I checked into the office at 10:55am and was called to be seen at 12:15pm. Yes that it a whole 1 hour and 20 minute wait. I asked why so long of a wait and they said they were busy. I've been to other medical offices like this for the same thing and when the waiting rooms were full, I was seen within 20 to 30 mins of check in. I chose this place because I was referred by someone. The office itself is nice and clean in appearance with a pleasant staff, and a large screen tv in the waiting room for your eyeball pleasure. Completely disgusted with the behavior of the staff here today. My best friend came in today sick as hell. Showed up with her negative covid test stating she could not breathe and was having pain when trying to breathe and was very ill. She was told by staff they would not see her and she had to leave because she had covid symptoms. She again told them she was negative and showed her results and said she needed to be seen because she was very sick. They refused to see her. So I had her go to my urgent care. She was seen and told she had pneumonia. If she would she just went home she could have died. As a health care facility and having doctors and nurses who take a oath to help anyone injured or sick this is COMPLETELY AND UTERLY DISGUSTING! We will be reporting this for sure! I highly recommend not coming here. Very unprofessional service. They do not explain things clearly at all. I go for my visit. I get a referral. Call the company they asked me to call. The referred company has no idea who I am because they did not send them anything. The company asks that I call them back to send in my referral form. I did that. Instead Vista sends my entire medical registration. I'm now in contact with the proper officials for a HIPPA VIOLATION. In the middle of me explaining the issue to a supervisor she interrupts me. I respond "I appreciate your interruption but I'm not finished" She became offended that I told her I appreciate her interrupting me...think about that. She became irate and did not help me. I have called the office multiple times and have been hung up on, and put on hold while speaking to staff. Went into this location to be checked by a doctor and hopefully receive a note that I am for for work duties with restrictions after my appendectomy last Saturday. The staff refused to see me for evaluation. I have PPO insurance and was told by my manager to get evaluated quicker than the 2 weeks my follow up appointment with the performing surgeon is scheduled for due to me feeling great and not having to take any pain meds. This way I wouldn't have to not work and make money for 2 weeks. To be denied even being evaluated by a physician is ridiculous. Will never be going back to this office again. read more

I have been coming here for a few years and I always have the pleasure of interacting with the receptionists. Becky always goes over and beyond to accommodate my needs, especially dealing with insurance companies and being on hold which none of us like to do but she multi tasks and patiently waits on hold to resolve my insurance issues (which has happened a few times) We don't give enough credit to people who help us out. Let me start by saying I've been coming here since they pretty much opened so the customer service a received from one of the Medical Assistants was pathetic to say the worst I checked in and got taken to the back for vitals almost immediately after paying the receptionist. I sat in the room until MELISSA; the unprofessional Medical / Billing Assistant rushed in and without as much as a hi began to tell me they could not do anything for me because of my insurance (which she didn't even have my insurance information correct, yet it was right on my file) but she was in such a rush to get me to leave that she couldn't even get herself to get my information correct. In her, cannot be bothered attitude began to tell me that she would take me to the front because urgent care could not help me get my finger checked. This location has officially lost my whole families visit. PS. My father in law came here earlier this week and the doctor called to give him results of a urine test that he never even took. be careful giving them your information because they'll disclose HIPAA protected information to whoever they well please. There is nothing urgent about this Urgent care center. Took almost 2 hours before we saw anyone. Staff wasn't that great either with complete lack of customer service and communication about the wait time. There new location in Eastvale also didn't have an x-ray tech on-site and seemed understaffed and that's why we had to come to the Corona location. The front staff at Eastvale location couldn't give a straight answer about whether they were in the network or not with my insurance group. Better to see your primary doctor if it's not really urgent otherwise go to another better urgent care. read more

It's the times of covid. I forgot my mask and the front desk MA on Maria Castillo's side asked if I had a mask. I said I didn't have one, but thought they would offer it to their patients. I asked if they had any extra masks, and she said "Sorry, no. There's a pharmacy next door." This is a medical office and you're telling me you have no masks available for your patients if needed? I work in the medical field, at a medical office and we offer masks to our patients. I also have done my clinicals at the hospitals and they too offer masks to both our patients and employees. And this medical office doesn't? What type of medical clinic is this where you can't offer a simple mask to your patients in the case that they need one if they forget? read more

Do not go to the Urgent care here if you don't have an appointment! They will send you out and tell you that you will have a phone consultation. I was there at exactly 8:00 am, shortness of breath, coughing and they said the Dr would call me in 20 minutes since I was the first one there. Here I am waiting at 9:30, still no call. I called back and they said, well our office is full now and we take these patients first!? Wth? I was there you sent me out!? It makes no sense! She is so caring, efficient and has THE best bed side manners! I don't feel like I'm just a number to her or just another patient, she loves what she does and that's to help people everyday! The office is okay the service was not bad. However I disliked that when I asked them what was my copay with insurance they said it was no copay. After 2 doctor Visits I get a bill I was not expecting! When I called to ask regarding the bill the lady couldn't even explain the damn bill and just demanded I pay it. I told her my email to send a copy of receipt for my records and guess what till now never got one. One other thing to mention the first time I called to make a doc appointment I was on hold for 20 mins or more before someone helped me. No complain on doc she was good, but sadly wasn't able to prescribe me the correct medication that worked well with me. read more

