The coffee here is great! It is def the best coffee shop I've been to in the US, with only the cafés in Italy coming close to a similar quality and taste. My only complaint is that the hours/days they are open keeps changing and they close pretty early, so it's quite frustrating as a customer. read more

I walk in, having been on the road for 2 days, and She says, "You have beautiful hair." LOL! I felt like a jungle but the woman who took my order greeted me with a compliment. And that is what accredits my rating for a coffee shop- because you have to bring more than coffee. But to the point, atmosphere is super chic... my latte was delicious. The cold brew, a pretty large slap to the face (and I have a pretty experienced cold brew drinker as a husband). Definitely more so for the espresso lovers. Great Local coffee! This place have been open for a few weeks now and I can say I am a regular now! From what I can see, the team has grown so much in the last few weeks and they seem to have ironed out a lot of the issues people have posted about. The owners seem to be passionate and doing everything they can to address issues as they arise. The menu is huge! There is something for any and everyone to enjoy. I personally enjoy the signature lattes and the tea infusions! The staff is super friendly and can guide you through the menu and answer any questions you may have. Oh they roast their beans in house too!! So the coffee is always fresh! They roast to a flavor profile instead of a color profile. This concept was crazy to me, but those Carmel colored coffee beans are delicious!!! The building itself is modern and cozy! Lots of seating and plug ins. If you are looking for something local with a cool vibe, modern look and spacious along with some great coffee this is definite visit if you are in the OKC area. My family and I are in town for a few days and made a pit stop for some coffee and the overall experience was great. The staff was super friendly and tons of options when it comes to coffee. They also sold food but we weren't hungry so we didn't get to try. Well staffed and clean/ inviting made the experience quick for those on the go and they even had a drive thru. My first experience here was so relaxing. The most spacious coffee environment of all of OKC. It didn't feel cramped or crowded. CALL BEFORE YOU GO! I like open flame for their coffee and food selection. I know times are tough getting help but out of the last 4 times I've stopped by the hours have changed and they just closed or they weren't open that day at all. It says one thing on the website and I get there,...CLOSED. I just went by again, supposed to be open til 4 but this week it's 1pm. It's happened too much for me to go out of my way to stop anymore. I try to support the locals instead of Starbucks so I'll be going to other local shops downtown. I hope they find help and get back to consistent hours for someone like me, who goes out of their way for coffee!! read more

Open flame is one of my favorite coffee stops. I live in Midwest city so almost everyday The staff is amazing and so helpful. The coffee is roasted right there in the shop and it is so amazing! Tyler does one heck of a job keeping the shop on social media and keeping it relevant. He holds deaf chat nights at the shop so keep your eyes open for that! I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone who enjoys a delicious cup of coffee. I've had many variations of their drinks. It's still cheaper for me to go to Starbucks but I like supporting small businesses. Since the coffee is so expensive it's a little tacky for them to suggest tip amounts. If someone rips;which I always do very well...let them decide to tip. It's a little ghetto printing tip suggestions on the receipt when the coffee is already over priced. Staff was nice but sucks I have to pay and tip for the wrong drink. Why ask if it's hot then give me a cold drink. Ugh. This is why they take the Facebook reviews down. I'm sure too many bad ones. I just loved getting out in the rain today to order a hot drink and say hot when she asked again to just get whatever. Ask us to tip after we get our wrong order next time. read more

Great flavored coffees, lattes and cappuccinos. They only get three start due to their prices being too high. If you want an extra squirt of flavor be prepared to fork over a dollar for each squirt. I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. They get a lot of Big Buns Bakery products that are THE tastiest. I won't say what bc I don't want them to run out :) The coffee is Fantastic and my boyfriend loves their iced tea drinks. Best in MWC. The first time I had open flame was when they first open up and it was very delicious but now I have went the last 4 times to get a coffee and it has not been the same. The last time I called and requested to talk to a manager and a lady took my name and told me she will have him call me back when he gets back from shopping but guess what? Still no call back which is okay because I won't go back to open flame any more I will take my business back to Starbucks. It just seems like they don't care rather they lose business or not so I will take my business back to Starbucks who makes it right when they mess up your order! read more

It has been open for a more than a month now and I have been continually impressed. A very modern, yet cozy atmosphere, made complete with the coffee being roasted in-house for all to see/smell. This allows their coffee to be extremely fresh and is very flavorful. They don't roast for color (light/dark, etc.) but instead to match the flavor profile of the bean, which I have found works very well; the only downside is there isn't a lot of dark roasts which I am usually a fan of. The sugary mixed-drinks are also very good for the fans of those; I've found the mocha doesn't have the gritty aftertaste that you tend to have at Starbucks. I'm excited to see them have continued success as this is a very unique and welcome coffee shop to MWC. read more

So I purchased a coffee drink and then a couple minutes later decided I wanted to add an extra shot of espresso. I went to purchase another shot which menu clearly shows a price of .75 and then she proceeded to charge me $1.50 after I had already paid $8 for a coffee and tip. Then informed me that the charge of. 75 is when you are adding to a current drink order which clearly I just bought one. You would think as a commom courtesy to your consumer you would go ahead and just charge the .75 but wanted to apologize and say sorry it would have to be $1.50. I would not recommend visitng this coffee shop unless you would like to be overchraged and not appericated as a customer to there business. read more
