After driving to get to another salon with a wait time of an hour and a half on a Thursday at 1:00 in the afternoon I found myself at OP Nails. I was greeted upon entry and although the technicians were busy and there appeared to be a wait I was in a pedi chair enjoying a massage in approx. 10 minutes. The technician was super helpful in helping me pick out options for my gel manicure. The pedicure was excellent, extra time and attention to the scrubbing on the bottoms of my feet and the massage wasn't rushed! I was helped to the manicure table and received and excellent gel mani with chrome! I accidentally hit my nail in the UV lamp and the technician willingly re-did the whole nail! Prices are just right. I will definitely be visiting this salon again! Friendly atmosphere and great service! UPDATE: After 10 days my nails are starting to chip. Got my nails done on a Thursday and by Saturday the polish on my thumb nail started peeling off. Used a brand that I didn't recognize (whatever is in the black gel bottles). In the past my gel has lasted for 2+ weeks, using the polish in the white bottles seem to last a lot longer. read more

Got my nails done here and loved them! I got the dip and the thickness was perfect! We had to wait for about 20-30 minutes and I wish my shape would've been a bit more square but other than that I was extremely pleased. The nails lasted about 3 weeks without chipping or anything. When I finally had time to take them off they were done so well it was hard! Lol. Definitely recommend this salon! Very clean and good atmosphere, even for children. Update: I returned to this salon when I was in Little Rock since I loved my nails so much the first time. I am extremely sad to say I was so disappointed. My nails we nothing like the first time I got them done. My sister-in-law gets hers done by the woman who did mine, and hers are usually beautiful so I could have just caught her on a bad day. This time around my nails were uneven, terrible shape and extremely thick. I asked to have them thinned a bit and shapes differently with not much luck. We had already been there for about an hour and a half and had somewhere to be. I wish I would've taken pictures but I was so disappointed and irked I couldn't even do it. Also let me note, the first time I went the owner's daughter did my nails. I still recommend this salon because everyone has an off day. If I hadn't been in a hurry and leaving to move to Chile the next day, I'm sure I could have gone back and asked the daughter to fix them. read more

I came in from out of town for my cousins wedding and wanted to find a place to get a quick gel mani. It was only $25 which was super reasonably priced bc it's so much more expensive at home. It's a small family owned shop and my nail tech was so sweet. I think her name was Melinda and she fixed me up great. I rarely get them done so when she cleaned up my cuticles, I was so happy with the difference. I'm not much of a small talker, but conversing with her was so easy. Her poor sister had to do my uncles feet but she took it on like a champ. If I EVER come through AR for any reason, I'm definitely stopping back by here. read more

I went to OP yesterday afternoon bc it was one of the few places open in town and the other two reviews for them were positive(in a real town two reviews is an alert to stay away, no one reviews in LR). Let me say, those girls reviewing before me have really low standards or are just plain ignorant....I'm however not. I travel for work, LR is unfortunately my home. I say unfortunately bc you're more than likely getting ripped off no matter where you're going. I purchased the deluxe manicure. My nails are uneven. I'm not sure where the deluxe part was...I'm looking and my cuticles are still raggedy too. She rubbed some lotion and scrub that smelled like grease cleaner on my hands and called it a day. She also charged 5 bucks more to buff my nails which appears to be the only thing she was competent at. Let me tell you why you're getting ripped off. For the $25 in a major metro area you'll receive a nail trim, cuticle care, a sugar scrub, moisturizer, hot stone massage, paraffin wax, and buff. There is a difference in service. Oh, and it isn't a hodgepodge of electrical cords, home office, and tacky decor. Write reviews, rant over. read more

I went in for a pedicure and a manicure (I wanted a gel pedi and my acrylic nails removed with a simple manicure). I got a pleasant gentleman who did my soak and removal of gel color from the last pedi. He massaged my feet and legs and we had a pleasant conversation. He said he couldn't do the paint I wanted and took my phone with a photo to the back and said his wife could do it. When he was finished with the prep work his wife came out of the back (where it was obvious she was unhappy and somewhat disgruntled about having to work). She sat down without greeting me or even a kind look. She went straight to slapping color on my toes and I attempted to show her a picture of what I wanted (black French tips with white polka dots). She dismissed my photo and said yeah yeah how many dots you want? Five? I said well I would like as many as looks good, she continued slapping paint when I got a phone call from my payroll company and had to take it, the nail lady went on and on in her language sometimes yelling toward the back. I got off the phone and my toes were all black, I pulled up the photo again and said that they were supposed to be black tips, and she began to argue I showed the photo and said well if you had looked at it to begin with we wouldn't be doing this right now. She fixed them, put substandard art on the large toes quoted me $65 for art on all the toes and only did the two big ones. Asked if I wanted my nails removed and I said only if he can do them (indicating toward her husband) she said NO. I paid and left, will NEVER return as this lady needs some sort of hormone therapy. And her poor husband!!! read more

The first time we went my mom got hers done by the older lady and i got mines done by one of the daughters everything was great they were nice and everything looked great we loved them and kept going back. The next time we went the daughter wasnt there but still everything was okay. The next couple of times the service got worse and worse no conversation mean faces the man kept asking racist questions and just today went back and the thickness of my nails aren't even the nail wasnt evened out correctly she got polish on my fingers and when she was done she charged us and there was a storm outside a very heavy storm and she still told my little 8 year old brother to open the door for us so we could leave she kept telling me to get the car made me go out into the storm my nails got ruined and she told my mom multiple times to take her her broken umbrella she let me borrow I do not recommend this location the lady had no consideration for me or my little brother i already had a cold read more

It's not high on frills or ambience(but those of us who are local and are regulars know that already) but they do a great job, pay attention to the smallest of details and they're always willing to fit you in.
