This little optical shop is great. The service is unbelievable. I really appreciated the doctor's honesty. My eyesight has diminished tremendously but she was able to get me to 20/40 with new lenses. I was leaving on a trip to the southwest and they only had a week to get my glasses and sunglasses ready and they got it done with an hour to spare before I had to leave. They did a great job and I would go back again to but a new pair of frames. In my opinion, for two lenses, a new pair of frames for sunglasses, I thought the price was very fair. read more

Cary and the doctor are nice and Cary is amazing! She truly cares about everyone that comes in. She gets bogged down with people on the floor and then has to answer the phones and doesn't want to shortcut the person that's right in front of her. I've had nothing but great experiences here. Not sure why, but they wouldn't even return my phone call. I tried to setup an appointment based on the positive reviews on Yelp, but had to move on to another company. I left my phone number twice and clearly, but no returned calls. Unfortunate. Update: Company called and explained that they were having some AT&T issues with their phone system. However, Yelp does not allow me to remove the review (my own decision), so I am left with updating it to a neutral rating as my only recourse. The gentleman seemed professional and courteous on the phone. I guess it was just bad timing for my needs. Ultimately, I have no complaints with Optique Unique. read more

These folks are hidden away almost directly behind Long Doggers on A1A. Cary did an excellent job listening to my requirements for converting my Costa fishing sunglasses to progressive lenses and called the company to confirm needs,cost and when glasses would be returned..... Cary kept me informed and while my sunglasses took longer to convert, the fact that she kept me appraised of the delay, No Problem They also have a great selection of frame manufactures .....I definitely will be back. read more

My review is identical to Carla B.'s; in fact, I could have written it! I had a complete eye exam and bought three pairs of eyeglasses and my husband did the same. We also sent my brother and his wife here. Cary is the ultimate professional; she is knowledgable, friendly, cares about her customers, etc. I cannot say enough about her! We recently stopped in to have our glasses adjusted before heading back up to NY for the summer and she remembered our names even though it had been several months since we saw her.
