All my friends and family talked me out of it. My hair girl said if you don't like it we'll dye it back. Now I wonder why I didn't do this 5 years ago! Grace is an artist. I could tell from her staff and her own knowledge that she is very talented in gray blending. She was able to answer all of my questions and made sure to check on the health of my hair throughout the process. I trusted her 1000% and I have never even met her before. It is a longggg day so eat first! Or bring snacks like me Also, Grace is warm and kind. We had organic conversation but i also was able to just be quiet and enjoy being pampered. So, I've been getting my hair done (blonde) for more than 10 years , first off let me just say that…read morethis was my first experience at this hair salon , of which I had chosen because of the many great google reviews. Miriam being the highlighted hairdresser and per reviews and pictures the expert on hair coloring. Pictures on IG are beautiful , hair looks amazing and again I repeat , all are done by Mariam. I reached out to them short notice and they were amazing in booking me on a CLOSED day , which was again amazing and so kind of them ! Shows they are extremely caring with their clients. I showed up and was greeted , and I was expecting to have Mariam do my hair but was surprised when it wasn't her doing my hair. It is my fault that I should have asked who would be the hairdresser than just assume. I felt some type of way that they had opened shop that day for me ,so I decided to give it a chance . I stated in the beginning that I didn't want to darken my previously lightened hair because of the process that it takes to get to that level of blonde. At the end of it all , I got some highlights(I didn't want highlights) at a level 6 or so , and my previously lightened hair which was about a 10 is now a level 7 , my hair is now in layers , which was agreed because of the previous damage on my hair , and though the haircut and color were ok , it was not the look I was wanted . My hair is soft and def a different look and I was happy with the people , who were extremely nice but I'm sure if Mariam would have worked with it , it would have been exactly what I wanted.

I get my hair done by Debbie G., who is just fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about her. First of all, she's a highly talented and experienced stylist. I like how she listens to my input, asks questions, and has a warm, humorous, and friendly personality besides. Most importantly, I love how my hair turns out. All the other aspects of the salon are great, too: welcoming staff, especially Mike at the front desk, easy scheduling, they run on time, and they sell a nice line of products at a reasonable price. They have offered suggestions for products, but never ever pushed sales which I appreciate. The haircuts are reasonable priced too. I like the building, which is a 19th century historic blacksmith shop. The inside has been renovated, and looks really beautiful and maintains the historic architecture.
