This is one of the worst dental offices I have ever visited. The lack of professionalism and…read moreorganization is appalling. It used to be Open and Affordable Dental. I originally was serviced at the Cherry Creek location since I lived close by. I then moved east and went to the Aurora location. Every single time I had gone there over the last few years I have had a different dentist. The team members must be playing a game of musical chairs because I do not see the same people working there when I go to get a cleaning/check-up. On my most recent visit x-rays were taken by the dental assistant, an x-ray body shield was not put on me to protect me. Not sure if that is a new process or protecting me was ignored. I feel that Just U Dental has too many shortcuts. My insurance recently changed and I was not asked about the change to update. Instead I was asked to pay out of pocket repeatedly by one of the doctors. That was the final straw that broke the camels back. I have no intention of going back and am looking for a new dental facility. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is conveniently located for me.

I make a 30 minute drive and pass many dental offices in my area. When I arrived the door was locked, as I was about to walk away a female employee opened the door and asked me what she could do for me? I informed her that I had an appointment for 10 am. I was told that they didn't do appointments on Thursdays and Ivan must of had made a mistake. She said that my appointment could be rescheduled and the earlier appointment was in mid January. I told her that was not going to work for me! She asked me if I was in pain and I replied that is why I am here and made an appointment. Personally I would had thought that would had been in their system seeing how Ivan and I had talked about all my oral problems. She looked in their system again and stated she had an opening for next Tuesday. I said no thanks I will find someone else because, due to the pain mostly but wasting my time I don't feel I want to take my chances with them. The main reason I picked Retro Dental Group is this is the company that took over for my past dentist which was the best IMHO. When I got home I looked on their website for their hours and this is what I found today. Address: 2993 S. Peoria Street Aurora, CO 80014 Phone: 303-696-6979 Email: retro.dental.aurora@gmail.com Practice Hours Mon: 7 am to 6 pm Tue: 7 am to 6 pm Wed: 7 am to 6 pm Thu: 7 am to 6 pm Fri: 8 am to 12 pm Sat-Sun: Closed I can't find where they are not seeing patients today. It is Thursday and it says on their website 7 am to 6 pm. How can I trust someone doing work in my mouth if they can not even update their website and give someone the right information so the patients time is not wasted? Seeing how it said they were open on their website and a google search I called them again. I talked to Barb and asked her why it in fact said they were open today. Her reply to me is that she is not in charge of the website and they are open for Admin stuff and to take calls and make appointments. This has to be the worst communication I have seen in my 52 yrs of life. Total disregard for my time and oral needs!

This place is genuinely shit straight from the butt. These…read morepeople are scammers. I cannot emphasize enough how much you should not come here, I should've known all their google reviews were bought/too good to be true. First off, everyone in there has a nasty ass attitude. When I had called prior to see if they took my insurance the lady hung up on me and screened the calls. Then when my boyfriend called on his phone suddenly their phone answers immediately?? Second, I get to the door and they said to text somebody to let you in. Nobody replies to me and some random dude let me in, so sketchy. Now when I showed up I kept asking if they took my insurance and they didn't confirm. MULTIPLE TIMES they wouldn't tell me if they'd take my insurance. They didn't tell me anything until after they took the x ray. Also? They didn't even address the problems going in my mouth, I had to. I came in because I had popped a filling on a root canal and cracked the tooth and my primary dentist couldn't fit me in that week. These bitches quoted me $8k for a removal and a crown. Hello ?? I'd rather lose a damn tooth than pay a down payment on a car. I went to my primary dentist this week and got that shit FIXED under 30 minutes and it was $18. Anyways long story short, this place is weird as hell and you're better off literally anywhere else. I called my insurance day of the visit and they basically confirmed that these mfs didn't cough up the coverage numbers correctly. I filed a claim with my bank to dispute that exam fee and got my money back, and I advise yall to do the same if you end up with these whack ass lames.
