Dr. Royer is the best! Very knowledgeable and attentive. Scheduling is difficult but after that, everything went incredibly well.

Long waiting times. Doctors don't seem to care. The patients are waiting over 45 minutes to see them and counting. Wow!

Dr. Sturm did my cataract surgery and I couldn't be happier. She and the staff were amazing and I…read morehighly recommend them to anyone.

I went to The Eye Center and saw Dr. Sturm regarding my cataract progression. They did the same…read moreeye exam as any other ophthalmologists office to check my current vision and then dilated my eyes in order to see the cataract and, apparently, measure it. I was told that I did not fit the criteria for surgery because the cataracts were not 'big' enough. When I asked what I should do about not being able to drive at night I was told to use more eyedrops for tears because I have dry eyes. I decided to do some research and below is what I found: The operation can be performed at any stage of cataract development. There is no need to wait until your cataract is "ripe" before removing it. Most people choose to have their cataracts removed when the change in their vision starts to cause them difficulties in everyday life. Jun 14, 2022 When I went to check out they charged me "$50 for a REFRACTION TEST". I asked what this test was for and was told that it was to check my vision. They said my insurance didn't pay for this test but I told them I have this done every year and it is always paid by the insurance. They kept saying the insurance did not pay for this. I don't get it. Medicare pays for cataract surgery but won't pay to get the eyes checked to have the surgery? Also, my receipt for the $50 doesn't even say what the charge was for...just says $50 charge. I heard them charge the same $50 to another patient who was checking out and also heard them tell a customer that they were charging them $25 to fill out a form. I won't ever go back to this place. What a rip off.
