I've taken several loans out from this particular establishment over the last couple of years and…read morehave never had any kind of a problem either with the staff or the repayment schedules. I've taken both payday loans and installment loans. The interest on the payday loans was reasonable enough (it sure beats the lecture you inevitably get when borrowing from a relative - lol) but the interest on the installment loans is sky high; you end up paying more than double the amount borrowed over the course of about a half of a year. Payday loans are MUCH better to take out as the interest works out to about $18 per $100 borrowed and payable on your next paycheck, so the pain is over quickly. They call you several days ahead of your scheduled repayment date to remind you, and that has saved my skin on several occasions. The employees are professional and nice, particularly the store manager (Mardis is her name). They are definitely NOT like the employees at ANY given PLS Store, which I'm sure is an anagram for Professional Loan Sharks! I probably would only give 3 stars at best to any loan store, simply because I can't get all worked up about taking out a loan of any kind at any time ever, but I will give a 4th star because of the employees professionalism and nature.

I let them know I am unemployed and they said it's okay. 10 days after (they failed to get the minimum amount I needed) a random man from their company started harassing me and calling me a liar and expressing his anger thru voice-mail and text. This lasted for days.

However the credit denials I received were due to the multiple inquires as shown in the us bank denial letter provided I hate leaving poor reviews but the fact I am being charged for the failed delivery to even being close to what was projected caused my review. I found it a poor decision by Ryan to charge for a failed delivery and unfortunately felt it necessary to let others know

The Ameriprise website sure made it sound easy: call us to learn how to get life insurance. That…read moreis ALL I wanted...not wealth management, not retirement planning...not managing my taxes. I'm not clueless about financial planning. Seeing that I have no debt, already have a 401(k) and retirement accounts setup with Fidelity and an online savings account that earns near 5%, I'm not sure why I agreed to signup for a basic financial assessment. Anyone can pick up a Kiplinger's magazine and read a few online guides to basic money management to figure out how to pay off debts, get loans or simply save for the future...so I was kind of miffed when I went in to discuss life insurance and was steered into forking over $400 for the privilege of a consultant telling me to keep up the good work, I am doing swell. So $400 for a fancy report of charts and graphs, and all I went in for was to get life insurance. Be wary of advisor pitches for additional services. Tell them upfront why you are there, unless you're a total financial meltdown case--then, they might be good for you.
