I'm startled to see the negativity in the reviews, and while I don't condone the experiences fellow yelpers have shared, here's what our recent experience was like: Too Big For My Car was tapped by the furniture retailer for delivery. Honestly, the service was impeccable from the beginning: - Once the items were in the warehouse, we got a scheduling link to an online scheduling system to find a day* that works for us, along with paying the delivery fee. (*As is the nature of the industry, we didn't get to pick a time, and that was a unknown until the day before the delivery.) - The day before the delivery, we got a reminder email/text asking us to confirm, along with a 4 hour delivery window, with a more specific ETA. - The day of, the link showed us a status tracker where we could see helpful information like our stop number, an updated ETA window, and when we were about 45 minutes, we were alerted. At that time, the map showed us the vicinity of where the delivery crew were located, in real-time. And then, came delivery! As is the status quo, it's a lovely spring (read: rainy) day, and we're in the no-shoes-in-house-please camp. While we rummaged to find our shoe covers, the crew (Miguel and Daniel) were so respectful when they arrived! Miguel and Daniel rolled out a carpet with a plastic bottom (red, fitting, huh, after the money just spend on furniture ;) ), and continued laying down carpet on the path they'd walk so they wouldn't soil our carpet our make our floors all wet. Then Miguel and Daniel went back and assembled the furniture in their truck, before bringing it out, carefully. I appreciated that they had a cloth on top so that our pieces wouldn't be getting wet. Miguel and Daniel took the time to carefully set the furniture how we'd envisioned and then, just like that, after taking a few photos to confirm sound delivery and a signature from us indicating our approval, the red carpet was rolled and off they went. Overall, a respectful experience. Thank you!

    Super devastated - have used them and recommended them to my clients for years and years (I'm a…read morerealtor). And when I downsized hired them to take a ton of our very nice furniture to a local consignment shop. They destroyed $9800 worth of furniture beyond the point of repair (you can't just repair vintage collectable furniture with spackle) and were unresponsive I had to hound for weeks. They cracked the side and top off the dining table, the Phillip Stark chair looked like it had rolled down the highway. All for their "white glove" option. They told me it looked like that when they picked it up. They told me they couldn't examine the "new in box" dining table so didn't know the condition. So basically a) they consistently called me a liar and b) gave me a check for $500 and said I was lucky to get it. They were doing me a favor. I am beyond furious with this company and will obviously never refer or use again. Buyer beware! And for the record this is the first ever negative review I've left anyone- because I do believe in second changes, and giving the opportunity for a business to make something right - but they absolutely did not fix this for me. And I'm positive they have insurance that should have covered it. Infuriating.

They are totally helpful when I have done a shipment…read more They are also totally helpful when I have had a shipment held at this Lake Oswego location, in order to have a secure pick up of a valuable parcel. FedEx systems also manage shipments better than brown. They hold shipments in a secure location such as this at no additional charge, easily with their on-line app. On the other hand - - - Anytime brown does anything extra, they want to charge you more, even when I am having a shipment held for pick-up and by doing so, I am saving them from doing an an extra trip to do a delivery with a signature required parcel. Brown is stupid beyond belief in this way. I wish everyone used FedEx, they are so much easier to work with ! ! ! Note, also, I have never had FedEx damage a shipment, and Brown has damaged a significant percentage of shipments they have carried. I actually bias my purchases from companies that use FedEx and avoid dealing with brown. . . .

    **An update to my previous review. After doing everything…read morein my power to make sure delivery isn't by FedEx when I purchase items I had no choice. My package was reported as "out for delivery" on a truck yesterday. I waited all day. At the end of business they sent a message that it wouldn't be delivered till today. It is again "out for delivery" and says it will be delivered between 9-1pm. I tried calling, I tried writing to make sure it will be delivered otherwise I need to pick it up early tomorrow so I can travel with it. No resolution other than "wait and see if it's delivered". The ratings are for the service itself and it doesn't seem they've addressed it in any way. Have had zero issues with UPS, USPS and all other delivery services. Always issues with delayed deliveries from FedEx once the packages arrive at facility for delivery in Oregon.
