Quick service, small shop! I got the eel triangle which was pretty good just wish the seaweed was a bit crunchier!

I ordered the regular short rib plate, small poke plate, and the 3 triangles of unagi, poke, and buldak chicken. I was so excited to try this place and had hoped it would be a place I'd come back to, but it was just alright to me. The short rib plate was good, but maybe in the smaller portion for a quick fix. The poke wasn't terrible quality, but it wasn't up to my standard of melt in your mouth. Unagi was mediocre and the buldak chicken was nothing crazy. The edamame with lime was good. Overall, this place would be fine for quick fixes and small bites but definitely not worth a $50 meal for two lol.

I visited this place for the first time. All of the Japanese-style onigiri were delicious. The kimchi was tasty. The atmosphere felt more like a stand than a restaurant. Since I got takeout, there wasn't really any service to mention.

On our way back home, we decided to get dinner here. Food was good, but we didn't get one of our orders, their Dubai Marshmallow Chocolate Cookies Dessert ($7). We didn't notice it until we got home and it was already too late to go back because one, it's a bit late already and second, by the time we get back there they would be closed. I don't know how they would forget it, it was the very first thing on the receipt which was taped on the front of the to-go bag! I don't know how these places don't double or triple check the orders as they go which they should as part of giving good customer service. The workers are actually the ones representing the establishment and they're not doing a very good job at it as they're doing a disservice to their customers.

I've been here twice now. The first time wasn't particularly memorable, but I wanted to give it another shot before committing to an opinion. Unfortunately, the second visit confirmed that it's not worth the time. Most recently, I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the unagi (broiled eel). Both were noticeably bland. Unagi is usually a safe bet because it tends to have a consistent, rich flavor even at basic sushi spots. Here, it was completely flat. It tasted like it had never been marinated, and no seasoning was added to make up for it. They do offer a generous condiment station, which is a nice gesture. But even after trying to resuscitate the triangles with some emergency flavor injections, they were too far gone. The atmosphere is casual and geared toward takeout. There are a few seats inside and a couple of small outdoor tables. If the food were better, it could be a nice spot to sit outside on a sunny day with BART trains rolling by overhead. The menu is small, which should make it easier to maintain consistency and quality. Right now, though, the execution just isn't there. Maybe things were better when they first opened, but at this point, it feels soulless and phoned in. With so many solid options nearby, it's hard to recommend this place unless it is the only thing open at 9pm and you need something quick. If you're after a handheld rice snack, I'd suggest checking out Yonsei Handrolls down the street instead.

Ordered for pickup the other day and the Triangles were delicious! We got the short rib, the unagi, the grilled salmon and teriyaki chicken. They were all very yummy but we especially liked the one with short ribs. I really appreciate that the filling goes all the way down/into the Triangles and the price wasn't bad at all either! Would definitely go again!

Found a piece of plastic in my rice triangle that had been used for the spicy tuna. Perhaps it could be understandable if it was busy and they were rushing to get food out, but we were the only people in the store ordering.

Super delicious oori triangles! I had the spicy tuna, short rib and the spicy tofu. While they all could use a little extra heat, they were delicious! My fave was probably the spicy tuna, it was also like have a giant spicy tuna handroll. Also appreciate that the three pack comes with delicious edamame.

Wow! I am so pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. I often make my own musubi/onigiri/rice balls at home so I try not to eat out for it, but this place is definitely somewhere I will go to again and again! The selection of different meats/fillings were amazing and delicious. I had the spicy samyang chicken and the kalbi. My boyfriend had the spicy pork, kalbi, and salmon. We got our order very fast as we barely had to wait. Even then, the food was still fresh and hot. It's a very cute hole in the wall but it does not have too much seating.

Thank you Oori on Salono Ave you guys are so nice love this place! Always friendly service quick and delicious!

Perfect spot for a quick bite! Had the spicy tuna and short rib triangles, both were good and flavorful. Tap to order screens on the inside and staff are nice. Limited seating but these triangles are the perfect snack to have while walking or on the go.

