The staff is professional, extremely friendly, and genuinely attentive. They remember my preferences and little details about what I like, and that means a lot to me. It's nice to walk into a place where people know you, remember you, and treat you with respect. I also want to clear up something about any previous reviews that may have been posted on my behalf. If there are reviews under my name that were negative, those were written by someone who was acting on my behalf at the time. I want to make it clear that she did not receive bad service from Quality Optical. The issue was actually her behavior toward the staff. She was the one who was rude and disrespectful. I have been dealing with Quality Optical for years, and that one situation does not reflect my personal experience with them or how I feel about their staff. I appreciate the way Quality Optical has treated me throughout the years, and I wanted to make sure my own experience and opinion were represented accurately. I have had good experiences with them and would absolutely recommend them.

I recently experienced a product failure with my favorite frames from Bronze. The problem was resolved without delay and delivered with an apology for any inconvenience I experienced. Replacement was handled in a week and fitted the next day. I also brought in some frames I have not worn in 20 years, but wondered if they could be fit with new lenses. Bronze didn't sell me these frames, but was enthusiastic about the retro look and arranged for a quick fitting and turnaround. Warm, personal, competent, professional service. What is not to like about this place?

I liked the small, local shop feel, but I found there to be some lack of professionalism as they talked among themselves and there were even dogs allowed in the office. In my opinion that's just weird for a doctor's office unless it's a service dog. I wore a mask despite being vaccinated because that's my preference and I knew getting my eye exam and trying on glasses would require me to be up close with the doctor and techs. I was told "you don't have to wear that." It just felt unnecessary. The hallway down to the actual doctor's office was a bit untidy and then the doctor's office was pretty worn looking too. The lenses they had me look through to test my vision had some damage to them that couldn't be easily wiped off, and this made it hard for me to tell if I was getting an accurate vision test. I liked the doctor for the most part but she casually mentioned that due to my astigmatism, I have a significantly higher chance of retinol detachment, which I hadn't known and her casual tone was a bit alarming. When I tried to ask more questions I felt a little dismissed and she basically just said "don't worry about it because worrying doesn't help." I would have rather known more about the science behind her statement and it would have been nice to be given some resources. I don't think Bronze is the place for me but it does beat the long wait time at LensCrafters. I also like the idea because it's a small practice you can get to know the doctor rather than just seeing someone random like at Lenscrafters. I'll be on the lookout for a new eye doctor that accepts my insurance.

Speaking of staff, everyone I encountered was truly a professional; efficient, friendly and caring. The offices are modern and comfortably welcoming. A wonderful young woman greeted my husband and I and asked some questions. I had my RX in hand as well as my old glasses. I showed her and we talked a little about my taste, but then we started to comb through all of the cases, one by one, trying on glasses and giving opinions. I took up a LOT of her time and almost walked out of there without a pair of glasses, but then she also asked her colleague if she could try to pick out some games in similar styles, and they ended up getting me a pair of glasses that I fell in love with! Throughout the entire process they were so helpful. The doctor even assisted and provided his opinion on the glasses, which meant a lot - he seemed really involved with the sales floor. They even adjusted my husbands Warby Parkers (for a small fee) while I looked around. They sized me and ordered my glasses right away, and they arrived about four days later. I went in and the service was still amazing. They made adjustments and then gave me this little gift bag with a cleaning cloth, solution, and my glasses. The awesome thing about this place, besides the service and selection (they have mid-high end frames), was that they give a spray bottle full of eyeglass cleaner that you can bring in and continue to get refilled. Again, this is an 18 month old baby who had surgery three months ago. They have no record of the eye doctor calling their store and so I will get the text that were sent back and forth as proof. I wouldn't send anyone to this store! Let me give you a helpful hint, you want to make this right? Figure out how to do it!
