    I'm planning a graduation party for my twins who graduate high school next year & since I'm wanting…read moreto have the party on a specific date..6/16/2018 (my twins 18th bday) I figured I needed to be proactive & get the party venue booked now & I'm so glad I came across Lucas Event Center!!!! Having called MANY other venues before I found Lucas Event Center it was REALLY FRUSTRATING how every single venue that I called & even went to look at in person would NOT budge on the fee at all..NO negotiation..like really!!! Do these venues not know negotiation equals great customer service!!! BUT the owner(Gloria) of Lucas Event Center must know this since she was totally open to negotiation because yes, I want my kids to have an awesome & of course bad-a$$ graduation party BUT I am on a budget & senior year is costly so having Gloria be open to negotiating on the cost is 5+++++++++Stars in my book all day, every day!!! Since sharing is caring :) read below for ALL the reasons why Lucas Event Center is the venue that you'll want to use for your special event or to even use as a work training space.... -Budget Friendly: Open to negotiating on the price & working w/ your budget..THANK YOU Lucas Event Center!! -The venue is very pretty w/ a built in stone bar, wood flooring, & has a built in projector on the ceiling to use for a slideshow or presentation, built in colorful party lights (sorry don't know the correct names of those darn pretty lights), has a built in stage for the DJ, you can also have another stage built if needed. -When you rent the venue this does include tables, chairs, & clean up services after your event (awesome I know) & you have the option of renting the venue only & you doing your own decor, setup, etc but if you don't want to do your own decor, setup, etc Lucas Event Center also does decor..table linens, chair covers, balloon arches, fabric draping on the ceiling & on walls, etc so together w/ Gloria the owner you decide on what your vision is for your event & she will execute it for you..again all budget friendly because you have the option of deciding on what you can do & what you want the venue to do. -Lucas Event Center has 2 spaces you can rent depending on your event size..a smaller room that fits up to 100 people or the bigger space that fits up to 350 OR both spaces can be combined & rented out to have a whole lotttttttttttt of space :), which is what I decided to do even though my party size is for 125 people (at least for now it is ;) -The other event services offered by Lucas Event Center are photography, cakes, balloon arches, balloon columns, etc..... I hope this info is helpful to you the next time you're needing to plan an event because believe me I know the stress of looking for a venue that is nice & pretty but also doesn't cost a whole arm, leg, & even some toes ;)!!     This space is not up to par at all. The floors had multiple patch tiling and were very slippery for…read moreeveryone. Whether dress shoes or tennis shoes, we all were slipping and sliding, a safety hazard to say the least. The room was unclean and stale-smelling. There is possible mold or mildew lurking which may be causing the smell. Tables were leaning in, unstable and unclean as well as the chairs. Would definitely need table coverings, as the white tables or dirty beyond cleaning. Most of the 6ft tables have a dip in the middle and your meals and drinks slide. The trash can was full when we got there and we were told to take our trash w us when we left???? Who takes their trash w them???? This place is adequate is parking is not an issue as it is located smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood/automatic area and there are already multiple cars on the street. The parking lot holds about 12-15 MAYBE. I would suggest placing all valuables in the trunk prior to leaving your vehicle. One side of the sink was also stopped up and slowly SLOWLY let water out. The whole place has horrible, unclean, bottom-of-the-barrel vibes. Unfortunately, my family and I were unable to check it out prior and went off pics. It was for an untimely funeral repass and time was of the essence. The pics do the place justice because it shows it already decorated. However, the place looks abandoned, neglected, and barely standing prior to decorating. Evidently, according to her reviews, it is customary for her not to return deposits, as she did not return my Mom's and the place was left cleaner than we found it but she said it was left dirty. Should you decide to rent make sure you check it out beforehand. Make sure you check out the tables and chairs, they are all not useable. Make sure you pack a broom, your own mop, and plenty of Clorox, sanitizer, and other cleaning products because you will need to clean prior to and afterward. Take pictures of the way that you find it and the way it looks upon your departure.

The fridge was not plugged and the bathroom was gross. Just a all around disgusting non-functioning facility to rent.
