I can't help but wonder if this is a new account, because I am surprised there aren't more reviews…read moreabout how fantastic the Christmas Miracle on 5th Street Pop-up is! I need to know more about how the bar gets ALL THE DECOR up, because there is no surface untouched by Christmas spirit. Tickets are required to get in it seems, you can purchase different tiers and also include a drink if you want. We got a welcome shot, tiny but warmed us up. I loved the drinks I tried, they really seem to make each one unique and so tasty. They are pricey, but consider this part of the experience. Every surface is decorated and I spent some time just slowly wondering, taking videos and photos. The staff are dressed up too. There are 2 rooms and an upstairs that can be reserved for private parties. Even the railings are wrapped! If you want to go somewhere that looks like Christmas threw up while sipping on cocktails and catching up during the holidays, this is your place.

Similar in design to The Roosevelt. If you want to go The Roosevelt without reservations and waiting for space to open up, this is a great way to pass the time until then. Just like The Roosevelt, they offer N/A cocktails, classic cocktails, and house creations. The N/A espresso martini is primo. The French 75 is one of the best I've had in the U.S. House creations, Show Business, Estatua Verde, and Standing Ovation are my faves! Show Business: Hendrick's Gin, Witch Hazel, Lavender, and other flavors Estatua Verde: White rum, sherry, lime juice, and more including smoke Standing Ovation: Campari, rum, bourbon, espresso, and more. So. Much. Goodness. They get pretty busy too and service can take a bit but never so long that it's bad. In fact, it's good, especially since you're getting high-end cocktails made by talented mixologists.

Celebrated my girlfriend's birthday with a spa day at the Hyatt Lost Pines Spa. We purchased the…read morespa pass with a treatment option from ResortPass well in advance. We were able to choose from organic massage or an organic facial for our treatment, and both opted for facials. The good: - Stunning property - serene, peaceful, and beautiful. - Spa offers several wonderful amenities (sauna, steam room, hot tub, pools, showers, and more). We thoroughly enjoyed each of these features and spent 3-4 hours total just relaxing and enjoying our time. - I appreciated that they had interesting and unique touches such as the adult coloring books in the relaxation lounge. What could've been better: - The facial service was very basic and frankly mediocre. For the amount we paid, I expected more of a facial massage and extraction. This was disappointing. - We were to receive a complimentary glass of wine each with our booking. No one offered this to us; I had to hunt down a staff member and request it. - For a five star spa, they should offer more than one hair dryer for all guests to use, and better beverage options in the relaxation room. We had one tea choice, that was it. Good experience but with some improvements could be great.

From the beginning, the team was very responsive to questions and open to feedback, which made the planning process feel much easier. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly, and they helped create a fun, seamless atmosphere so we could actually enjoy the day. One of the highlights for us was being able to use a more unconventional ceremony site on the property; they were very accommodating and made it come together exactly how we envisioned. Our guests also had a great time with the amenities, cocktail hour space, and reception space. The food was fantastic, and the bar service was equally impressive. We also appreciated that we could customize our experience without feeling overwhelmed by too many decisions. We also loved the staff of the hotel. They were so helpful, even with small things like moving our wedding decor around. The amenities are really awesome too, our guests loved it and want to come back in the future. There is truly something for any type of person here. It is on the pricier side, but for us, it was absolutely worth it. We would definitely recommend this venue.

Would I use the location for an event again? Never. Would I use the location for another if there…read morewas a different owner? Maybe. The venue itself would be four stars. However, dealing with the logistics of renting the location easily brought it down to three stars. The venue itself is nice enough, reasonable amount of space for 10 large (8ft) tables for a wedding. About 70 chairs, but not all chairs were used. Small patio outside house is a decent dancefloor (adamant about no DJs though). However, I have reservations about the accessibility of the venue. It was extremely difficult for my elderly relatives to move about the space, and they were unable to enter the house due to the steps. While this is a specific issue, I want to mention it for anyone else that has a wedding that may include grandparents. Logistically, dealing with the owner was pretty close to being a nightmare. While I appreciate side-hustles, the venue is overpriced. The contracting process was frustrating and she was non-responsive several times (she needs to get the contract looked at by a professional, there are still issues in it). While it is not made clear upfront, renting the upstairs costs additional money which is ridiculous considering it was $200/hour. They did not clean up after their dogs in the back yard and we were required to deal with our trash, except there was hardly any room in the trash and recycling cans. Finally, our rental period was supposed to start at 10AM, just around the time the owner put her baby to sleep. Call me heartless, but plan ahead if you renting out your house for close to $2,000 for a single day. The alarm directions were wrong as well, but we figured it out. I hope to never deal with her again, but I still wish her the best of luck. Hopefully she'll gain some experience and get better at this process. Oh yeah, weird topless picture in the guest bathroom downstairs. I would take it down if you have younger kids visiting.
