I just recently I called to verify that my discounts were correct since my premium went up quite a bit. A simple request that I've made of other agencies, that is normally met with "sure let me pull up your policies and I'll take a look." But at Neis, I was told to go to the website and find the info there, then was told to look at my paperwork that was sent in the mail (which I didn't get). Clearly she did not want to help me. There actually was a discount that I had not received the prior year. It's important to follow up with your agency when your premium goes up. And people do make mistakes. I asked for the manager to talk to them about this, and she said she was the manager. So I had no recourse but to put a poor review on their website. They took it off. If I had just received an, I'm so sorry and an apology for the agents behavior, I would not have written this review. I understand that Dave is very good there, so I suggest if you want to work with them, work with Dave.

A woman named Michelle walked into my shop one day asking to just hear her out. I had a few minutes, so I said, "fine, I guess I could listen for a second." She was so sweet, understanding and extremely informative. I had no idea that an accounting firm could actually offer the service they had to offer and at about the same price point. I'm going thru an awful divorce, so you can just imagine how scattered I was. She placed me with Joe and Gary at the firm and they actually turned my life around. They were completely understanding about my scattered head and messed up books. They never once made me feel bad about my mess. They keep on me, find all of my financial mistakes and show me how to correct them. Thank you GLM! But, thank you Joe and Gary most

As background, over the past 30+ years this is the first time I have asked for details of my charges. McCullough and Rossi prepare and files my small business and personal taxes. This year my fee for tax services doubled from last year's fee and while I acknowledge there were some reasons for an increase, I questioned why the fees doubled. I sent a note to my preparer for an explanation and she sent a very high-level response. I sent a second email asking for further explanation in two specific areas. I then received a phone call from Joe Rossi who told me "I don't have time to provide you with any further details", offered a discount and told me to find another accountant. 30+ years doing business with them and this is the response I received. Very disappointing response to say the least.
