Worst shipping company ever. I kept getting messages that they needed additional address information but the only way I could get in contact with them was a chatbot. All the reviews you are reading here are absolutely true. One of the best and most informative review is the one whereby you contact the vendor directly about the whereabouts or condition of your package - if it ever arrives. Because there is no 'real' way to contact OnTrac directly and even if you are lucky to get a response, they will not, not do they care about your issues and your complaint will fall on deaf ears and never reach corporate. Case: repeatedly I've requested they delivery package to our actual address and every time they leave it on the side of an unsafe highway rather than drive up a few more feet. read more

OnTrac has been asked repeatedly to deliver my packages on the doorstep, not outside the gate where they can be easily stolen. It's only a few feet more, but it's difficult for me to move them due to mobility limitations. The vendor has even marked the packages to be left at the door. The driver knows this; he tried to run to his truck to avoid talking, then said that he decides how to deliver the packages, not the vendor. I made complaints to the company but they are well known locally to have terrible service. read more

Real poor service. Can only chat online not able to call and talk to a real person. Could not find my house. Took 3 extra days since they held the package until they received confirmation that the address WAS correct and they could not find the house in my simple neighborhood that they have delivered to many times before. Ontrac is by far the worst delivery company around. They have horrible customer service. Completely worthless. They held my package for several days then some how they lost my package which was already scanned into the local Ontrac facility. Two days later it is located. They refuse to allow me to pick it up myself. Proceed to hold on to the package for two more days then after the order was canceled the package is finally delivered in horrible condition see the picture uploaded. Delivery drivers are completely garbage as well. This order was from Walmart.com. I don't know how this company exist. This company isn't even worth the 1 star I had to give them to post the review. If you can control who delivers your package stay away from Ontrac you will thank me later! We needed a power tool and supplies and our local Home Depot was out of stock so we ordered it online and it was shipped from the Home Depot in Santa Maria, 40 miles south of us, using OnTrac. The tool and supplies never arrived. On the day it was scheduled to arrive, we were working in the front yard the entire day and OnTrac's tracking information says it was delivered at 3:48pm, during the time we were in the front yard and would have seen the delivery truck and driver. Our security footage also shows us working and at no time did we receive a delivery. At 3:55pm, a friend pulled in front of our house to pick up our son and my husband briefly chatted with them. That is the only activity/interaction that took place that afternoon. There was never any delivery and we did not receive the tool and supplies we ordered. OnTrac claims they investigated and that their GPS shows their driver was located in front of our house at 3:48pm which is completely untrue. There was no delivery truck in front of our house at any time that day. I will never order from Home Depot online again because of this experience and Home Depot uses OnTrac as their shipping provider. Do not trust OnTrac!!! read more

Two orders in two weeks (one from WalMart, one from Thrive Market) have been left at an address sign at the bottom of the hill below our house. This is nowhere near the front door or near our house for that matter. It's not near ANY houses. How does the driver think that is okay to leave a package out in the open like that? Absolutely the most inept and incompetent delivery carrier that I've ever run across. I am now dealing with the second time that they've claimed to have attempted a delivery to our business when they clearly made no such attempt. They're contracted to deliver for Walmart and I've told Walmart that I will not use their services any longer until they get rid of OnTrac. read more

I had the worst experience speaking with a person named polo or Paulo he was rude and not very informative. I needed to overnight some keys he told me I had to either go online or to make an account to ship keys overnight. That was ridiculous I was so mad I went to UPS they took my keys package them and shipped them without making an account. I suggest don't ever take your packages to on track. This guy Paulo or Polo is rude as hell don't waste your time I give it zero stars, but I had to put one or else I couldn't post. I will never go there again for nothing. read more

...and to absolutely no ones' surprise, OnTrac in Santa Maria 'loses" another package. Ordered three packages from Bath and Body Works. The first one was delivered by FedEx and came on time. The second one was late so I checked the tracking number, then thought "oh no" when I saw that OnTrac in Santa Maria was the delivery service. It shows my package went from Arizona to Reno, Nevada and ended up at OnTrac Santa Maria on April 22, never to be seen again. I called OnTrac and gave the woman my tracking number. She said that the package was cancelled by the shipper. Not sure how that happened when they actually shipped the items, which made it safely through the other locations. After getting this information, I called Bath and Body Works. Once again, to absolutely no ones' surprise, they stated that they never cancelled the order and the tracking shows the package was still in Santa Maria. They're going to send a replacement, although I have to wait two weeks now. Hopefully this package will make it to it's final destination but given my past experiences with OnTrac, I'm not holding my breath. I always try to avoid OnTrac unless absolutely necessary. The woman at Bath & Body Works stated they are always having issues with OnTrac. Look up OnTrac at any location and most justifiably average a one star rating. read more

This delivery service is terrible. They delivered my package in the rain ,left it out by the street, instead of bringing it to the house. It was a perishable item with directions to make sure it was left with a person. I was at home at the time of delivery but still they left it outside in the rain by the trash cans located by the street. read more

Okay this is an awful delivery service. I realize it's the holiday season and they are most surely busy but it is always bad. They throw boxes at our doors in plain site. We have a cove by our door, both UPS and USPS leave packages behind the door and are always courteous and knock before leaving. They have broken glass items in packages marked fragile because they throw them at the door. And then speed down the street eating a sandwich. I tried to call the local office number and it was disconnected. They should know their drivers are doing their job poorly. Now i have to contact the company who sent the package and try to get a replacement. People should really use different services besides OnTrac. They clearly don't care about their job. read more

I've had two packages in 2 weeks not delivered. The On Trac carrier states he's delivered them but he hasn't. I've been home and received all my other deliveries but On Trac has a theft issue going on and needs to deal with it. This is coming from the Santa Maria, CA On Trac facility. I have ordered tools/equipment from Home Depot in Santa Maria, Ca. on several occasions. I have never received the items I purchased on the day that OnTrac indicated I would receive them! On one occasion, I received the item 3 days later than OnTrac indicated I should receive item based on their tracking email. DO NOT USE OnTrac if you have an other option available. A one star rating is too good for their lack of service! When I have ordered items from other vendors, I will always intentionally ask them to NOT ship items by OnTrac. OnTrac is likely being used by these companies because it offers a low cost service (couldn't think of another term) in which the customer gets screwed! read more

Packages have been left under trees in a park near here, taped to mailboxes out on the road, sitting on pillars at the entrance to the community and at the wrong houses. WORST shipping carrier of all time. They've been holding my package for over a week saying I need to contact them. When I try to, they don't respond to my multiple messages I send through their site or answer their customer service line. Second time OnTrac doesn't deliver my package.. They always deliver it to the wrong address, my pet's life is depending on that package .. HORRRIBLE SERVICE!!! Some how last review got deleted... were do I start. Have seen driver throw package from van door over bushes on to our porch. Have had packages say they delivered and no where to be seen. They have tried to say our roads where closed and or driveway was blocked. Well one our whole family was able to leave and come back to house so roads where not closed. And we have a circle driveway so two ways to get to house. They are never blocked and if one side had car you pull to other side.plus we have giant mailbox. Also have had them throw a packaged over our fence unto our horse corral cuz again they said they didn't have access to our door. My neighbor across street has had even more problems. They used to throw packages overr her fence into a field where her wheeled chair could t get to. I call them and they always have excuse and management does nothing nor holds workers responsible. Do not trust them with anything. And know many neighbors friends and family that don't either. Plz be warned this company is taking advantage of customers and suppliers of packages. read more