I went in this morning on a walk-in basis. My primary care physician was not in today. I was overall impressed for a first time visit. I completed their paperwork for a new patient and gave a urine sample. I didn't wait long to see the physician assistant. She was pleasant and professional. She prescribed some antibiotics and notified my pharmacy. The staff also seemed to be nice. I was in and out in about an hour. I see there are negative posts here and don't discount their experience. But I would recommend someone coming here. read more

Dr Azar has been my primary family doctor for 7 years. His service is exceptional as he always cares for his patients and provide a heartwarming experience. I recommend him to anybody- as he is a doctor that I trust and has great knowledge. I called ahead to check the wait time for urgent care. The person who answered the phone said it was about 45 minutes. When I got there, it was probably about 40 minutes before I was called back and was seen within 10 minutes. I came in for a cortisone shot and the PA who saw me was super nice. I think it may have been Victoria? She had asked her colleague, Carrington, for assistance with the shot and it was a good thing she did. I felt a bit uneasy after the shot, but they took care of me and got me back to normal within a few minutes. They made sure they answered any questions I had and that I was knowledgeable of the treatment I was getting. They were both very friendly and had a sense of humor, which I appreciated. read more

Just waited 2 1/2 hours when I noticed only 4 people in front of me. They seem to not want to help customers. I only needed antibiotics ... way to long to wait. I then went inside and the nurse practitioner was only in there maybe three minutes prescribed what I needed so I did get out of there quickly after that then I go to the pharmacy because they told me it was ready and she sent over a wrong prescription in the wrong amount so my insurance company wouldn't cover it only if it was a different amount so then I called to have her fix it and I was told it might not be fixed because she is to busy. I explained to them how I waited there for two hours waiting for her and she messed up. They didn't care pretty much said there are people ahead of you. I even have my primary doctor there so I will now be switching everything this place has no care for there patients. read more

I got very sick and had a sore throat, ear pain and could hardly talk. I tested positive for Covid. I called the office on Saturday and was told they just closed and to call Sunday. I called Sunday and had to leave a message, explaining my situation. I was too weak to drive myself to the ER as I could not swallow and was in intense pain. After not hearing from anyone, I sent an email to the office the next day, again explaining my situation, but by that time I was already noticing a slight improvement, but hoping a doctor could still give me some help. The point is that I never heard back from the office, and it's been almost 2 weeks. I did receive a message from the office about a day ago that they were sending me a referral to an optometrist, with no mention of the messages I left regarding my illness. I have been going to Vista Medical for about 10 years now but I'm seriously thinking about changing. read more

Please see my first review below... Most recent update: Today, TEN MONTHS LATER, I received another bill in the exact same amount. Quest and I sat on a one hour call with Vista arguing. The Quest rep (who was in complete dismay of their reaction) had access to the Yelp review and saw Vista put in writing they were granting more than 50% discount, as well as my Better Business Bureau claim where they repeat the same discount would be offered. Vista now claims they have no recollection of offering me this discount. Absolutely unbelievable. They said they would email me all the documentation they have thus far. I'm not stupid. They were very careful not to put in any email anything regarding this discount, but they did write it on here and in the BBB claim. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Very poor management and communication skills by the staff, and the dr Azar for not filling out a simple paper that would take not 5 minutes to fill out. Staff told wife that she could not fax paper work cause it may get lost, that she would have to come in two specific dates to have it filled out by the dr on those dates. So, I messed work for wife to go and get it signed only to be told to leave the paper 2 days to have it signed by dr... what?!... now wouldn't the paper get lost then?, like the fax... I was there, would have only took under 5 minutes to copy what the other paper work had and sign... damn, this is poor business. You guys suck!... thanks for wasting a day of my pay Thank you Liz O, I hope so, you know in these busy times that we all have and I have had my share of being busy in an office myself... I had never put someone off that arrived at our office to tell them that they would have to wait for their information to take place at another time if it had to do with minor paperwork when that customer was there already... honestly, I would have signed that paperwork for them if I knew it was as simple as that. Drs care and work with my mother in-law is great, but you guys in the office should have a little leeway in certain circumstances like the one we had yesterday. read more

I don't ever give reviews but I really felt disgusted by my experience with the staff/receptionists out-front at this location on the medical office side. The doctor we saw was great, friendly and prompt. I liked her a lot! So this is no reflection on the doctors here. We were referred here because of my ex-husbands insurance but the reviews I read before hand concerned me. The staff should be trained on customer service and manners. If you don't like what you do, it shows. I felt like a beggar asking for free food instead of a patient who has insurance needing medical attention! People come in to see a doctor because they don't feel good or there are issues causing concern so they need comfort and compassion. There should be a certain length of time that makes sense for follow up with your patients or after-visit needs. There were none for us. I've never experienced this with any of my other doctors. On my visit, I had to call for the result of my daughters leg for blood clots. They said around 3-5 days, I gave them a full week and It was like I was an inconvenience to her trying to get results. I asked about the referral for the specialist and she forwarded me to someone in referrals. No answer, so I left a voice mail. 2.5 WEEKS LATER i had not received a call back or follow so I called again. The staff who answered the phone didn't even say "I'm sorry about that" Nothing! She seemed like I was being an inconvenience once again. I felt like I was trying to return something overseas. No compassion or customer service skills to defuse and soften the frustrating situation. Every one in that office is a reflection of Vista Medical Group. The staff does not care here. In person or via phone, you don't feel well taken care. This is your health and your family's health. A medical Office should make you feel like your in good hands and that they care.
