Dr. Dobbs has a bit of a dry personality, but his staff was fantastic. When I called to schedule the consult, they got me in right away and anesthetized oral surgery was scheduled for the following week at my convenience. Day of surgery I was incredibly nervous because I don't trust Doctors or Dentists but Dr. Dobbs nurse, Jarra was absolutely fantastic and put me at ease! I was anesthetized and upon waking up and up until full healing after having three upper molars pulled, I never had any pain, zero issues! They fixed the cavity that had been poorly filled by the other practice and had turned into a needed root canal. The procedure was very easy and Dr.Fainberg is actually pretty funny. I appreciated their online interface making it easy for me to schedule online (someone who has anxiety about calling and making appointments - part of why I had not seen a dentist for such a prolonged time). Their online interface also allowed me to input my insurance information ahead of time so I already knew they took my insurance. I needed to get a lot of work done but I truly appreciated Dr. O'brien's professionalism. She never once made me feel guilty about not seeing a dentist in so long and she didn't make me feel ashamed of the work I inevitably needed to get done. Dr. O'brien was also very cognizant of my comfort. When I felt pain, she stopped immediately to administer more numbing so that I would be as comfortable as possible during my procedures. The office staff were also extremely kind and fun. They walked me through every little thing: my insurance, cost, what I owed. They were able to quickly accommodate my schedule and I was able to get all of my fillings done within a week of my initial appointment. Bottom line, I either took 'their' cleaning and paid the money OR would have to come back for a regular cleaning (that I scheduled the same day). How does this work?
