Another telemarketing company !!!! Bloomberg.com describes Onvoy as, "The Company offers network-based voice and messaging services to wireless, cable, carrier, and communication service providers." Even if the calls coming from the numbers registered to Onvoy are being spoofed (and not coming from their voip service) something needs to be implemented to verify legitimate calls. I'm suspicious that they are complicit in allowing robocalls. I've received hundreds of robocalls over the years... Lately most of them are registered to Onvoy, LLC MN A friend of mine in an entirely different state has been receiving calls from them as well. There should be an investigation into this OR the company should investigate how their product is being exploited. read more

SCAM COMPANY. Recorded voice: "Your social security number has been suspended because of suspicious activity." I love getting these dirt bags on the line, so I press '1' at the prompt. "Give me your identification number and name." They hang up. Damn -- they scare easy. To the FTC: Onvoy LLC is running a scam operation. Before Trump-scum took over, your organization would have done something about this. read more

Still a spam company. Tip: if you have an iPhone like I do, there's an app called Number Shield. It blocks numbers in ranges, which is useful because Onvoy buys up numbers in ranges. For example, they own 332 262 4000-4999, so I blocked 332 262 4XXX. This helps when Onvoy sends spam calls from 4050, then 4051, 4052, etc. The app costs 99 cents, but it's worth it. You can also use Truecaller's website to find out who owns a certain number. It's free, though the free version limits how many look-ups you can do each day. read more

Bloomberg.com describes Onvoy as, "The Company offers network-based voice and messaging services to wireless, cable, carrier, and communication service providers." By this they mean that that Onvoy is a notorious spamming outfit that frequently uses VOIP and similar technologies in order to circumvent FTC and telemarketing regulations. This means that while the actual office is located in Minneapolis, the area code you receive a call from may be anywhere. The spam call that I just received had a Manhattan area code. If you receive an out-of-state (or even local) call from a number you don't recognize, it may very well be Onvoy. Never answer, as you will only be verifying that a human routinely monitors that line. Your carrier probably offers some free level of spam call protection, so make sure you sign up for it and block the offending number. read more

Here's a business that is happy to make money but doesn't care about how they do it. Do you ever get spam phone calls and not know anything about caller? Well, at least you can search for the phone company that is supplying their service simply by searching on the NPA/NXX database. You look up the area code & exchange (the first three digits of the 7-digit phone number), and you can see who the phone service carrier is. The vast majority of the spam calls coming into my house are operated by Onvoy. read more

This company allows scammers and people using illegal robodialers to continue calling people on the Do Not Call List. This is the company behind all the robocalls. They buy up or confiscate large blocks of local phone numbers and then create texts for their workers to use. The ones I get are "hi, I'm so and so from senior help care, and you called about selling your timeshare." If you challenge their pre-written spiel they just keep talking, or get defensive. read more

I want to just add my name to the list of people who wishes for this company to get what it deserves. Whenever I get a threatening phone call and I investigate to find which carrier it came from, it's almost always Onvoy. I hate leaving negative reviews. I am receiving constant calls from a group of "local" numbers with the same area code and prefix with various endings. All numbers trace back to this VOIP service. They are voice verifying and hanging up (you'll hear your own "Hello?" and a disconnect. Upon returning the call, it is the same lady with the same bad attitude attempting to verify personal information. She mumbles the name of the company, "(incoherent) Collection Services". Will not allow you to speak with a manager, and coincidentally calls directly after speaking with the local Unemployment office to correct changes being made fraudulently by an "unknown" source. They are extremely persistent and apparently good at their job because they successfully changed information that I am unable to change online-- meaning they called in to do it (90 minute wait times on a slow day) OR hacked the Unemployment system (which they deny). Going on day 40 of not being able to access my own account and have to leave the numbers unblocked for law enforcement. One star is too much. I hope these people have long, beautiful lives because if I shared my initial feelings.... I wouldn't be any different than them. 2021- went in thinking it was a brand new year... and one season in and I'm suddenly so paranoid I'm suspicious of the mail lady... Pretty sure just leaving this review is a win for them. What a great way for more fraud workers and identity thieves to find the best place to eff over the lives of people that care and have scruples. read more

I recieved a call from 628-666-9694 claiming that I had won Publishers Clearing House. I was instructed to go to Walgreens and my winnings would be sent via Western Union. After going there the person that I was talking to told me his supervisor would call me. A few seconds later I got a call from 518-501-2956 telling me that I needed to purchase a gift card for $388 for processing fees.Like a fool, I did. A few minutes later he tells me that that wasn't enoughand that I needed to buy 2 $500 gift cards. I refused and hung up. He called a few minutes later and told me the prize patrol was on the way and I needed to have these gift cards in hand. When I continued to refuse, he became very agressive and abusive. I called him a few expletives and hung up. Luckily I was able to recoup most of the $388. read more

Got a scam text message and call from a number, looked it up and it's from Onvoy. They knew my name somehow and my computer froze as soon as I got the call. When I tried to block the number on my phone I saw that my location was being shared and had to turn off my location services entirely. I blocked the number and I'm still getting continuous calls from a "no caller id" number now that I cannot block. Definitely shady and seems very unsafe. Block and repost if you get calls/msgs like this. read more

Wishing that Yelp had the option of leaving a negative star rating. This company doesn't deserve a single star. In the past month, I've had 240+ spam calls from Onvoy LLC. I've blocked them from my iPhone, used Scam Shield app, and personally had my carrier block incoming calls from unknown numbers - and STILL they wreak havoc on my call log. Claiming that, "this is ridiculous," is supremely understated. Never left a review, anywhere, a day in my life. However this "spam calling" is invasive, intrusive of my privacy, and is what I consider virtual stalking. This should be criminally penalized. Wow. read more

Onvoy LLC/inteliquent enable massive scam operations using robocalls that dial about 20 times a day, and come from a huge range of numbers, but all are useless spam. The terrible reviews on the BBB website often include a reply from Onvoy LLC/inteliquent that this isn't their doing, that it's the businesses they enable which are to blame, but at this stage, Onvoy LLC/inteliquent knows full well what they are involved in, and should clean up its act. read more

I receive numerous calls daily under Scam Likely and I punch the phone numbers into my Search Records and every single one originates from Onvoy Lic. Then I received a text message that threatening messages made by ME from MY phone number have been reported and if I didn't want further trouble I should "change" my number. CRAZY!!! I never made any threatening text msgs or phone calls. Again I looked up the number the text came from and again Onvoy pops up. oh also they are landline numbers the Search Records found. Now o become livid beyond belief and reported several of those numbers to my Search Records account as serious scammers. well well well I actually start hearing from these people in text messages now threatening me that I am the one sending messages and phone calls. They were relentless in harassing me about reporting them. Then they said if I didn't respond to them (obviously I decided to ignore then and like the children they are it made them even more angry) they were going to contact the police Bahahaha that's when I finally responded with this message " OMG I don't know why I didn't think of that! I think that is an awesome idea because you say texta are not from you that I need to retract my complaint and you say the messages are coming from my number and I am definitely not playing 'ring ring is Mike Hunt there' so I have an uncle who is chief of detectives and my brother in law is a police officer so I am going to call them immediately on OUR behalf and tell them OUR situation.......well.......I have stopped receiving any calls or texts from any of those people who contacted me about reports and that I am the one doing it etc etc etc. At least not from the numbers they contacted me on LOL SO I SCARED THEM AWAY and now I know it's all a scam. read more
