I am so sad I didn't get to take more pictures. This is a family owed place. Location isn't as great, but you won't come across it unless you're looking for a poke/boba place in the hurst area. This is my second time trying it, and honestly I loved both times. As I mentioned I'm as i didn't get to take pictures. Their boba is so good the boba pearls are fresh and the milk tea is refreshing and aromatic. The poke bowls they offer for the price is a fair amount and the fish is fresh! For a fast, easy, quick meal, this is the spot. I took my boyfriend the second time around he loved it! The owner husband/wife are very friendly and helpful. If you don't know what you what they will guide you through the menu, and they will not charge for extra condiments or items that you need after ordering. The food is good overall! We will definitely go back, and when we do I promise better pictures ha-ha. We were just super hungry I didn't get enough pictures. Whatever you decide stick to what you like and you cannot go wrong!
Ordered online and my order was ready on time for pickup. I didn't spend but a few seconds indoors but they look to have ample seating and easy parking. The poke was ok, 3stars. I built my own bowl with spicy mayo and I wish I didn't- it was soaked in the sauce. Way too much sauce for the product. I had the spicy salmon for protein. I was expecting salmon chunks but it was like a tuna salad mesh in look and texture, wish it was freshly cut salmon, I would never had ordered if I new it was a scoop concoction. Lastly, because I do like spicy the jalapeños had zero flavor, but they were crunchy, as was the lettuce and the ginger was good. So 3 stars for the poke bowel but adding another star for the miso soup. It was really tasty and satisfying, highly recommend adding to your meal. Wish I would have ordered in person so I could halt the heavy sauce and choose another fish. I'll give this place another try sometime.
Super friendly service! I ordered a pick up order through Yelp and it was very simple to navigate. The bowl was fantastic! Super fresh ingredients and a good portion of food.
This is my second time here. It's pretty good. I wouldn't say it's "excellent" but it's the only poke place near me. The rice was a little undercooked both times. It makes for an interesting texture, but I do wish it was just a wee bit less stiff. The ingredients are fine, salmon is good and an incredibly small scoop, maybe has a small metallic aftertaste. The "crab" is good, sushi rolls have really advanced my taste for fake crab. lol The spicy mayo... I'm on the fence about it. I don't know if they make it themselves. If they do, maybe I don't like the mayo brand they use. If it's store bought, maybe I don't love the base they use. I still get it, but it's not as good as others I've had. All in all Ono Poke is fine. I don't go out of my way for it, but it works for getting a poke bowl.
My first time back in over two years after moving away to another city. Their sushirittos are still delicious! It's basically just a poke bowl wrapped into a piece of seaweed, and it's so yummy. I love that you can build your own or pick off of the menu. I built my own this time but also enjoy their volcano bowl.
What a pleasant surprise. I tried my first poke bowl last week and was happy to see that we had a poke bowl place nearby! I seriously can't believe we haven't had one of these before considering the amount of sushi we have eaten and love. Came here because of the reviews and I would agree with most of them. The food is fresh. The people were friendly and helpful (even kind when we walked in 30 mins to close). The restaurant is clean. And overall the concept is fun! After we sat down to eat, we were brought some complimentary miso soup which was nice. Our 8 year old was with us and are both of them! The guy came back to check on our food and also to tell us they had kids options (I think he said 5.95- they aren't listed on the menu) which include a protein and 3 mix ins I believe. They also have chicken for the kiddos that do not like raw fish. We will definitely come back here and bring our other boys. It was relatively inexpensive for a sushi bowl and for a family of 5- we can get away with under $50 for a taste of sushi! Way to go!
I had a great lunch today from Ono Poke. Placed my order online directly from the Yelp app. It was done quickly and efficiently (although the grub hub update didn't show it even when it was done). The food was super tasty. I got a regular build your own poke bowl and used the sushirito option which was kind of like a hand roll in a burrito format! The regular size comes with two scoops of protein, so I ended up getting tuna and spicy tuna, added avocado, got the house miso sauce along with some crispy wontons for some crunch. It was wonderful and such a light and refreshing lunch option! I was going to try a matcha milk too but deleted it from the order just before and should have tried it! I will definitely be back at some point to get a poke bowl and try some other things as well. Great option for fresh and tasty poke!
Delicious! I was put off by the smell of this place at first (visions of salmonella played in my head--if I wasn't with someone, I would've walked out), but the food was awesome! I got the sushiritto Superbowl (tuna, salmon, tofu, mango, peanuts, avocado, scallion, and yuzu wasabi). The sushiritto is like...a sushi burrito with a seaweed wrapper. You get less than a bowl, but the seaweed makes things taste better. They have a small selection of milk teas with boba that were on the pricier side, so I skipped. I got a bottled green tea and my total was $15 something. Very Ig friendly place. 10% off if you tag them on social media!
***For the newbies Fill out the paperwork on the table and bring it to the door. A nice young man will take it and my order was ready in 5 mins. I ordered a sushirito. I read comments on how big the sushirito was. Maybe it's because I didn't get too much in there but mine was pretty small and I could eat 1.5 servings. I asked for light rice as well. It was very tasty! I will need to ask for soy sauce or some sort of sauce on the side next time because it's basically like eating a giant sushi roll. I usually have sushi rolls with soy sauce. I will definitely return again and possibly try a bowl next time!
I have never been able to eat at another poke place after trying Ono Poke! Food - I am a vegetarian and really enjoy their tofu poke bowls. They have a lot of toppings to choose from and certainly do not skimp on it! The regular size portion typically results in two meals for me. The vegetable toppings taste very fresh and their sauces are super savory and delicious! Service - as you enter the restaurant, all you have to do is pick up a piece of paper/pen and check off what you want in your bowl. Once you are done, you hand off the paper and your bowl starts to be prepared. Service is incredibly fast and efficient! Ambiance - the restaurant has plenty of seating and is pretty clean. It looks like most people tend to carry out, so I don't suspect there being much competition for seating. Overall, if you're looking for a quick and tasty middle of the workday lunch, I highly recommend a visit to Ono Poke! read more
It's been a while (4 years) since I've ordered from Ono Poke. Today I ordered a Build Your Own Bowl and I opted for Zucchini Noodle, Sesame Dressing, Ahi Tuna, Shrimp, Fresh Salmon, Seaweed, Sesame Seed, Crispy Onion, Edamame, Mushroom, Carrot, Cucumber, and Zucchini. It was just enough and it was delicious !!!! read more