This place has been in my bookmarks for quite some time now. I decided to give it a try today because I wanted something a little different. I ordered the 4 piece triangle box so I could share with my brother. Spicy Ahi tuna, chicken teriyaki, short rib and spicy pork. My brother really liked the short rib. He said it was very flavorful and preferred it over the others. I really enjoyed the spicy ahi tuna. I liked the texture of it lol and the spicy pork was pretty good as well. They both had the best flavor and taste to me. The chicken teriyaki was not that good, I wouldn't order it again in future visits here. Edamame was good. Staff/service was nice and ambiance of the place... it was quiet because I came right as lunch time was getting started. Inside is very small and there are small tablets to the side where you can place your order. The order did not take that long to be ready.

Driving up to visit some friends, but got the munchies, so we decided to get a snack. Oh, I have a soft spot for musubis. We got some short Rib and salmon. Generous portions of protein in each. The short rib was tender, and marinated well. The salmon was grilled and perfectly cooked, as it was still juicy. It came with some Edamame, which was steamed or boiled.

Left to Right: Spicy Ahi Tuna, Double Unagi, Grilled Salmon. Complementary Edamame if you purchase the 3 Triangles Set

An Absolute Korean Food Dream!…read more Me and my wife ate here several times already, but where do I even begin?! From the moment we sat down, we knew this was going to be a special meal. We kicked things off with Jinro Strawberry Soju -- two bottles, obviously, because you don't come to a place like this and hold back. Light, refreshing, and the perfect way to set the mood. The bento box was a showstopper -- crispy katsu resting on a bed of cabbage slaw, fluffy steamed rice topped with black sesame, golden gyoza, perfectly steamed broccoli, and a rich dipping sauce. And the banchan spread that came alongside? An embarrassment of riches: pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, seasoned bean sprouts, braised greens, spicy kimchi -- every single one house-made and bursting with flavor. But the real scene-stealer? The Rose Tteokbokki in a cast iron skillet -- a fiery, deeply savory broth blanketed in melted cheese, topped with a perfectly halved soft-boiled egg, scallions, and black sesame. It's the kind of dish that makes you go quiet mid-bite because words simply aren't enough. The portions were generous, the service was warm, and the vibe -- somewhere between a cozy Korean market and a neighborhood gem -- made the whole experience feel like a hidden treasure. 10/10, would absolutely come back and bring everyone I know. 먹자!

The portions and quality are commensurate with the pricing structure. We started by ordering appetizers: Steamed Vegetable Dumplings Japchae Chive Pancake Soy Garlic Chicken Wings Then we ordered entrees: Premium Galbi Tang Grill Mackerel x2 Bibimbop x3 (different proteins) and of course there was the assortment of BanChan. When the food began to arrive, it came fast and hot. When they had us spread out, instead of having to pass the Banchan back and forth, they simply brought out another set. Service was excellent and unobtrusive. Everything that I tasted was delicious. There was very little conversation going on after the food was served until everyone was full. That's always a good sign. We will definitely be back when hungry for Korean cuisine in the El Cerrito area and we're looking forward to their planned Castro Valley location!

Here, you can adjust your spice tolerance to preference - my tolerance is high but I decided to go for the medium level. The bibimbap came out in a hot and sizzling dish so just be careful if you're sensitive to hot foods! After waiting for it to cool down a bit, I mixed the layers around and was happy to get the crunchy rice at the bottom of the dish. The chicken was a good balance of spicy but not too overpowering. Depending on the preparation, you might be used to having bibimbap with sauce that you mix in, but this variation already has everything combined within the pot. It also comes with a small side of tofu soup, which was piping hot but so worth it as it was spicy and comforting. We went with the smoked salmon roll and an 8-pc nigiri combo (I chose salmon and tuna but there were other options). They even have veggie rolls also, for vegetarians reading this. The smoked salmon roll was only $8.50 and the nigiri combo only $14.50. The quality of the fish was fresh and the slices of salmon and tuna were thick. Once you check out you are given chopsticks and Kikkoman soy sauce. We took our sushi to Chicha San Chen to sit and enjoy our little lunch with some top-tier Taiwanese tea. The smoked salmon roll was delicious with a wonderful smoky flavor and the nigiri was super fresh and not fishy at all. I really appreciated how thick the slices of fish were.
