On the other hand, I at least, need to be in complete and utter desperate need of medical attention to brave the waiting room from hell. The huge and ear-splitting TV is placed where it can reach all corners of the waiting room to deafen all within its domain. Other desperate would-be patients bellow hoarsely to one another or their ever-present mobile phones in a futile attempt to compete. Ear plugs? Not a chance, or you'll miss all chance of someone mouthing your name when your time has arrived to see a physician. Appointments for blood work only. In summation: no stars for the hellish ordeal endured until you are finally ushered behind the sanctuary of the door to the examination rooms, then a sudden and glorious blossoming to a full five stars when IT. FINALLY. STOPS. and you find blessed silence and relief, and as if that isn't enough, someone to cure what ails you.
