I figured it might be something with the ssd. I bought a new ssd and other components and had them install everything. First off, the wiring was really sloppy. Second, random things that I never had an issue with became an issue after getting it back like when I don't touch the mouse and the pc goes into sleep mode, it won't wake back up. I have to long press the power button and enter through bios everytime. Also, I can't type in the windows search bar, or Netflix search bar or a few others. Idk what's up with that, may be unrelated. Communication throughout the process was poor, and I was rarely informed about the status of my laptop. In the end, I was simply told that the motherboard was damaged and the laptop could not be repaired. If I just wanted a second opinion that my laptop was broken, I could have gotten one much much faster and at no cost. The experience cost me both time and money, and I was left frustrated by the lack of timely updates and clear communication. I can't comment on the quality of their repair work since no repair was performed, but based on my experience, their communication and turnaround time need significant improvement.
