Sylvia always asks me before she begins to cut or highlight my hair as to what style I would like and she will take the time to follow through with my requests. I love the fact that she takes the time to listen and then follows through. Silvia Vargas is very professional and very talented with her skills. I have also seen Dianna Pacelli for waxing and once again shows expertise and professionalism in her skills. This is…read moreone of the few salons I know if you call last minute they do their best to try and squeeze you in or work around your schedule. I know I've done it several times. The previous owner Marie could not be nicer. Some of their clientele are older and need assistance and I have watched how the ladies in this salon will go to the front door and actually help out the elderly clientele to there seat or washing station. FYI- I have no stake in this business but I must say the other reviewer is way off base. The whole reason I frequent this salon is because of how they treat me and the rest of their clientele. They make each person feel welcomed! I'm here approx every 6 weeks. I would definitely be able to tell If someone was rude. Quite a few men, and children come here for color or haircuts. This is definitely not a cut throat salon. The ladies all pull together as a team. My daughter has very thick long curly hair and she had it cut and blown out which takes quite a while and one of the other hairdresser had a break in between clients and helped my daughters hairdresser blowout one side of my daughters hair. The new owner Ruthie does a fabulous job on my hair and always has. She's young, energetic and always happy. To me this place feels like everyone is family. This salon is low key, non pretentious, and perfect for Warren not like some other salons where your passed from person to person. There's never any pressure to buy products. They will make suggestions and recommendations if you enquire. Diana does the scheduling and she does an amazing job. She really gets to know each and every client, especially if their repeat and she just knows the right amount of time to book each person. The products that they use are top-notch, and the same with their color, I believe it's Goldwell. The ladies are always attending classes to keep up with the latest trends, colors and cuts. The Clipper Club always has a pot of fresh coffee brewing, and water and they always have goodies for us clients to nibble on. During the holidays they have cool vendors that offer unique jewelry and items for sale. Some of the items are very unique. I really enjoy my time here and can't imagine going anyplace else for my hair.

I had my first visit at Fox and Jane in Aug and during the past 3.5 months Jenny has completely…read moretransformed my hair. On my first visit, Jenny started to plan my hair journey by asking me about both my hair goals AND my hair history. I really value the time Jenny takes to communicate and explain what I can expect and what my options are based on my history and goals. I have always wanted lighter hair but was always afraid of the potential damage of this process. Thankfully, Jenny always prioritized my hair health! It took us 3 sessions to get to my current goal of VERY light blonde and through it all, Jenny did what was needed to keep my hair long and strong. It felt easy to trust Jenny with my hair as she explained everything to me along the way. She's also very open to feedback so I was very comfortable letting her know when my color goals changed. She was very flexible and got me to my new goals. I absolutely love my new hair; there's so much depth and the colors of my hair blend so smoothly. I also really appreciate how seriously the salon takes COVID-19 protocols. They do not permit walk-ins and do not double book so there is never anyone waiting for a session in the salon. The chairs are well spaced out and they seem to plan it so that not all the chairs are occupied to maintain more than adequate social distancing. At arrival, customer temps are taken and we're instructed to wash our hands before taking a seat. Each chair is immediately wiped down after each service and masks are required while in the salon. I think it's great that they do everything they can to make the customers feel safe.

This review is long overdue…read more I had two separate services with Casey last summer (a haircut and a vivids service) and both experiences were so great. I had never dyed my hair before, but Casey checked in with me every step of the way--making sure that I was happy during the entire process. She also gave me tips on how to refresh the color in between visits to the salon. The end result was lovely and I still get compliments on it today! The salon itself was extremely clean and all employees took care to clean and sanitize everything in between customers. I was very apprehensive about doing anything to my hair, but I'd trust Casey with my hair any day. I'm planning on booking another service soon--I can't recommend them enough. :)

Julie was my stylist and she did a really nice job on my hair - would definitely recommend her. It's been a couple months since I got my hair done, and it still looks beautiful! I really wanted my hair to look naturally lightened and Julie did a really good job making it look like that. It took a couple of hours (~4) to finish my hair, but was definitely worth the time. For partial balayage + extra bowl of lightener + blowout it ended up being $196. The only thing that surprised me was the extra bowl of lightener (an extra $55), but my hair is super long. If you have similar length hair and need to lighten your hair, just be prepared. Would definitely recommend paramount pampering and can't wait to get my hair touched up when coronavirus is over.

I went to Renew Salon to go blonde again, like the owner Jeanine had done previously. I explained I…read morewanted the same beautiful blonde. Natalie assured me Courtney could do it that day. This time, the process felt unprofessional. The salon was empty except for us three. After Courtney applied the foils, both stepped away and when they returned, I noticed a strong, skunk-like smell. With foils already in my hair, Courtney asked again what shade I wanted, even though I'd been clear from the start. I also had made it known that I have not had any dye or bleach since my last visit there. She called to the other stylist in the back for a 'shade book' which never appeared. Later, as she rinsed the bleach, she suddenly asked if I had color in my hair, noting it was coming out darker in some spots. This made me worry. When I raised concerns, they dismissed them. You can be the judge because I uploaded before and after photos. Once dried, my hair ended up a uniform brown rather than the blonde I requested. It looked like something I could have done at home with a box dye and the texture felt weird once I washed it at home. I had chosen a professional because bleaching is risky and I was finally ready to invest in maintaining blonde. The assistant called someone, perhaps the owner, seemingly unable to handle the situation themselves. No action no apology to fix the issue; instead, it was blamed on my hair being 'grayer' than last visit. Even if true, a professional should assess it accurately. More color was suggested, but I know color cannot lift color. With the chemicals already in my hair, I didn't want further damage especially immediately after this. I don't have a big, beautiful mane, I was just trying to maintain what little I have safely, paid full price and left frustrated. I enjoy leaving positive reviews, but I can't this time. That's why I took a "before" photo because I truly expected great results again. Three weeks later, I noticed my photos are no longer visible in the gallery. Because of that, I may need to share them elsewhere. I hope the information helps others.