Wanted Poke and bestie and I tried this place. It was clean and quiet inside and ordering was easy with the kiosk. I built my own bowl and it was awesome! I also ordered a Dragon Fruit Green Tea and it was really good. I'll have to go back! read more

When I'm craving sushi but don't want to spend too much, a sushirrito does the job. I've ordered to go from here twice and it was solid. It's not the best I've ever had, but definitely satisfies my cravings. I normally order my sushirrito with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, cucumber, seaweed salad, masago, red onions, crunchy garlic, crunchy onions, and top it off with their spicy mayo and spicy garlic sauce. Every bite is refreshing and packs huge flavor combinations. For $10, I can't complain! Ever since COVID-19, they don't let you dine in. They do have tables outside if you want to sit and eat there. Their take out ordering process is smart and safe. You can either call ahead or walk up to the door and place your order through a glass window. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

I have to say I'm pleasantly shocked! After a dreadful visit to the DPS, I was craving poke so I pulled up to the nearest poke joint after calling to place an order. As I approached the door I noticed they are definitely being cautious, only handing out orders at the door. There was even hand sanitizer out there for customers. Customer service was good, nothing to complain about. I went back in my car and dug in! Was going to wait til I got home but omg it looked too good. I was expecting it to just taste like any other mediocre poke bowl I've tried elsewhere but I was wrong! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was so fresh. From the rice, to the avocado, all of it. For my proteins I chose Cajun tuna and spicy salmon. It was both delicious. The tuna came in slices which was new to me but it was so good. I loved that they did not skimp out on the masago. I suggest getting the crispy garlic and onion on top, it just made the bowl even better! The price is pretty fair as well. $8 for a regular & $10.99 for a large. Only thing that bothers me is how little avocado you get. I love avocado so I would gladly pay $1 for some but I feel like they could put some more in there. I was given really thin slices of probably 1/4 of an avocado. But other than that everything was perfect to me! I finished it within 10 minutes so that says something considering I'm the slowest eater on this earth haha. Def go check it out! Already craving it again. read more

This is my favorite Poke spot! The staff does a great job keeping the restaurant and surfaces clean. The bowls are great and they have alot of options to customize your bowl. They also have boba and different teas and offer some specials if you order $25 or more. Don't miss the fried dumplings, solid appetizer if you're super hungry. The bowls are big enough on their own, plenty of ingredients and fish. Good sauce options as well. You can't go wrong here! read more

Giving three stars because the food was amazingly delicious but service was nothing special. There were only two of them working and we waited 35 minutes for our food to come out and on top of that, we had to wait another 10 minutes for our bubble tea to be made (while we were already eating) even after ordering it way ahead of time. They were very busy and the workers don't have a sense of urgency and were too slow. I would love to go back because their poke bowls were so good but service was just bad. read more
This is one of the cutest, trendiest Poke spots I've been to in the metroplex. The establishment is clean and bright and open. My daughter and I decided to build our own bowl and filled out the convenient printed checklist at the front of the counter. The employee that helped was so nice and got our order correct. We also ordered the miso soup and there was a great deal for a $1.99 yogurt drink when you purchased a bowl. My daughter got mango and I got peach. Both were so delicious and refreshing. The ingredients in the bowl were fresh and tasted soooo good! Hands down one of the best Poke bowls I've had. However, my only complaint is that the miso soup was very bland, I'll skip that next time! All in all it's worth a visit! read more

This place is a gem. I came here for lunch and the setup was very easy--you pick up a menu and choose what you want. They're very helpful and greeted us warmly when we walked through the door. It's very affordable (2 proteins for $8.99!) and I was a big fan of the Cajun tuna and the salmon. It sounded strange but it's so good! They really stack on the proteins and toppings, and the bowl is not 70% rice, as I have found with many other poke places. There's a lot of room for customization so you can make it vegetarian or vegan or any way to fit any dietary restrictions. I could definitely see this place becoming a local favorite, and it's already one of mine!!! read more
