Animal Emergency Center

Thank you for being open 7 days a week! Emergencies happen anytime (but especially Friday nights or…read morean hour after the regular vet closes, am I right). CARE is a closer ER vet to me, and the ER vet I have used in the past, but on Tuesday night at 1:30 AM when my dog had been unproductively retching, pacing and licking for over an hour, they were closed. AEC was a 40 minute drive, but worth every minute of that drive. I called ahead to let them know I was coming and the present symptoms. When I arrived, Bear was acting totally normal, but out of precaution (and to save going home and coming right back around) I asked to still have some diagnostics run. AEC was upfront about the high and low end costs (very reasonable compared to past ER visits) and the staff was kind, understanding and informative. Dr. Crist took time to walk me through Bear's radiographs and explain what I was seeing as well as answer all of my lingering questions. As a dog mom to another who has chronic gastritis managed with meds and a prescription diet, I have spent a lot of time discussing the dog digestive tract and GI issues with the regular vet and Dr. ChatGPT. Dr. Crist answered all of my questions with clear, thorough explanations. I didn't get names in the moment, but the three vet techs I interacted with were also kind and knowledgeable, even at 3 am when most normal humans are fast asleep! Thank you Animal Emergency Center for your professionalism and clarity and kindness in my moments of dog mom panic!

As thankful as i am for the care they provided, I was so scared and distraught because they didn't say if he would be okay. Once i got to Animal Emergency Center they put Max on a gurney from the truck and took him in immediately. The doctors were quick to communicate his condition and reassured me he was okay. I felt so much better after talking w Dr Crist. I just want to take the time to say thank you for such great communication and care given to my little guy. He's finally back to his normal self. We are SO grateful for hero vets!!!

MJ's Lawn Service

Covid and everything else going on this summer and they're still here every week servicing my lawn. I had my lawn cut short, thatched, aerated, fertilized and seeded this afternoon by 3 different crews of MJs! Talk about proficient team work...I'm impressed! Multiple requests for additional services went unanswered so we gave up on that, and settled for the basic services we were already receiving. However, when this company changed to MJ's maybe 1 year and a half ago, We received no notice until they needed to update our card info for payment. Multiple times I reached out utilizing both email and telephone but only received a few emails here and there requesting me to give our card info over an email which I was not going to do. While I couldn't reach anyone our card was still being charged the correct price weekly so I wrote it off and continued with my life. Fast forward to today in 2021, I receive a call from Nikkie who claims we owed around $200 and they will not be coming by to manicure the lawn until it is paid. She told me she needed the card info updated and supposedly has been trying to reach us. I'm curious as to how and when they tried to reach me because they obviously have the number since she called all of a sudden. The big bill was chalked up to them just cutting my lawn without receiving payment which is odd because like I said, no one has ever attempted to reach me until now. Now that money is owed, someone can answer my emails but not calls, hounding me for our card info. But while charges were reoccurring with no payment no one was concerned. Now I am forced to pay this big bill and in the mean time deal with a messy unkept lawn. This has placed me in a inconvenient position and I hate that. As if I'm not stressed enough dealing with a deployed husband ugh!
