are fake. I have a Range Rover which is six years old and has low mileage. It had never had a single problem until the minute I took it there. After getting my annual service at this place (which I waited three hours even though they said it would take one hour just to change the oil). I drove away and the "check coolant" light immediately came on, and kept coming on for the next few days. I took it back in and they confirmed the coolant container was broken, but they had the nerve to insist the coolant container did break while it was there with them! They swear it must have broken spontaneously the second I drove away from their shop. The biggest liars in Santa Fe. read more

$880 (including tax) to change thermostat, clear a code, do an oil change, and front pads/rotor change. 2 hours at $95/hr to do a 30 minute thermostat change and coolant fill is criminal. $63 for the oil change? $94 for the $40 brake pads? $40 more for "shop supplies"? My wife and I were driving my 2009 Porsche Cayenne S from Boulder Colorado to Santa Fe when we started ago hear a loud knocking under the car. We immediately pulled over and called our Porsche garage in Boulder. We were advised that it was clearly a crankshaft problem but we could drive on into Santa Fe if we drove carefully. We then looked up (Googled) Porsche repair garages in Santa Fe and called Executive Automotive. We got lucky. They confirmed the diagnosis of a crankshaft problem and asked us to drive to the shop when we got into town. The shop was clean and organized and everyone we spoke with was clearly competent. They inspected the crankshaft and showed us the deteriorated rubber gasket, which had completely disintegrated. They ordered the part on Friday afternoon and we drove the car in on Monday morning. The work was completed in 2 hours and the charge was very reasonable considering. I would give this business my highest and unqualified recommendation. They are very knowledgeable and completely trustworthy IMHO. We got lucky on this one! read more

I have to share how wonderful these guys are! Halfway through a road trip from California, I managed to hit a low wall and detached half of the front apron from my car.
