ZERO stars! Do NOT ever book with this company! They're crooks and for some reason I cannot add a Google review, so here we are. I recently booked them for a trip to the Caribbean, and everything seemed great at the beginning, driver arrived on time, it was a bit steep but I was planning for a stress free trip. When it came to come home, Our flight was delayed, I immediately texted the driver, and emailed the company. To my shock and frustration, despite me providing over five hours of notice of delay, and new arrival time, they declared this as extended waiting time for the driver. (Who by the way wouldn't have left yet). OK, so I've considered if we were sharing a ride with strangers, sure obviously can't make passengers wait, but an email before we left our vacation confirmed that the return trip would be Private, meaning we were the drivers only fare. So, under this policy, WHICH IS NOT CLEAR, you are subject to additional costs per hour. Was the flight delay our fault? NO! But we paid $800 up front 48hrs before our trip. So, they wanted to charge us an additional $450 some odd dollars for the time change. So, the total cost for the service greatly exceeded the round trip air fare for my vacation!! I don't understand how they're allowed to implement these ridiculous policies, but I am spreading awareness so this does not happen to anyone else. I hired a Sprinter van (9 seats) for over $700 in mid Sept 2018 over a hot, summer weekend, and the air conditioning was BROKEN!!!! I was a bit embarrassed that all 9 of us were sweating buckets over the course of 4 hours, as well as unable to achieve any relief from the hot sun. They never followed up with me either. Lastly, I requested one of their drivers weeks before, based on another friend's experience with them, and it wasn't until closer to my booking that they told me they were no longer available. I needed to get my 17 year old daughter to Trenton, she obviously didn't have a credit card. I was able to book and take care of everything remotely, the service over the phone, email and in person with my daughter was excellent. They made a difficult situation as painless as possible. If you ever need a refund due to new Covid restrictions, you will NOT get a refund easily and will have to get it back through your credit card agency. DO NOT pay in cash as your money is not traceable for a refund. read more

Do NOT hire these people! I was left stranded at the Toronto airport 11;30 at night because my flight was 3 HRS late ( not my fault and planes are notoriously late; I have been on something like 100 flights, maybe more, and of those only 2 were ever on time) and they said it was too late I was on my own and the next pick-up wasn't until 13;30 the NEXT AFTERNOON and I had a doctor's app't 13: 00 the next day. This was unacceptable. I live out of town! What was I supposed to do? I was furious! I had to call my hubby, who came to pick me up, mad as hell, a 2 HR drive EACH way, and I got home at 4 am. After all that, then they never refunded my $$$ and still had the nerve to charge me 200$ for a pick-up I never received. No way! My priest also said the exact same thing happened to him when he missed his connecting flight; they just abandoned him and said wait until the next day and when he asked if they'd pay to at least put him up for the night at a hotel they refused. He never took them again and neither will I. That's not how you treat people and no way to do business. read more

my driver was very professional and pleasant. The vehicle was as I had expected clean and comfortable. my trip to the airport was just as I wanted it uneventful. my driver help me unload my luggage when we arrived at the airport, much appreciated as it was darn cold out. I know there are fuel cost and paying the driver. But the cost of the ride into Toronto is the only reason i did not give 5 stars. My 1and a half ride cost me almost as much as my airfare to belize. I'm surprised & sorry to see that some people have had bad experiences with Ontario Coachway -- we're elderly & live in a remote small town & have no safe, convenient way to get to any airport except via a service like theirs. We've always found them reliable & courteous. Most recently (last week) we had to get out of Toronto in the middle of rush hour on the 401 & our driver made it seem like the easiest, smoothest thing in the world. I needed to get to Kingston from the airport to catch a conference. I used Ontario Coachway because they offered private airport service. My family was travelling with me, including a one month old baby. When I called them up to book, they were polite and told me that they could help me out. I asked them if I needed to bring my baby's car seat, they asked me how old he was and I said, one month. The girl on the other line said, "no problem, we have car seats available here that you can use." I went ahead with the booking. Day of my travel came and 40 mins before I boarded the plane, they called me to say that they don't have a car seat for my baby. I said, I was told at the time that I booked that they have one and I even told them how old my baby was. The girl on the other line, named Kim, was irritated and told me "Well, it's not our problem. Now, what do you want me to do?" Mind you, I paid these guys $350 to receive this tremendous amount of stress and rudeness. I was extremely disappointed with the way they handled the situation. The only redeeming grace was that their driver was friendly and polite. Nevertheless, this company should train their 'phone operators' on customer service and to not promise anything to their customers. For that they receive one star. read more

When I first used this service, it was very good but It got worse until recently when I think I would rather walk to the airport than use this service. The biggest complaint is that recent drivers are not familiar with the area nor do they know how to utilize a GPS system. On my last trip, I thought I would never get home. The driver was driving around in the dark just hoping that the young passenger would recognise something familiar. On another occasion, a driver was asking guests who had never been to this area for directions. It is a shame because the service is much needed but it seems they are not able to retain good drivers. read more

My husband and I have used Ontario Coachway for many years, and have always been happy with their service. We have never been stranded at the airport due to the lateness of our plane, nor have they ever cancelled due to bad weather. As well, we have always made it to the airport on time. Overall the quality of drivers has been good. read more

Our flight back from Vegas was running late, and had lost my luggage. Because of the time it took to fill out the necessary paperwork we were running late. We were stressed and worried that we had missed our ride with Coachway from the airport but found that the driver from Coachway had waited for us. We were very happy to see him. I had used the shuttle service several times without problems beyond arriving at the Toronto airport hours before needed. On my last trip, the shuttle to the airport was fine. The day before my return trip, while I was in Europe, they called my home to say that they could only offer private service at an additional cost of $200, on top of the $174 I had already paid in full. A family member picked me up instead because I could not afford the additional cost. When I called to speak to someone on my return, no one returned my phone calls and I have received no reimbursement for the service not provided. read more

Punctual, door to door service. clean, reasonably priced. I would hope it continues to grow. The driver Elvin was excellent. Helpful. The best part is, on our way out we could leave our winter boots and coats in the limo. They were ready in the return limo when we came back from a tropical vacation. read more
