Onus iV in Boulder was recommended to me by my doctor as a way to get on top of a bad sinus infection I came down with two days ago. They do a cocktail of immune boosting vitamins and minerals that my doc thought would actually help (as opposed to slamming vitamin C and hoping for the best). The experience was great. John was running the place, and explained everything perfectly. He also handled the medical end of it perfectly, since, as I learned, he has been working in health care for many years, most significantly as an ER nurse. I have to say it put me at ease to have a medical professional. But beyond that, John did a great job with the "hospitality" component - putting me at ease, asking me questions about myself that didn't seem phony, and even offering me a much-enjoyed cup of tea while I was having the treatment. As for the process itself, it's super polished, and the proof of this is that John was able to serve 4 people simultaneously while continuing to converse and check in with me while he was helping the others, all of whom had clearly been there before. As for me, the newbie, he asked how I was doing every 10 minutes or so. Anyway, they take your pulse and blood pressure, then get the iV hooked up, and then you just hang out and work or read or relax or even watch professional snowboarding on the TV. One thing I thought was really cool is this network of what appear to be bungee cords or ropes that they use as pullies to lift the iV bags high enough up in the air so that there is plenty of space to move around (for the people who aren't currently getting a treatment, that is). There are six or seven chairs and I'm sure they could have the place full and it would be running smoothly. In conclusion, I think this is a really well thought-out business model, with a very well-designed flow for getting people in and out. And with the endorsement of my doctor ("These guys are legit."), I know what I'm getting is, well... legit. I'll be back, no question. read more

Incredible! This was a couple weeks ago, I'm just getting around to this... I was in from out of town and might have had one too many beers with my friends. Feeling a bit rough, my buddy mentioned that he had gotten an IV in Denver and that there was a location in Boulder as well. This experience far exceeded my expectations. First off, the location is great, comfy chairs and heating pads got me feeling better right off the bat. The nurse Max was super nice, and he helped me choose the right IV and answered all my questions. I got the hangover cure. Max was able to get my IV in fast and painlessly, which was surprising because most people have trouble finding my veins. I drank some tea and watched the Office on netflix, and by the time I got out of there I had completely forgotten my hangover! 10/10, would definitely recommend! read more

Onus is truly the best. The staff is incredible, I have sat with John, Max, and Kelly and I truly cannot say enough about the level of care I have received. Every time I am here is a pleasant as the last. I do the Vega treatment and I leave Onus feeling better always. The environment is beautiful and relaxing and very boulderesque. I have had 4 treatments here and I have to say after I get an I.v. I feel amazing my skin feels softer and I just have an overall feeling of wellbeing! I have suffered from addiction and b12 shots and the iv therapy I truly believe help me stay sober because I feel so good afterward I have no desire to partake in bad habits. I have used these guys after my ultra marathons for speedy recovery. Staff are friendly, smart, and know immediately what to give you. They are around during your treatment to answer questions and give further advice. The A team hydration bag is full of amino acids and electrolytes and replaces much of what you lose in during the race. Th facility is clean and welcoming. Second time getting an IV at Onus and first time at the new Boulder location. It's really easy to get to on the west end of Pearl St and the place is super cool and clean. It basically feels like you're hanging out in your living room watching TV while getting the IV! And everyone who works there is super cool and friendly. Onus IV hydration has saved my butt more than once when I felt like I was getting sick, I'd pop in and get the immunity infusion and it would get me back on my feet quickly.
