Mr Phillips explained the problems associated with vision as one gets older but assumed me that, although there were signs of deterioration there was nothing particularly to worry about. A follow up appointment was made to confirm the eye test findings and a prescription supplied without any pressure to obtain glasses from W E Phillips. All in all a highly satisfactory experience and W E Phillips have gained a permanent patient.

I was greeted by a friendly lady who said they could for sure help and invited me to take a seat. Then I was seen to in less than a minute, taken to one of the little individual consultation desk and the nice guy that served me checked out my glasses and agreed that yes, they weren't fitted right. He was really friendly and patient, in the end it took three separate trips to the gadget they have to heat and then bend the arms to fit - which because of the type of glasses also took a long time to heat up. I walked away happy and pleasantly surprised by the great level of aftercare.
