Baker, the come in right away scheduling and great bedside manners. I found an amazing friend/doctor. Then something changed. Around 18 months ago I was left in an examination room waiting for over 2 hours to see the doctor. They forgot me! The young assistants total messed up. I didn't want to loose a great doctor so I stayed with him. The concierge charge of $100 was imposed. I paid. Dr. I. Baker started rushing the visits. The factory, assembly line, examinations began. I work in an environment where germs run rampant and I need urgent care 3-4 times a year for common colds, etc. The convenience of having multiple locations in Baker Health network avaliable even on Sundays was amazing. However, I noticed more changes when seeing other doctors in his network when Dr. I. Baker was not available. I felt like I was being interrogated. HE RED FLAGGED ME ON NJPMP after he prescribed me certain medication for my illness instead of treating me properly and prescribing alternate meds. On my last visit he entered the examination room with 5 young assistants and the scribe, 6 total, and began the examination stating "what am I there for"? Someting was WAY OFF! I told him I had a really bad head cold. Got my ZPAC script and got out of the hell out of there. Get this..... prior to cutting him off the concierge fee went up to $200, I couldn't get a human on the phone to schedule until I paid another now $200 memnerahip fee. That was 2 months ago, April, 2026. Funny things is I just paid the $100 membership fee December 2025. That should be good for 1 year. Should I go back for a refund? Why waste anymore of my time. That is not a professional establishment anymore. WHAT HAPPENED.!!! I'm a professional who has had his reputation compromised by a red flag he raised. Totally unprofessional. I WISH I NEVER MET DR. IYAD BAKER.

Care is top notch. the doctors have tremendous education and training, everyone has excellent bedside manners, most live in the uws and have young kids themselves. Finding the right pediatrician is so important and we've been exceptionally happy here for almost 4…read moreyears. Dr. Gati is our pediatrician and she is truly exceptional. You know when you can just tell someone cares? I am an anxious parent and I feel so seen when I have medical concerns. To say we ADORE her is an understatement. Our girls are always excited to see her and she's just so warm and kind to them. Our middle child had strabismus and Dr. Gati noticed a few signs when she was a baby and referred us to a top pediatric eye doctor before it was even the typical age to be diagnosed. With her suggestion we were able to work towards treating it much earlier than most. Dr. Gati also knows our family so well. We have a newborn and she had some redness on her eyes and Dr. Gati knew without looking at her records or notes that our oldest has severe food allergies and was quick to suggest the reaction could be due to food allergies given the history and suggested I keep a food log to see if this could be the culprit. I feel like most doctors would have just brushed it off but she knew to look holistically. The practice itself is also just a really special place. When our daughter got bit by a dog at the park I called a few minutes before they closed for the day for guidance. Some of the staff and a doctor offered to stay a few minutes late so our daughter could be seen in a familiar place instead of directing us to urgent care. With three kids we have our fair share of sick visits so we've seen all of the doctors at this point and have never had a bad experience. All of these doctors are wonderful, thorough and passionate. I could honestly go on and on about the ways they have helped us and gone above and beyond. MVP is truly an exceptional practice and we love them so much!

We've seen a few different doctors (sometimes we aren't able to see his PCP) and everyone is very knowledge, cordial and kind. The nurses are all great and attempt to calm my son down who get a a bit nervous as he's only 2.5 (he started seeing his doctor at 18 months when we moved to NYC). At times during afternoon visits when they're busier the wait time can be a little long but that's fine. We are patient and things work out.
